Hello all! I've decided to create my own RL/RLC guide, after seeing some guides are kind of wonky in comparison to the market as it is today. My name is Pango, and I've been playing Lioden for nearly ten years! I own a /ton/ of RLCs and I've owned a few RLs, both frozen and unfrozen, and I've seen the market fluctuate and change a lot when it comes to Raffle Lionesses. This guide is extremely long and extensive, but I think it's the most accurate to what the market looks like now, as of 2025. AcronymsRL: Raffle Lioness RLC: Raffle Lioness Clone Clone: Raffle Lioness Clone IBF: Instant Cub Feather (also known as Instant Birth Feather) NRLC: Near Raffle Lioness Clone Barked/Barks: Yohimbe Barks. Takes away one day of cooldown-- use 20 of these to put a lioness back into heat while reserving her age and natural heats. BO: Breed-only. Can refer to markings, eye color, skin color, mane color, and so-on. Can only be bred on, as the name suggests. GOP: Short for Grain of Paradise, Guarantees two cubs. Scrot(s): Can be short for Buffalo or Lion Scrotum, depending on the context. Buffalo Scrotums guarantees three cubs, while Lion Scrotums gives the mother a 25% chance to pass her mutation onto her cubs, if that mutation is not naturally passable. The only exception is Double Uterus', which have a 5% chance to pass their mutations. G1: A lion with 'unknown' parents; Generation 1 of Heritage. G2: A lion with one or two linkable parents that have 'unknown' grandparents; Generation 2 of Heritage. Anything past G2 follow this trend. So G3 would have linkable grandparents, G4 would have linkable great-grandparents, and so-on. Visual example of Generation: This is my king [queen], Pythoness. She has an 'unknown' family tree. She'd classify as G1. ![]() This is my friend's unnamed Cub. He has two parents, but the rest of his family tree is unknown. He'd classify as a G2. ![]() Quick Search[PART 1] What are Raffle Lionesses? What should I do if I win a Raffle Lioness? >Option 1: Keeping Her ^ I bred a RLC! What should I do? *Selling RLCs 1. Features 3. Age ^User Preferences [PART 3] Final Tips Q&A Thanks & Other Threads So let's get into it! PART ONE START What are Raffle Lionesses (or RLs)?The most important question! There's a comprehensive explanation to Raffle Lionesses on the Wiki, but in essence they're weekly lions that release new, breed-only markings in new slots! They usually have breed-only bases, eye colors, skin colors, mane type and mane colors, but this isn't always the case! A Raffle Lioness may have applicator eyes, for example! They could also have requested slots, which can go for a decent amount, so don't chase those duds yet (more on that later)! There's a new Raffle Lioness up to be impressed every week (they roll and are revealed every, usually 12:00am~ LDT Friday). If you're Dreamboat, you can go to this area and impress them (at the bottom of the screen-- [Me [King Name], you lioness, be mine!] click this--if you're at Dreamboat, you've entered the raffle) at a chance to win! What should I do if I win a Raffle Lioness? Before I say anything, ultimately the lion is yours! You won her fair and square. Do not let anyone pressure you into selling your Raffle Lioness (this includes private trades, which people will send to try and negotiate with you) and remember the block button & report button exists. Do not feel guilty about blocking or reporting anyone who makes you uncomfortable or harasses you over a pixel lion. You are a human being, and you deserve your peace! Option 1: Keeping HerCongratulations! You've won the Raffle Lionesses' heart, and she's now in your pride. But you don't wanna sell her to some bidder, you wanna keep her! What should you do? You could breed her normally, if you'd like. Again, she is your lion. But your best bet would be to use a Crunchy Worm, an item exclusive to the October Event! This item has a 25% chance to clone a lion per litter, not per lion. It doesn't matter how many cubs you have, the chances are the same. Raffle Lioness Clones (or RLCs), can go for a lot of GB depending on the generation (heritage is very important when breeding Raffle Lionesses!) Ideally, if you're going this route, you'd want to breed to a G1 king (so a king with no heritage, both parents would be 'unknown') to have her be the lowest generation possible and Instant Cub