Event UpdateNew EncountersSix new November event-exclusive explore encounters have been added in, all centering around Primals! A new battling NPC has been added as well: Hunting Females! The Hunting Females can be found year-round within all biomes, and will add +3 defeated Lions to slay quests.
New Shaman Shop ItemA new decor has been added to the Shaman Shop!
New Crafting RecipesFive new November event-exclusive crafting recipes have been added!
 The genetics for Cabochon are Golden Medium Countershaded Special, and it is tied to Sandy skin!
The matching Cabochon marking applicator can be used to apply the following:* Cabochon Dapple * Cabochon Dinictis * Cabochon Feline * Cabochon Indri * Cabochon Mirage * Cabochon Pelage * Cabochon Rogue * Cabochon Snuggle Note: We are currently uploading mutation files for Cabochon, and expect to have the files fully uploaded within 2-3 hours after news is posted!
Monkey Business UpdateNew decors have been added to Monkey Business! These can be purchased year-round.
New Crafting RecipesTwo new background crafting recipes have been added! These can be crafted year-round.
Quality of Life UpdatesThis month, we've implemented a few small quality of life updates for various areas of the site. * A new field has been added under the "Lion Stats" table that indicates how many stats the lion was born with. This will only count for lions born after this update—all preexisting lions will have "Unknown" birth stats.
* A red notice banner has been added on the "Incoming Stud Requests" page to remind you of breeding items that are actively applied to your pride leader. This is to help avoid mistakenly using breeding items on stud requests if you have used them for an in-pride breeding or a heat request you've sent out.
* A "View Image" link has been added to the Item Catalogue for backgrounds that, when clicked, will display the full background image within a popup on the same page.
* You can now access a player's Beetle Book via their territory (viewing a player's Beetle Book was already possible, just not directly linked anywhere). The button can be found at the bottom of each den page, near the Dynasty and Achievement links.
Art Bug Fixes* Fixed Bat skin having the wrong file uploaded for Adult Female Neutral * Fixed Scarab eyes missing in Explore * Fixed Vicious eyes missing karma artwork in Explore Coding Bug Fixes* Added in the missing crafting recipe for Homotherium Marks. * Raffle reports should no longer contain notifications about more than one raffle, or raffles that you were not a part of.

The last few base releases both app and BO, other than Nether, Incorporeal, and Aether, have been awful. Why approve these if they look no different from several other common bases? The primal encounters look absolutely amazing! But I do agree with what I've seen, aside a few bases, combo, app, and even regular are fairly plain, and or very unappealing, these bases do not share much appeal! Which means these bases you worked rather hard on will get less traction from the majority of players making them not sought for and just a another filler! I'd personally love to see more blues, greens and more darker heus of brown, purples even! Give bases the people like more love, players should look forward to intresting releases! The stat bar is an interesting addition, has much more use to kings than many other lions I'd say, the red banner on studding is most helpful I'd personally say, and as for the battle beatle book, i dont see it being very useful, and I see background viewing is very helpful! <3 My biggest issue is the bases being all to similar, like the golden set, they are all different shades of the same color, or just very eye burning and mushed together in drupa's case! I appreciate it you read this, thanks for making Lioden slightly better each day! Tack on - I see the appeal for giving natural color lovers their share, but the bases arnt much different from what else we already have! It's more so a sad rebrand, and I'm saying this with a PASSIONATE love for oranges :( Tack on 2 - We need to stop masking the problem, "YAY NEWS" and "COOL BASES" with a lack of opinion put towards it, really encourages the receival of plain and repetitive bases, I feel we shouldn't have to worry about voicing our opinions, let alone quite over the lack of BO bases or non-applicator ones! I love the new decors we've been getting, theya re REALLY cool in my opinion, but we need more stuff like Madagascar. But we also need to recognize that all of us are people, we shouldn't be mean about all of it, but we should at least try to be reasonable and leave proper criticism and not have a meltdown over it. 10 players like this post! Hooray, another base app to sit in my hoard because it doesn't have a use. Seriously, you have all these cheap November bases just begging for a combo... and cool, third base app of the month no one asked for. I use apps for combo factors/increase my chances when breeding to a special BO base... but not a lot of those around either :/ If you must release multiple bases every month, why not one base app and one combo/BO base? 8 players like this post!
