Name: Thalira, the Heart Of Life

In a vibrant forest where sunlight dances through the leaves, Thalira, the Lioness of Trees, roams with fur that mirrors the bark of ancient trees. Born from the spirit of the giving tree, she possesses the unique ability to nurture life.
One day, Thalira encountered a lonely lioness cast aside by her pride. Sensing the sadness in her heart, Thalira approached and, with compassion, offered a way for the lioness to find purpose. She gently took the unwanted lioness's heart, a seed of love and longing, and planted it in the earth.
From that heart, a magnificent tree sprouted, its branches reaching out to shelter all who sought refuge. Thalira continued this sacred act, transforming sorrow into new life by planting the hearts of abandoned lions. Each tree became a symbol of hope, reminding the forest that every life holds the power to grow and flourish.
As the Lioness of Trees, Thalira nurtures both the forest and its inhabitants, teaching that even in darkness, love can bloom anew.

Black Orchid, my pride and joy <3
One of my favorite horror themed lions i created but never got the chance to share! She’s based off of folklore, so here’s a quick blurb about those.

“In folklore, the will-o'-the-wisp is said to be a ghost, fairy, or elemental spirit that lures travelers astray. The name comes from the Latin ignis fatuus, which means ‘foolish fire’.”

I have quite a bit of lore with her, some parts darker than others, but for the sake of brevity I’ll give you a quick summary.

Her whole gimmick is that in order to feed, she lures curious creatures and lions into her territory using a glowing, compelling light. Once her victim is isolated, she brutally attacking them and stripping their soul of its essence. Once she’s had her fill, she goes into hiding again. Sometimes, the remnants of a creature’s soul remains tethered to the mortal realm— and the souls of the perished get to stick around until they fade away :)

Name: Saturn
Lore: From a distant galaxy, this lion is actually a goddess that can shape shift. Her favorite forms are dragon, horse, and lion. She rules the Jewel planet and is loved by all of her subjects. She likes adventure and always pulls her boyfriend into them too. She likes poisonous flowers with an excuse that she can use them for self defence. She is usually bubbly with excitement and/or gloomy and still like a statue. She has lots of friends and is always open to new ones!

Name: Pegasus
Lore: Pegasus is a normal lioness who just wants to match with the user behind this account and dress a the black swan from Swan Lake :3 (this isn’t the actual lore).
Pegasus was the daughter of a kind and thoughtful king, but the king was naive. Her mother had passed on leaving her daughter behind because her heart longed for adventure. The king sought a new lover and found one but his lover had three daughters each of beauty and grace. The king was instantly charmed by all four of them, the eldest daughter was snobbish and she always demanded the best to which she never said thank you for, the middle child seemed a perfect beauty, with a kind heart, but she was too much of a sensitive soul and she was too enamored by her own beauty to see her flaws, the third was a sweet but spoiled little cub who batted her lashes and got what she wanted. The king became so distracted by these lovely new daughters he forgot his own. And so Odette became Odile, she stopped trying to become the perfect unachievable daughter so that the king would notice her and welcomed the shadows.

The misplaced, Ihala.

Ihala was once a revered member of the Moonlit pride, a tribe of lionesses whose tale is lost to all but their ancestors. They were so powerful the gods themselves feared the violence that'd unfold if the lionesses glimpsed their holy forms..
They were anxious. Tension arose within their communities and deities grew more and more on edge, only slightly reassured by Metzli, the hare who protects the Moonlit pride with his all-seeing blind eyes. His words could only ease the worries of most of them, however, and a fierce goddess by the name of Akala crept behind his back and lured the pride, pretending to be a soothsayer come down to aid them in speaking to their divine Moon.
She brought them to a temple amongst the frozen tundra and locked the entire pride inside of it, her eyes lighting with malice as she set a spell on their mortal bodies, encasing them in ice. Every cub, every queen and lover, dispatched in seconds out of fear.
Metzli returned to see his beloved followers dead, their expressions of terror immortalised on their faces. Horrified by Akala's ruthlessness the hare tried and tried to revive them all, but his magic was useless against the more powerful goddess'.
Reluctantly he chose only one to undo the curse. He padded carefully to a small cub and wrapped their frozen body in his paws, warming them with his breath. Magic embedded into their young fur, shimmering, burning, but it would need time to work. Days, weeks, years, he didn't know, nor at the time did he care. Perhaps in another century this cub would live again, for he longed to have a living memory of his worshippers.
Metzli was foolish. He acted out of impulse and out of desperation, his power fueled by grief instead of kindness.

She's thawed out thousands of years later in the middle of a desert with lions that don't speak her language :3

The lioness raises her cold, thin body off of the ground and looks around at the empty world they now found themselves in. The thick snow that once coated her home had long melted away, leaving not even a pawstep of their memory. Everything they had once known or ever wanted to had died and been known, leaving her the only standing remnant of her time.
Oh, Metzli, hare in the moon's eye, what have you done now?


A lioness without a name, what would become of her? Once a noble member of the fabled Moonlit pride, now alone in a desert she could no longer call her own. The only remnants of her pride were icy towers, defiant to the sun's blaze, but she couldn't bear to go in and see the frozen faces of her long dead kin.