Feather (or IBF, can be bought in Oasis for 2GB) her litter so you can get the most heats out of her. Again, this route is completely optional! You do not need to do this at all. You are free to enjoy your lion without the stress of trying to clone her or use her for profit! I got a Raffle Lioness Clone (RLC)! What should I do with her?Congratulations! There's a few things you can do here. You could keep her, orrr... Selling & Pricing RLCsThere's several things to remember when selling RLCs: 1. Rarity. Rarity varies from person to person, but I find the following system to be most accurate: 1-15 Clones: Extremely Rare 16-30 Clones: Rare 30-40 Clones: Uncommon 50+ Clones: Common You will seldom find a Raffle Lioness with over 50 clones in this day and age, but I figure I'd cover all my bases. Typically, the rarer the clone, the more it'll go for. Release, however, has a huge factor in this as well. 2. Release & Supply Wonder why your 'rarer' RLC is going for only 225GB when you check the market? When a Raffle Lioness was released and how many exist/have existed also has a huge factor in how much they'll go for. Let's use a few real examples! On April 30th, 2021 a Bushveld based Raffle Lioness was released. Let's call her Jeb. Say hi to Jeb, everyone! ![]() Now, Jeb has 25-30 living clones; she'd classify as 'Rare.' But you may see users selling her for 200-250GB, maybe 300GB max. Why's that? Jeb used to be a super common Raffle Lioness Clone, but a lot of her line has died out due to her becoming so common. But her price still hasn't gone up, because interest in her has waned due to her being so common in her glory days. Let's look at another example! On October 1st 2021, a Goridhe Raffle Lioness was released. Let's give her a name too, like Tricky. Say hi to Tricky, everyone! ![]() Now, Tricky only has 10 living clones, so she'd classify as Extremely Rare. You'll see clones of her going for 400-500GB! Tricky was a private line, or a line that was only held by one or a few people. Even when she was made public, her line struggled to clone. The nature of her heats kept her value up. So Tricky was able to retain a good amount of her worth, while Jeb wasn't. Let's look at another example. On January 22nd 2021, an Ebony Raffle Lioness was released. You know the drill: her name is Hank. Say hi to Hank, everyone! ![]() Now, Hank has no living clones; she's one of a kind. If the owner decides to come back on, gets a clone, and decides to sell her, that RLC could go for a ton-- over 700GB! Even though Hank was released several years ago, her worth was still retained due to a lack of clones. I'm going to give y'all two more examples, these being more recent. On November 10th 2023, a Maziwa Raffle Lioness was released. Her name is Deimos. Say hi to Deimos! ![]() Deimos has roughly 30 living clones, so she's teetering on Rare and Uncommon; but she won't sell for more than 200GB. That's because, like Jeb, she was super common and her worth wasn't retained! One more example, bear with me... On May 10th 2024, a Ra Raffle Lioness was released. Her name is Sanford. Say hi to Sanford! ![]() Now, Sanford only has 14 living clones, so she'd classify as Extremely Rare. She would go for roughly 550GB+ (maybe even as high as 700GB!~). Sanford wasn't a private line, but her being relatively new makes her price high due to not having a long time to produce clones! I hope this has made why prices are the way they are a little clearer! It's hard to have a good rule of thumb when the circumstances are so varied. The market fluctuates, and this may or may not be accurate in a few months time. I do not plan to upkeep this thread: if you want to check out a thread that is constantly updated and better explains rarity for Raffle Lionesses & their clones, please check out Rot's thread. 