Hoshiko started out as a young girl in a small town on the water, she would never want to be home due to the way she was treated. So every day she would wander the streets of her small town till there was nothing else to look for, then she would walk along the shore of the beach looking at all the shells lost in the sand. At night to avoid staying home she would sneak out and walk down to the beach. Hoshiko would just sit on the stone wall watching the moon and the waves. After years go by following the same routine she found this girl, her name was melody. Soon Hoshiko and melody became best friends, and from friends they turned into lovers. After a few months Hoshiko stopped showing up around town because of this melody started to get upset and angry towards Hoshiko. Eventually after another few months Hoshiko came back, she never told melody where she had been and melody never asked. Soon Hoshiko started to notice something odd with melody, she wouldn't talk much to Hoshiko, she would leave leave for hours on end, and she wasn't with Hoshiko at night, sitting up on the stone wall watching the moon and the waves crash. Hoshiko walked through town and noticed something, it was melody. Melody wasn't alone however and she wasn't empty handed. She was with a boy whom Hoshiko has never met, and she had an evil expression on her face. Melody had gotten a new habit of stealing from the town with this boy. Hoshiko couldn't look at her the same. That night she went back to the stone wall but stopped in her tracks. She saw melody sitting there with the boy, she was laying on his shoulder. Hoshiko got a little closer to listen to what they had to say. She only heard three words, but that's all she had to hear. I love you, were the words coming out of Melody's mouth. It's all starting to make sense, when Hoshiko was gone melody got this this boy, he got her into stealing, and soon took her away from Hoshiko even more. She was heartbroken. With nowhere else to go, she left and headed to the only place she didn't want to go, home. The following night Hoshiko was sitting on the wall when she felt a tap on her shoulder, it was melody. She turned to see her but saw as her eyes had a dull look to them. "Come walk with me by the water" melody said. It's been a while since they last walked together. They both stopped, Hoshiko staring at the moon and melody staring at Hoshiko. Hoshiko turned to look at melody but she was met with a cold agonizing pain in she chest. She looked down to see a weapon that melody was holding. Hoshiko fell to her knees, looking back up at melody, slowly closing her eyes as a single tear rolls down her face. Lost to the ocean, Hoshiko sunk down farther and farther down. From there, her body floated up, out of the atmosphere and onto the surface of the moon. She awoke and in front of her was a tall goddess. She spoke elegantly and softly "you may call me Fate, my dear. I've been watching you and what you've been through my child. It was not fair the way you had to leave, that's why I'm here. I know your worth, you are a powerful being. Thus I grant you the power of the gods. You shall protect your only friend in the night, the moon." Once Fate had finished her speech, Hoshiko felt calmer, like a wave of relief fell over her body. Another figure walked out into the darkness, she spoke "You may call me prophecy, you my child now have a great power, but with that great power comes great tragedy. You were killed by your only love. You shall forever be reminded by this tragedy with your new form, the nine tails." Once prophecy finished speaking your body floated up once more, Hoshiko felt her body changing, her hair grew longer, her fingers now had claws, and she now had 8 tails, one for each of the phases of the moon.
