Now What Is the New Thing?!
New Applicator - This applicator will let you apply the Primal (Ennedi Vossoko) mutation to any non-mutated lion.
Ennedi Vossoko
This new Primal does not have any special stat boost; however, it has unique breeding traits! Both sexes can breed and pass the mutation to their offspring under certain conditions:
If a Primal (Ennedi Vossoko) lion is bred to a lion without a Primal-type mutation: Ennedi Vossoko will not pass, but regular Primal, Primal (Felis), Primal (Smilus), and Primal Fangs can show up.
Ennedi Vossoko x Ennedi Vossoko: has the highest chance of producing an Ennedi Vossoko lion, along with passing regular Primal, Primal (Felis), Primal (Smilus), and Primal Fangs.
Ennedi Vossoko x regular Primal/Felis/Ferus/Smilus: has a low chance of producing an Ennedi Vossoko lion, along with passing regular Primal, Primal (Felis), Primal (Smilus), and Primal Fangs.
Both male and female adult forms are identical and have a mane. Ennedi Vossoko Teen Male has a similar mane to Felis Teen Male, with the throat patch removed. Ennedi Vossoko Teen Female features a unique mane! Ennedi Vossoko cub stages match other Primal cub stages.A Reminder for Previous MoDs:
Patches and Piebald, just like Overgrown Fur, have a small chance of passing (for both parents each!). It will always try to pass the parent's pattern - but in a case of both parents having different Patches/Piebald patterns, it will be an equal chance for either of them to pass separately.

The bonus pool being unbalanced is a great point that’s making me hesitate to buy GB. The least valuable item in the pool is worth about 3gb and 500sb, that being the egg yolk. The lion meat isn’t that much better either, while it’s about 7gb out of season it’s literally sold in the January event shop for 2000sb. Even cheaper than the yolk. Is this intentional? Is the bonus pool a gamble you take when purchasing golden beetles? If so, I feel like that should be explicitly disclaimed. If it isn’t intended to be a gamble, then why keep the less valuable items in the bonus pool? We know the pool gets updated because it has a siren’s call in there. Which, imo, is a very obscure item to throw in the pool given the other items introduced much sooner that are more favorable (i.e ochre powders) especially considering there was rather explicit pushback against the item and it’s implementation at the end of September. There’s also angelic blessings and ochre saltlicks that are omitted from the bonus pool for no reason, at least not a given one. I feel as though it wouldn’t be such a pain if the items were swapped out every year, with some repeat favorites and other less favorable ones swapping places so they all get some light. However, we have barely valuable items like the egg yolk that have been in the bonus pool for several years in a row. It only comes to me now as I type another huge flaw of the item… it expires in a week. If I’m buying premium currency and supporting a game, I would feel majorly insulted to have an already RNG-based game spin another wheel to determine that I get an item that won’t even last. If you don’t use it right away, suddenly you have no bonus pool item. At that point, why would someone place the gamble in the bonus pool? You technically aren’t even guaranteed an item from it, granted you roll the one that deletes itself from your hoard in a week. TLDR; The bonus pool desperately needs an update, and shouldn’t contain a batch of items with such a stark contrast between the most valued and least valued items. The current difference is the egg yolk (3gb&500sb / temporary item) versus the mukombero (100-150gb). There are several new special items that could be in the pool that aren’t, and the fact that you have to roll the dice on the bonus pool when spending IRL currency makes absolutely no sense when majority of this game is already RNG-based. There should be variety to avoid everyone getting extremely valuable items, but the least luckiest people shouldn’t feel as though they’ve been scammed. 10 players like this post! Overall, I'm satisfied with this Black Friday sale (and not just because I finally got lucky on an item pool.) I'm a Celtic fan and think this year's set goes well with last year's deer set. Now I just need a good natural king to use them on. I like the mechanics behind the new primal. OG primal cubs are worth dirt nowadays, and the Primal app gets like 10 GB each. January's right around the corner. Someone who really wants to get into breeding G2 Ennedis can use 5 to 10 OG primal apps or so on decent chased lionesses with an Ennedi king. A less expensive option would be just kinging a G1 primal to breed a bunch of G2 primal girls, then use an Ennedi king to breed a bunch of G3 Ennedis. There's still a market for Ferus heir reps when their mechanics mean they're at least G3, so...  I'm actually a fan of how the Ennedi looks, and that it can pass Smilus and Felis. Might finally try kinging a G1 Ennedi primal to try playing a G2 Smilus or Felis for once. I believe the Ennedi was supposed to be female only, and that the mechanics were only changed due to an earlier poll that made it clear there would still only be one pose for both genders, so I'm not miffed about their being only one pose this year. (Someone correct me if I'm misremembering that one too.) Admin Response: Female only primal is still planned and supposed to have a mohawk, so that part is not correct, we do appreciate the other feedback however! 0 players like this post! @romana you actually can’t use primal mod on chased lionesses sadly, as the mod can only be used on males. if you want g1 primal fems you have to buy groupies and sex change em 0 players like this post! Like? |