3. Demand. Wonder why some clones go for 300GB despite being on the more common side? This is called Demand! Let's take a more recent line (I'll only use one example this time, I promise). On July 1st 2022, a Pulsar Raffle Lioness was released. Let's call her Doc. Say hi to Doc, everyone! ![]() Doc has a whopping 100+ clones! But you'll see her go up for over 300GB, regardless of heritage & her falling under Extremely Common (as of typing this). Why is that? This is called Demand. A RLC with a lot of demand will continue to hold it's value until it's demand decreases. In a year's time, Doc may become less desirable and her price will lower. Demand is extremely important when pricing a RLC. 4. Heritage. Heritage is a huge factor in price: the higher the heritage, the lower it'll sell for. Shorter Heritage is nice to look at, more likely to be clean (no 'This lion has X instance of inbreeding) and easier to keep clean-- lions with pages and pages of heritage are harder to keep clean and gives you less options when studding out. While you may not personally care for heritage, your clients will; so if you plan on selling your RLCs, make sure you stud your RL to the lowest heritage king possible! G2 RLCs sell more than G3 RLCs, for example. Once a lion gets past G7 heritage, the price is as low as it can be in regards to Heritage. A G10 lion would price similarly to a G8 lion due to the heritage moving past the page in both instances. Most sales won't mention heritage if it's past G7. Age. Not an official factor, but it's self explanatory. The less heats a lion has, the more their price will go down. Important: There is no good TLDR for selling/pricing Raffle Lionesses and their clones-- they will often vary depending on the above factors. A G2 (only two parents in heritage) for a recently released Arabica RLC may sell for 700GB, while a G2 for a recently released Ra RLC may sell for 1,000GB+ (both of these use recent, real examples). Cream Genetics are usually the least popular, while Black Genetics seem to be the most popular. A super popular Raffle Lioness may not be neither of these genetics! Pretty Privilege is huge when Raffle Lionesses are involved. Even if your Raffle Lioness is 'less popular,' there's a high chance someone with a niche interest will be interested in her! These are just rough estimates, and may vary depending on demand. A RLC that's the first of it's kind: 750-800GB+ (can even be as high as staring RL sell price!). The more common a clone is, the less it'll go for. This price will drop as the Raffle Lioness produces more clones. A raffle lioness with over 12~ clones may struggle to sell over 600GB, but again, this is not set in stone. If people want her, they will buy her. On average, I'd say that a Raffle Lioness Clone would go for 150-350GB once it's no longer as rare. Rare-ish clones or more popular clones can go for 400-500GB, but anything above that is pushing it. Again, consider Clone Rarity, Release & Supply, Demand and Heritage. You may see clones go up for 600GB~ and sell in a few days despite being more common-- again, the market fluctuates and changes. If it's desired, the price is well worth it. This is not a hard-lined pricing guide, because one cannot exist with how Lioden's market works. Pricing & Selling Raffle Lioness HeatsYou plan on keeping your Raffle Lioness, and you've bred a clone of her already. Hurray! Suddenly, you get a DM from someone asking about your RL and her clone's heat. What do you do? I would like to emphasize the usage of the guide above. The prices I'm going to list below are speculative, and are based off of what is fair, what others price heats at, and so-on. I will explain why I price them the way I do. You have a Raffle Lioness that's currently in heat. You decide to sell this heat as is-- what exactly should you price it at? First, you should require at the very least an IBF, Nesting Materials, and Aging Stones for cubs. This ensures a clean, safe and quick birth, and the Aging Stones get the cubs out of the way. The lion is kept on your account (if anyone asks you to send your RL/C to do a heat, they're trying to scam you), and the person sends you the items they want to use. Apply the items, use their stud of choice (or your own king, if they so desire), and wait until the lioness is pregnant. IBF her (do not chase/kill/reserve any cubs before the person says so), and message the person about it. Depending on how many cubs they want to keep, they'll send you X amount of aging stones for you to use on the cubs. You send the desired cubs their way, and kill the rest (or keep them using your own aging stones, if you plan on doing another heat). Natural HeatsWhen you use a natural heat, that takes away from the lioness' over-all heats. As such, you get less use out of your lion. Additionally, it takes up your time-- you have to rollover for twenty