The sun shined bright across the land, the streets were filled with laughter and busy people. Kids ran around as their parents talked and bough from different stands, some had jewelry, some had clothing and some had food. Though what was the same about all of these people? They all had similar features to animals, most were common creatures though such as canines and cats. Some was less common, well at least in this kingdom. Then there were humans, very rarely born, some say their a curse to family's if one is born and some say their a blessing, that the old ways are coming back. Not much is known though as some humans stay in hiding, we all know hybrids have "animal instincts" and if given a chance they will act apon them.

There sat a young woman up in her room, gazing out of her window as she watched the busy town. Hearing footsteps throughout the halls she figured the guards were on their latest patrol. Standing up she tossed on a beautiful long silky silver dress and make-up, her hair up in a ponytail as she looked at herself. Smiling at a job well done she made her way towards the main room where her parents said they were, once she arrived she was greeted by two Kitsune hybrids which happened to be her parents. She gave them a proper greeting before listing to their small rant about what's good for the kingdom, how she might get the kingdom as she influenced the people for good. Yet there was always that one group, routes. They always seemed to hate the kingdom, no matter what if they were good or evil they were always out to kill. That's one of the reasons why almost everyone in their family had personal guards when they went out of the palace.

Once her parents rant was over her parents gave her a small box with something in it, thanking them she turned around and left heading straight for the garden. She went to her regular spot and sat down on a bench so she didn't get her dress dirty, her fingers ran across a few rare flowers, they were shift to the touch well most of them. "Where did mother and father get this one?" She questioned herself picking a light pink flower.

*the large make dragon hybrid which so happens to be the princesses royal guard walks over and looks down at the present in her hands... "Oh... I guess that's what your parents wanted those flowers from the dragons layers for..."

The young man stretches his wings and sat next to the princess humming a tune as butterfly's surround him to listen in

"honestly though princess, I wonder sometimes why your parents even trust a dragon hybrid to watch over their daughter who is a human... It's rather interesting for them to do considering how naturally aggressive dragons tend to be.."

he sighs and yawns offering the smaller woman next to him a small and rather beautiful opalescent gem "found this one while fight training was ending, what do you think?"

Recluse looked over at the dragon hybrids with a warm smile, as he sat down she shrugged before looking back to at the flowers in the box. "Their aggressive but also natural protectors. Sure other hybrids are able to do the same job but dragons get it done unlike others." A small chuckle came from her, grabbing a flower she placed in her hair before turning to him.

As she was offered the opalescent gem she gently and carefully took it from it, staring down at it in awe as she flipped it to different sides. "It's beautiful. Wait wait you found it in the training field? I though these gems weren't found here." She said glancing at him before placing the gem in the box with the flowers, making sure it was safe and sound.

"Oh- make sure you wash up later. Apparently the queen is going to have you escort us to a neighboeing kingdom. Don't need you looking well.. Like this.* She chuckled, jokening around as she pointed to his messy hair and sweaty skin. " Maybe I can get some stuff to helped your wings, you know keep them moisturized."

" hah!! You always say funny things, ugh though a dinner with the queen... Not a good idea with you there, but no thanks a shower is well enough to moisturize them, they get damaged easy so I'd rather not test the limits-"
The large make sighs, he stands up to go bathe and get his hail silky and straight once more... Ahem the way the royals like his hair is silky, shiny and straight not how it looks after training

(Time skip)

Later in the dining hall he walks in, his wings decorated decently with jewelry and his usual hoop earrings in his ears... His horns are polished and shiny once more and his hair still slightly slick with water... Smoothe and pretty nonetheless though- "salutations, may the gods bless us with the food from the gardens and the healthy livestock we nourish to maturity"

He says these words as sits down to wait for the food the lovely food servants have cooked up
(Side note this leads to walking to neighboring kingdom)

Her smile turned to a slight pout as he declined the moisturizer though she didn't push. She stood up and hooded before waving him off, grabbing the box she headed back towards her room to get a few things, and put the flowers away. She slid the box on her desk, laying on her bed she sighed before tossing a pillow in the air. She though she could catch it, nope it fell straight on her face.

Later on in the dining hall sat the King and Queen, Recluse sat on the edge while her younger siblings sat across from her. The three young boys were trouble makers, though they were also smart. Smart enough to know Recluse would be sliding parts of her dinner to the three pups, they even knew how to act as they always acted rough. (From brave lol). Recluse and her parents spoke about the neighboring kingdom and why they went there, as for the three young ones? They ran around, surprising not making a mess as they were just playing around.

