You can craft Rawhide from large Food carcasses in your hoard ^^

For example, at the bottom of Giraffe Calf Carcass' page there's a button "Use for Rawhide"
I'd click around your Food page in Inventory a bit, and see which ones you won't mind using! ^^


Edit: Or if it's easier you can check out the Rawhide Crafting List here (Wiki); once you make uses, you can turn them in to the quest <3
I'd try to use whichever is most cost effective, & wouldn't interfere with your normal feeding routine!