days to get her back into heat. Considering this, Natural Raffle Lioness Heats can go up to 350~GB. I would not price it any higher then this (closer to 450GB may be more preferable, depending on rarity and demand). Consider that the buyer /has/ to make their profit back-- If they manage to sell a clone from their clone for, let's say, 450-500GB, they only make back 100~GB. They would have to sell several clones in order to make back what you made them pay. You may see people say natural Raffle Lioness heats should go for 500GB+; this is due to a fundamental misunderstanding of how the current clone market is, and how Lioden's market works. If it was a Christmas Raffle Lioness Natural heat, again, this would make sense-- with a normal Raffle Lioness, however, I struggle to see this being worth it to most. What if that girl doesn't clone until her last heat? Then that person has to keep the clone they wanted to sell until she clones enough to sell, putting them thousands of GB in the hole. This is Risk VS Reward-- the risk you take must be proportional to the reward you receive. Most importantly, you are both taking a risk here: you are giving a natural heat and risking your time and lion's heat, the heat buyer is risking their funds for a clone. Since you both take a risk, the high price makes sense, but too high of a price may not be worth it to your buyer. You are both already operating at a loss at the beginning of the heat. Barked HeatsThe term 'barked heats' refers to using Yohimbe Barks, an item that by-passes a lion's cooldown. You do not lose any of the lion's natural heats by doing this; you are operating at little loss.* The only thing barked hearts take is your time-- applying them all can be a bit cumbersome. Meanwhile, the person who's buying your heat is offering at a significant loss-- a full set of 20 barks, out of February, can go up to 300GB (12-14GB per bark). Even in season, this can be a costly 40GB-- this doesn't even factor in the Crunchy Worm cost, or any other item they wish to use. The high price you may see on some barked heats (400-500GB+, for example), makes it nearly impossible for your buyer to make their money back. Again, this is rooted in a fundamental misunderstanding of the market and Risk vs Reward. People will buy an expensive barked heat (400GB, for example) if it means getting your line-- and you can choose to do so and make a ton of money. But this is not totally fair to your buyer, who is, again, operating at a major loss. You may make more money, but your buyer probably never will. This is why I would price barked Raffle Lioness heats at 100-235~GB max. This is a fair price, you'll get more buyers, and it properly calculates the Risk vs Reward the user takes in comparison to you. I could understand 300GB for a more desired line, but 375GB+ just isn't fair. Again, Christmas Raffle Lionesses could easily have higher prices due to the addition of being a hybrid, but normal ones? Consider what the user spends and what they'll have to make back with the current market prices. *If you're also breeding RLCs, however, this may be a risk to you (lowering the overall pricing of clones) and thus the high prices justify the means. There are people out there who're willing to pay hundreds of GB for heats! Keep in mind how you price things are based off of Rarity, Release & Supply, Demand, and Heritage. This is not meant to bash or belittle people who sell heats at a high price-- if the lion is desired enough, the price is well worth it to your buyer. This is just a guideline that calculates and explains why a Barked Heat would stay in a certain GB range. You are operating at very little loss, while your buyer is operating at a major loss. PART TWO START Selling RLC HeatsInstead of selling your Raffle Lioness' heat, you decide to sell a heat to one of her clone daughters. What should you price this heat at? What's fair to all parties involved? What's the average? How do you know if you're going too high or too low? Natural Heats As mentioned in Part One, Natural Heats operate at a mutual loss. You lose a natural heat from your lion and at least twenty days worth of rolling over, and the buyer has to pay for your loss in equal measure. But since clones are lower in value in comparison to their parents, there is less loss on both parties. When figuring out