My favorite song right now is “take me back to Eden” by Sleep Token . The lyrics are awesome and it just flows so well. This song helps with my anxiety so it hold a lot of meaning to me

I don't remember if I said this one before, but I also suggest Circe by Madeline Miller!! I really do love Miller's writing style, as she's heavily influenced by Greek mythology and some of her biggest inspirations are Homer and Shakespeare. Circe is about one of the minor goddesses in Greek mythology, Circe herself, who is also known as the first 'witch' in Greek mythology due to her powers being turning people into animals. She has a very tragic life, from being neglected in favor of her other siblings, and being seen as 'lesser', yet throughout the book we are shown how she grows — exploring her life and her loves.

Madeline Miller also wrote 'The Song Of Achilles', a popular queer telling that focuses on the relationship of Patroclus and Achilles, beautifully written and equally as tragic, we are told from the perspective of Patroclus and how his life has been impacted by this boy he met. Both books are first person, and the warnings being violence, sexual themes, and brief sexual assault descriptions.

Yallo yallooooo. This is my fourth entry, and I would be very appreciative of any possible Yohimbe barks! :3

And this is about an anime movie I personally enjoy.

It's called A Silent Voice. It's about a deaf girl who was bullied constantly in her younger years of school, and when she grew older she began to have a friendly relationship with one of her past bullies who held extreme resentment toward himself for bullying her.

It's a bittersweet movie for me, as the movie focuses on depression and suicide, something I resonate personally with via myself and other people. But it is extremely beautiful and eye opening, and if you haven't watched it already, please do consider it!

Hmm if it comes to books, I would suggest reading A Dog's Journey by W. Bruce Cameron! If you're looking for something that would make your heart clench and your eyes to shed tears then this is the book for you! The story is pretty heart warming, considering it is a story of a dog reincarnating again and again just to be with his beloved owner. The book's storytelling of a canine companion's loyalty really makes my heart move 3 But if you don't currently have time to read it, that's fine! You can easily watch the movie on Netflix or YouTube! Trust me, it would not disappoint <3

Fifth entry!

Focusing more on film, my favorite movie of all time is the original James Cameron's Avatar from 2009. popularly known as "Avatar with the blue people," it's a sci-fi that focuses on the conflict between colonization and preserving indigenous values. While the movie can come off as somewhat 'white savior' like and it's handling of colonialism can definitely be criticized, I absolutely love the amount of world building that comes with Pandora and the Na'vi. Hell, there is an official language of the Na'vi and the dictionary still gets actively updated! The second movie also recently came out, and the third is in the making, however there are also Avatar games that go even deeper into the world of Pandora.

Show wise, one thing that I surprisingly loved was the show 'shameless'. it's very self explanatory in its title, the content having many raunchy, maturely immature, crazy moments along its 11 seasons. It focuses on the Gallagher family, which consists of 7 children and their deadbeat father, Frank. They're a very dysfunctional bunch, but they also have a very strong solidarity with one another. Despite being simply labeled a comedy, shameless actually handled a lot of topics well when it comes to realistic portrayals, such as mental health and the relationships between the American citizens and the working class. this is, easily, having every content warning besides gore, but it's so dear to my heart!

my favorite movie is CODA (which i just recently discovered) because its probably the most realistic movie about deaf people that i’ve seen in a while. its super good and i recommend it 100%
its about this (hearing) girl and her (deaf) family, all the struggles they deal with, etc. shes torn between leaving them to follow her passion (singing), or staying with her family to make sure they’re okay because nobody else understands them and because they still need her.
