I was in main chat early Black Friday morning, and the newest primal variant was the biggest discussion that was going on. The Ennedi primal is amazing, and the majority of Lioden likes it (from what I’ve seen in main chat).

Now, it has a new mechanic- it will only pass if bred to another primal. But what about the times it’s bred to normal lionesses? Could there be a “fail” version, kinda like primal fangs?

Well I thought a bit and remembered a recently extinct animal: the Tasmanian Tiger. We now have a primal based off a Tiger, so why not more? Now, the Tasmanian Tiger is a carnivorous marsupial, and marsupials aren’t too close to lions. But does everything have to be super close to each other? I’d like to think not.

So I present my “sketch” of what it could look like! I do not know how to draw in Lioden style, but I tried my best. It would be named something like “Primal: Thylacine”, or “Primal: Thylacinus cynocephalus”. I personally like Thylacine cause omg is the other long lol.



There’s some details that are based off the Ennedi primal, but the majority of it is closer to Tasmanian Tigers. Tasmanian Tigers have rounded, but sorta pointy ears, a triangular snout shape, and are short furred. I’ve done my best to reflect that, while still making it look like a primal.