clone heat prices, rarity & demand will be the most important factors. If a line is rare enough, Release, Supply, and Heritage will not matter. A good starting point for RLC Natural Heats is 20GB. There is no good maximum set for selling RLC heats, but I would stay under 135GB~ unless the line is rare and/or unspread. Again, this is a rough outline, and may change depending on demand. A clone of a newer line's natural heats may go for a similar price as the mother's (the RL) Natural Heats. I'll list a few pricing examples to help out with pricing! On December 17th 2021, a Udara Raffle Lioness was released to the public. Let's call her Sheriff. Say hi to Sheriff, everyone! ![]() Let's say you have a G6 Clone of Sheriff-- she's in heat, but you don't feel like breeding her/can't afford to breed her. How should you dictate what her natural heat should go for? Let's look at the # of Clones that exist. ![]() There's nearly 50 Clones of this line, so she's near the Common category (like the Bushveld from Part One, she used to be super popular). Let's consider the desirability of this line-- do people line up to buy her? Do you see her often in the Trading Center? By the looks of things, the answer to that is no. But someone may want to buy her heat anyway! Sheriff is G6, and most clones of this line are much longer gen. Let's calculate this worth, starting with a 10GB base price. Common Lineage: +10 (Base Price)GB Generation (G6): +5-6GB Desirability (Low): +0-1GB So, a natural heat of Sheriff's would be roughly 15-17GB. Let's look at a rarer line as a final example! On July 21st 2024, a Cassis Raffle Lioness was released to the public. Let's call her Auditor. Say hi to Auditor, everyone! ![]() Let's say you have a G3 Clone of Auditor, and you decide to sell her heat. Let's figure out how much her natural heat would go for! Let's look at the # of Clones that exist. ![]() There's only 7 clones of this gal! So she'd classify as Extremely Rare. How popular is she? Do people line down the block at a clone chance? By the looks of it, I'd say yes. Her generation is pretty low, so that'll get us some big points too! Let's start with a base of 50GB. Extremely Rare Lineage: +50 (Base Price)GB Generation (G3): +25GB Desirability (High): +50-55GB So Auditor's natural heat would go for 130-135GB. That's a pretty big price difference in comparison to Sheriff! Her line is more desired, she's overall rarer, and her generation is pretty short. Keep in mind what I said in Part One: these prices may fluctuate and change depending on Demand & Rarity. In a few months time, a Cassis RLC heat could be going for 70-80GB instead of 130-135GB! NOTE: This may not reflect the Cassis line holder's current plans for the line. This is just an example. Barked Heats As mentioned in Part One, Barked Heats operate at a high loss for the buyer, and low loss for the seller. Like Barked Heats for Raffle Lionesses, they are typically lower in price then Natural Heats. Let's use Sheriff and Auditor from our Natural Heat example! As previously mentioned, Sheriff's Natural Heat is 15-17GB. But let's say someone wants to use barks-- I would cut Natural Heat prices in half or by 1/3rd, depending on rarity, to get Barked Heat prices. This would reduce the price of the heat to 7-8GB, or 10-12GB respectively. For Auditor, let's use the same logic; instead of being 130-135GB, it would be 87-90GB. I would use the 1/3rd policy here due to the rarity of the Cassis. Lines that only have one or two clones and/or are in extremely high demand may be similar in Barked Pricing as Raffle Lionesses. Lioden's market is flexible, and each person has a different pricing chart. Someone may sell Natural Heats at 100GB, but then sell Barked Heats for 80GB. Another may sell Natural Heats at 150GB and Barked Heats at 100GB-- it honestly depends on the four attributes I listed in Part One. Selling NRLCsYou decided to breed your Raffle Lioness, but you didn't get any clones. Aw man! But some of your cubs inherited markings, eyes, skin color, and so-on from their Raffle Lioness mom. What should you do? You could keep them or chase them all away-- they are your cubs, and the Raffle Lioness is yours. But I would suggest selling these features, as they may be from requested slots! Someone may have been waiting a really long time to see a Raffle Lioness released