Just think about it. You put effort into getting that combo lady, and making her pass her base is still the same as any old regular factor breeding. Yeah, that's not fun.

We don't have an approximate number of the combo base breeding rate, but it's not that big. Like, REALLY not that big.

This just makes kinging combo bases, which is what a lot of people (like me) like to do, unnecessary for combo breeding because they work just the same as any regular old factor king. Sure, the glory is there when you king a combo base, but if he doesn't have a mutation or tons of markings, he's practically worthless compared to other factor kings with rosettes, mutations, etc.

Take my constellation lady, 𝓐𝓷𝓭𝓻𝓸𝓶𝓮𝓭𝓪


She just gave me a constellation 4 days ago, on her third heat. I have another constellation as well, and she has yet to give me a constellation. I've heard from a lot of people that their combo ladies don't even pass during their entire lifetime. Does this seem fair for people who are combo base breeders, and the effort they put into that just goes to waste when they barely pass? Not ideal You aren't going to feel nice if your MONTH-LOCKED combo base doesn't pass in her entire lifetime, and now you have to wait til that month comes again!

Let's look at another one of my examples. My mudpie lady, She will turn you to mudstone.


I got very lucky and scored a mudstone with a piebald. She's gone through 6 heats, and only has 2 left. She has not given me a mudstone, let alone anything good. I was surprised with her as she was the first combo I ever bred, and she had a mutation. Even though I didn't put that much effort for her, it still doesn't make me feel good that she probably will pass away without giving a mudstone.

I could go on forever with examples, but the last one, just to show the effort.


This is Blackky, a tree cub I got and loved so much, I decided to keep. Oh, how many times I wanted to chase her after not giving me a soul baby. I didn't, and on her 2nd last heat, she gave me one. I've had her since she was almost an adult. That's almost 150 real life days. Imagine waiting that long for something that isn't even guaranteed. That is effort.

I want to know how someone doesn't think that level of patience and effort is crazy. I don't even know if she will give me a soul in her lifetime, but it would be a miracle if she did. Sorry for all the examples, but I think this would be the best way to showcase how much we need an added boost for combo x combo breeding!

What's worse is the market. Like I just explained in several ways (lol) it takes a lot of effort. A person in comments had been trying for Qahir since late 2022, they got one last week (as of now). If you have checked combo base market, you'll see hell. I bred a styx one time and tried to sell her, no one would buy her at even 1 gb. Lion market is already crashing, and combo value is dying. What's the point of breeding them if they're not worth anything when the bases get old???

You might be saying this will only make their value worse, but that's not entirely true. It's already going down, so it's basically inevitable. If we can't sell it, we can keep it. Most people like to keep combos they breed unless they're super new. Like aether, a lot of people want it because it was super new, the first one was sold for I think over 400 gb. What's the point of keeping it if it probably won't even pass in it's entire lifetime.
