It is an interesting thing, to sit halfway between worlds. Between lives. A child of a carnivore, born to crave blood and meat, and yet claimed by the earth and the sunlight. Tamed by gentleness, graced by power, it became something other. Both a herbivore, and a decomposer, it walks a careful trail between life and death. Bringing life with its every step, as flowers seem to spring up in its wake... and yet needing the bodies of the dead to survive. Though perhaps that is symbolic, for the swamp itself is a place of extreme life and death too.
A protector, not just of nature but of the order that governs it. Covered in bioluminescent lichens and mosses, yet bleeding blood as red as you or I. Claimed by two worlds, finding its one path.

Hey all! Like I mentioned, I AM still working on dragon eggs and commissions during this hiatus! Here's the last egg from the first batch. Because 1. it took so long, and 2. some of you were curious about what the larger 150 workups looked like, I decided to upgrade this one to be a full creature work up. (reminder that this is what the standard option looks like!)

These are more of a passion project for me, than a way to make gb, as the time I spend could definitely yield higher revenue. I say this only because - I am going to take my time with these, and put effort into them for the experience and what they could mean for my portfolio, as well as to get them done for you guys! So expect longer wait times this time around, but also higher quality creatures and lore :).

On ANOTHER note :> for those of you that have been asking about my process - I've been migrating to photoshop and recording as I work! that process is uploaded here for anyone who's interested in taking a look. I'll probably actually talk and explain it at some point if you guys want, but it's just the visuals for now!

Ahh they're here!!! Thank you so much they look just stunning, I love the blues and purples they look just awesome- especially those flowers on the border! I'm so glad I was able to snag that last egg, it turned out beautifully!
ps you wouldn't mind if I made a toyhouse for them?? I'm just itching to get some art done for this beauty!!