She watched the three rough house around, a small giggle was heard every few minutes, before being followed by silence. "Oh hey Artemis." She whispered with a smile, waving at him. She wasn't really allowed to speak at the table as it was rude but there were exceptions, he wasn't one though.

Artemis smirks at her but is silent as he watches not exactly wants to get in trouble but he pokes her leg and motions to her brother that just hit his head on the table. His wings shift uncomfortably in the chair, the jewelry on them jingling almost silently as he does so.

Artemis can't help but let out a small chuckle at the jingling of the jewelry hanging off of his wings. You would stand with the princess to go tend to her brother rather uncomfortable with the constant shaking of the jewelry on his wings he huffs a sigh and continues walking.

"How did you even manage to hit your head while playing with your other brothers?..." The tall dragon hybrid would ask the Young mischievous prince in front of him, all he would see out of the corner of his eye is the princess looking up at him with a questioning face since he already knows that the small princess can't stay out of trouble like as always.

Recluse watched as one of her younger brothers hit his head on the table, with a small laugh she stood up and walked over, stopping a few feet away. Crossing her arms she watched the two as Artemis made sure he was alright. Laughs were heard from their other siblings before their parents told them to sit down. The two boys sat including Recluse though they watched Artemis and Asbjørn.

Once Asbjørn confirmed he was right he gave Artemis a fist bumb before returning back to his seat as dinner was about to start. The boys were of course being boys and rambunctious though they stayed seated this time, where Recluse sat there like a lady talking to her mother about the upcoming visit they were planing. It was like a play date for the two kingdoms, the younglings could run around and play while the kings and queens would talk and hang out. Now Recluse? She usually walked around the town there, or hanged out with the prince, it just all had to do with her parents.

*Artemis usually just followed looking as fancy or as scary as he wanted meanwhile just doing his job as a royal guard "hey princess, this is boring wanna go get some cake or whatever I just need a new sword cause I'm an idiot and broke my last one... I'll get that myself though"

He stop as he waits for an answer (yo getting tired, gonna do smaller replys for a bit, you can too if needed)

Recluse glanced at him before nodding. "Yeah! Actually I'll go with you, I kinda want to see how those swords are made." She said placing her silver where down. She gave her barley eaten plate to her brothers with a smile, which they gladly accepted. Standing up she thanked the servents for the food before walking with Artemis. "May I ask how you broke your last sword? Was it during training orr?" She questioned as she walked besides him.

"it was made of weak material broken during training... unfortunately the metal in our kingdom is quite weak so the swords are easy to break, luckily the guy I'm going to currently has stronger swords than most in this palace"

Artemis thinks the cooking servants on his way out of the dining hall. As they get out of sight of the parents and brothers practically anyone that could see them he carefully grabs the princess's hand just as a small comfort thing...

"These Halls always give me the creeps, they're so eerie and dark in this Palace... Feels like someone died in these Halls, once feels like bad juju"

Royal guard size quietly making sure the princess does not hear his exasperated sigh. The two quickly get to the guy who sells the supposedly stronger swords in this Kingdom any places down about 7,000 coins for the merchant to get one of the stronger swords.

"Thanks bud, nice metal quality, where do you go to get it?" He questioned just carefully since he knows the metal this sword is made out of is from the dragon caves a place that humans such as him are disallowed to go to...

"Oh.. I can try to get Father and Mother to get better metal, send some of the workers out to get some better materials. I'm sure they wouldn't mind!" Recuse said quietly as she looked down at their hands, a slight blush was on her face but she kept her composer as she was expost to. A smile on her face as they continued walking to the man he said he was going to get his sword, hey at least she gets to see how their made. Kinda.

"Their not that creepy, they just need a.. Lady's touch to them then they would look better. It also doesn't feel like a bad juju, it's just a bit.. Dark and creepy other than that a good makeover could be put in place." She said with a large smile on her face, twirling around showing him some spots that could be fixed and where lights could be put.

Once they arrived at the other kingdom she waited patiently besides him, gawking at the swords and other weapons she read about. Well and seen as she usually snuck out to join in on the training the guards did, though it was rarely she still had enough practice to defend herself if Artemis wasn't there.