with that slot, and if you chase it away they'll have to wait for it to be released on another. That could take weeks, months, or even years! I'll link requested slots here again. It's very long to look through, but if you see a requested slot your Raffle Lioness has someone's out there looking for it! Lions with at least 4 RLC traits are considered Near Raffle Lioness Clones, or NRLCs. These can be worth a good amount of SB/GB too! These can be any attribute, but most users focus more on markings. So a fail cub with four of the mother's RLC markings and her eyes would be considered a 5/15 NRLC. This is most accurate for common-uncommon NRLCs. For rarer or extremely rare lines, please reference the 'When do I increase the Price' portion of this section! Even having a base on a NRLC with 5/15 features can bump it's price up by a few GB, depending. Requested Slots & NRLCs are a tad easier to calculate due to them being more common then clones. I'd consider these prices to be pretty accurate! This is most accurate for common to uncommon NRLCs. If you're looking to sell rarer and/or more desired NRLCS (including NRLCs with the base), I'd look at When do I Increase the Price? for more information! Requested Slots : These are certain marking(s) that were requested by users to be put on Raffle Lionesses. I good average for a new/requested slot (one marking) would be 10GB to start. I would check to see if a slot is new or not through the Marking Slot Rarity on the Wiki. I would be careful when it comes to new BO Event Markings, as those can be released via August Studs and Celestial Raffle Lionesses. For the sake of simplicity, NRLCs only refer to a lion's markings unless stated otherwise. 1-5/15 Feature NRLCs : This can range from 150SB minimum to a maximum of 450SB. Mane color, Mane type, Eye color, and skin color can cause prices to range, along with the rarity of the NRLC. For the sake of ease, add 50SB~ to each non-marking feature (excluding base color). 6-10/15 Feature NRLCs : This can range from 450SB minimum to a maximum of 600SB. Mane color, Mane type, Eye color, and skin color can cause prices to range, along with the rarity of the NRLC. For the sake of ease, add 50SB~ to each non-marking feature (excluding base color). 10-13/15 Feature NRLCs : This can range from 600SB minimum to a maximum of 850SB, occasionally breaching 1-5GB. Mane color, Mane type, Eye color, and skin color can cause prices to range, along with the rarity of the NRLC. No sake of ease here, sorry folks! 14/15 Feature NRLCs : This can range from a minimum of 5GB to as much as 40-50GB! Mane color, Mane type, Eye color, and Skin color can cause price to range. No sake of ease here either. When do I increase the Price?Pricing for NRLCs may increase based off of rarity and desire. Occasionally, having the base on a 14/15 NRLC may bump it up to or near the price of the RLC itself! Let's look at a few examples. On July 7th 2023, a Ra Raffle Lioness was released to the public. Let's call her Conductor. Say hi to Conductor, everyone! ![]() Conductor is one of the most common RLCs, as of typing this. This means NRLCs of this line are produced in abundance . Despite this, you may see some NRLCs sell for a few GB. This is because of Demand (reference in Part One). Her price very neatly follows the guidelines I've created. But what if you got a 14/15 NRLC of her with, let's say, Cimmerian base? ![]() This is a breed-only base, which suggests some level of effort. This NRLC is an heir-worthy lion! It can jack up the price to 20GB~. Let's look at another example. On December 15th 2023, the very first Pecora Raffle Lioness was released! Let's call her Stygian. Say hi to Stygian, everyone! ![]() Now her NRLCs are going for the same prices I've listed above. I bring Stygian up because, a few months ago, a NRLC variant of her with the Pecora base was up for sale, only missing the mane type. He was sold for a little under 300GB (I would know-- I'm the buyer!). Why did she go for so much, despite not being a full RLC? The Pecora in question (RL itself) had full breed-only traits: it's eyes, skin, mane type, mane color, markings, and so-on can can only be bred on. This, in addition to Pecora only being achievable via Raffle Lionesses due to being a Raffle Base significantly increased it's worth to what a normal RLC would go for. A