In the sidebar near where it shows today's date & time, there's a little side-by-side icon display for Time of Day & then Season. You can also read the season in plain text on the View your Cooldowns page, which is beneath your lion's energy/hunger/exp/imp display along the sidebar.
The current Season (

Dry Season) is listed at the very top under Game Cooldowns.

The sun is slightly different for Day time

so right now it is

Daytime Dry Season on Lioden. In roughly 29 minutes it will be

Night-time Dry Season.

Edit: In 3 days, it will be Wet season: so you'll see

for night & day respectively.
I usually glance at the icons & double-check in Cooldowns, just to be sure! <3
