Equip to Impress

We present to you... "EQUIP TO IMPRESS"!
This is a year-round feature that will receive updates with content from time to time!

Through clicking this link, you can enjoy a little bit of cringe and vanity by having fun doing dress-ups in the wardrobe, then having other contestants vote for it!

Every hour, a new contest will be generated using a predetermined theme from a pool. During that time, you can submit a wardrobe link as your entry! This is one entry per account, so you can submit from your side account as well! You can edit your entry as long as contest is open.

On the hour, the contest will close - and you will have one more hour to vote, between 1-5 stars! It will cycle through entries randomly until the contest is over. We know that in the beginning, there will be a HUGE amount of entries to go through, and you might give up halfway - that's okay! Everyone gets a minimum of 1 star and 1 Glam Garnet for entering anyway! Now, don't be mean - give players nice scores. Nobody wants a 1-star andy on the team.

The top 3 winners get better prizes, and you can see them once voting is over. You can view previous entries, check out the podium, and even click on the winners to zoom in and admire their decorations! You might also see some generated comments below for extra immersion. "Glow up tbh!"

This shop will have very fancy shmancy or absurd decors we normally wouldn't add into the game. Expect a Glam Feather Boa and unusual applicators like the Green Markings we have added this time! There's a cute shiny scene frame when you vote or win... We'll try to figure out having these shiny frames as something that you can equip, or buy skins of in the future and actually equip them on lion pages! Who knows - maybe some could be won by the top placements or winning themes via achievements - we'll see!

Albino Cub Breeding Challenge Information

This challenge is repeated from last year, so if you already know it from 2019, 2020, 2021, 2022, and 2023, you can skip ahead to the new rewards! :D

All the albino love this month has inspired us to create a community challenge with extra personal goals to achieve!

We give you the Albino Cub Challenge!

Community Goal: breed 2000 total Albino cubs!
Personal Goal: breed 3 Albino cubs!

The challenge began at midnight on December 13th (12am Lioden time)!

Where can I access the information about this challenge?
The Gorilla Enclave will provide all information, as well as an extra small area on the sidebar panel on your layout! We also have an Albino Cub Challenge wiki page dedicated to this challenge.

What are the rewards?
Community Rewards: 5% chance for a Snowflake-based cub to be born to Albino x any parent, 5% chance for a Hoarfrost-based cub to be born to Interstellar x any parent, 5% chance for a Rime-based cub to be born to Orchid x any parent, 5% chance for an Esker-based cub to be born to Reindeer x any parent, and 5% chance for a Gleam-based cub to be born to Dawn x any parent for the rest of December when the 2000 Albino cub goal is hit! The Gorilla Enclave will also ask for more Albino-based cubs for their quests.
Personal Rewards: A special title ("Special Snowflake"), the "Albino Cub Challenge" achievement, a background and mutated Albino Cub decor based on your king's karma at the time of completing the 3 Albino cub goal, a Sculpted Ice Armour decor set, an Albino Dwarf Cub decor, a Hoarfrost Markings applicator, a Rime Markings applicator, an Esker Markings applicator, and a Gleam Markings applicator!

The Gleam base has Black Light Solid Special genetics and is tied to Blue skin.

Factor One: Gleam, Dawn
Factor Two: Gleam, Arctic, Blue Poinsettia, Cotton Candy, Glacial, Ice, Kunzite, Glass

What is the time limit?
The challenge and its in-game rewards end on December 31st 11:59pm Lioden time.
The sooner you guys complete the goal, the longer you can enjoy the in-game rewards, as the 5% chance for a combo-based cub to be born to Dawn + any parent pairing expires on December 31st 11:59pm Lioden time! This means that the only way to breed the Snowflake, Hoarfrost, Rime, Esker, and Gleam bases after the challenge ends is to breed their factor bases together during wet season, or additionally, day or night time.

Of course, the achievement and title you receive are permanent! The background and decor items you receive will also last until their uses are gone, as with all other backgrounds and decors.

Will this repeat next year?
Yes! We will add or replace rewards, change combo bases, etc., but we think the Snowflake base will always be its core, and we may add something fresh as an extra every year.

What are the rewards?
You will only receive specific personal rewards for completing the personal goal, and the background and decor you receive depends upon the karma your king has at the time that you claim your rewards!

What are the karma thresholds for receiving the karma-specific backgrounds and decors?
The karma thresholds are the same for these rewards as they are for your eyes changing in Explore.

Evil: -400 or lower karma
Neutral: between -399 and +399 karma
Good: +400 or higher karma

Earlier Challenge Issues?

Earlier today, players who completed the challenge did not receive Gleam Markings or the Playful Gleam Cub. This has been fixed, and everyone should have the items in their hoard.

This also meant that progress was reset earlier today to fix an issue with the challenge improperly counting cubs bred. If you were impacted by this reset, and you already bred 3 Albino cubs for the challenge but are being asked to breed another 3, please submit a Modbox ticket to have any lost progress fixed!

Upcoming Maintenance

On Monday (16th December), starting around 10am Lioden time, there will be a period of downtime for 2 to 3 hours for scheduled server maintenance.

Art Bug Fixes & Adjustments

* Fixed Interstellar Dust missing for Jaglions
* Fixed Peach Thrashed Unders and Phantom Rosette for Ennedi Vossoko Cub Newborn - files were damaged
* The banners for dynasties, achievements, etc. at the bottom of den pages have received an art rehaul!

Coding Bug Fixes & Adjustments

* The Incorporeal mane colour now shows up in the Lion Wardrobe dropdown. We're still uploading files, so please hold off on reports!
* The Lioden logo has been adjusted when saving wardrobe images.
* The "Visit a random player's territory!" link will no longer take you to an account that is suspended.
* We've found out why some backgrounds and items do not properly show up in the Lion Wardrobe. If you find yourself seeing released decors with a "locked" icon or name, please make sure to hard refresh and clear your cache. We've solved this for now manually on the server side, but we'll work on a long-term automatic solution.
* You can now use the uses: and rotting: filters when selecting a gift.