NRLC sharing it's RL combo base may not go for as much, but you'll still be able to sell it for a decent amount if it has the base a lot of traits! Let's look at one more example. On August 16th 2024, a Nadir Raffle Lioness was released. Let's call her Deliberator. Say hi to Deliberator everyone! ![]() She is a semi-private line with very little clones (a little under 20!). NRLCs of her line would sell a little above average-- 6-8/15 NRLCs of this line may go for 10-15GB. So rarer/more desired clones' NRLCs would go for more then, let's say, the Ra mentioned earlier in this section. As a final statement, the market can fluctuate and change. Prices are not set in stone, and can vary depending on rarity, demand, supply, etc. Option 2: Selling HerSo, you won the Raffle Lioness. Congrats! Everything I've listed above, however, seems very overwhelming and you'd rather not go through the trouble; you wanna sell her! What should you do? How do you know if you're being scammed or not? What if you decide to sell your Raffle Lioness later in life, or after a few of her heats have passed? Never fear, for this thread is here! Important!Do not let anyone pressure you into selling your Raffle Lioness. You will get Private Trades, Item Messages, and comments on your Comment Box that may pressure you into doing so. Remember that this is your lion, and you won her fair and square, regardless of how long you've been playing. Feel free to use the block button, report button, and Modbox freely for anyone who disrespects you, your time, and the respect you deserve as a human being. You do not deserve any type of threat or stress over pixelated lions. You, your life, and your livelihood comes first before anyone else's wants, especially when it comes to a silly video game. Don't be afraid to stand up to people who do not respect you, your time, or your boundaries. Now that's been said, let's get into it! Selling Raffle LionessesLike with RLCs, there's several things to remember when selling Raffle Lionesses. Demand, Features, and Age are the major factors to consider when selling your Raffle Lioness. 1. Demand. This is the most important thing to consider when selling your Raffle Lioness. Time for more examples! On December 6th 2024, a Serruria Raffle Lioness was released. Let's give her a name, like Phobos. Everyone say hi to Phobos! ![]() When Phobos was up being impressed in the Special Lioness area, offers for her were insane! People were offering an upwards of 8,000GB+ just to have her in their den. While the winner ultimately decided to keep her, the offers for her were very high and they were bombarded with messages, comments, and private trades about selling her. Her demand was very high. Let's look at another example. On December 20th 2024, a Nomad Raffle Lioness was released. She deserves a name too-- how about we call her Gestalt? Say hi to Gestalt, everybody! ![]() When Gestalt was up in the Special Lioness area, she had several offers-- the highest being 1,600GB. Like Phobos' winner, the winner ended up keeping her and not taking any offers. Her demand was moderately low. This doesn't mean she was undesired, but rather the majority of the user base had little interested in her. This is almost a 7,000GB difference in prices! This goes to show how difficult it is to narrow down prices to an exact number-- again, this is called demand. If someone wants it, they're willing to bid high to achieve it! To a buyer who wants the Raffle Lioness, the risk is well worth the reward. 2. Features. This is more-so a minor thing unless the RL is a Christmas Raffle Lioness. The Christmas Raffle Lioness will always be a hybrid (and occasionally, special events will cause hybrid RLs to pop up outside of Christmas. We recently reached 500k+ users, and we were given a special Nun Tigon RL to celebrate). This significantly increases the price you can sell your Raffle Lioness at-- the most recent Christmas Raffle Lioness (the Gleam Jaglion, as of typing this) had offers that went up to 10,000GB! Some mane mutations, like Mane Imperial, may increase the value of your Raffle Lioness to a degree, but Features that drive price up the most would be a Hybrid mutation. Your Raffle Lioness may also have a lower or higher base price based off of BO features-- you know what that means. Example time! On December 3rd 2021, A