Changing females into male in wardrobe

Hi so i was playing and checking newborn Cubs and they were females, when i made them adult they were "male" and when i put the gender to male it was a female?

Just take any random lion without a lab frog, then go to wardrobe and watch if it changes the gender for no reason when making adult.