Squall Raffle Lioness was released. Like everyone else, she needs a name-- let's call her Jorge! Say hi to Jorge everyone! ![]() Let's take a closer look at her! ![]() Oh dear. BO-wise, Jorge isn't doing very well. Let's break it down: Her skin is Blue, which is applicator/can be applied. Her Eyes, Mane Type, and Mane Color are BO, so that's good! What about her markings? Her Slot 4, 5, 7, 9, &10 are all applicator. This leaves us with Slots 1-3, 6, & 8 as Breed-Only. That's 5 slots out of 10! If Jorge was still alive, she wouldn't sell well at all, and interest in her would be pretty low. There's just not much here for someone who would be interested in RLs! Let's look at another example. On December 10th 2021, a Bandit Raffle Lioness was released. Let's call her Church-- say hi to Church, everyone! ![]() Let's take a closer look at her, shall we? ![]() She's doing much better than Jorge! Let's break it down: Her Skin Color, Mane Color, Eye Color, and Mane Type are all BO, so that's amazing! What about her markings? Of her 10 markings, only s10 isn't BO. The rest are! This Raffle Lioness, if she was still alive, would go for a pretty penny (and she did-- sold for over 1,600GB, if my memory serves)! This is typically what Raffle Lioness buyers are looking for. This doesn't mean every buyer is looking for lines like this! Some may find a line pretty, even if there's a total lack of BO! Everyone is different, and everyone has their preferences. 3. Age Let's say you wait to sell your Raffle Lioness until she gets a little older-- you use her heats naturally and you love her, but you're tired of up-keeping her and need GB. Let's set this Raffle Lioness' hypothetical age at 7 years, 3 months. Is she still worth selling? Yes! people would still happily pay for an older Raffle Lioness clone. Not as much as you could've gotten while they were young with all their heats, but still a decent amount. The younger the Raffle Lioness, the more you can get-- the older the Raffle Lioness, the less you'll get. Again, if someone really loves your Raffle Lioness and must have her, they will pay a good price regardless of her age. 800GB is a good starting point for older Raffle Lioness' (starting at age 7y, decreasing the older they get), but this can vary depending on Demand & the Rarity of the line, and can increase or decrease. So if you're on the fence about selling your Raffle Lioness and want the full amount for her, you should probably decide before she turns 3 years old. If you need more time, you could always toss her on your Side Account and not rollover on that account, or pay someone to Freeze her! Freezing is when someone doesn't rollover for days, weeks, months, and rarely years to preserve a lion's age. This is done to preserve lines that're being stubborn about cloning, used to store First Generations Hybrids, and so-on. Just make sure your interaction takes place over Lioden if you're using a stranger as a Freezer! User Preference. This is not listed as an official point because it's so hard to track, but this a pretty solid consensus that ranks the base genetics preferences of the majority of users. Black Genetics > Red Genetics > Gold Genetics > Cream Genetics Black Genetics are the most popular, while Cream Genetics are the least popular. You may struggle to sell heats or even clones from a Cream Raffle Lioness, even if they're newer. That isn't to say there aren't people out there who don't like Cream Genetics (I breed them on my side account, and I'm a huge sucker for Pecora), but it's the least popular overall when compared to the rest of the user-base. Black sells relatively easily, they have a ton of factors and bases, and people breed them the most. You will not struggle to sell any heats or clones of Black Genetics. Same with Red Genetics-- Gold Genetics can be a little iffy, but they're still one of the more popular genetics overall. So, what's a good starting price for selling Raffle Lionesses? The starting price is typically 1,000GB and can increase from there. The Christmas Raffle Lioness (which is a hybrid) can go for well over 6,000GB. Remember that it depends on Demand, Features, and Age. While I didn't list it officially, User Preference is also a pretty big thing too! PART THREE START Final TipsFirst off, thank you so much for reading this far! This was a sorely needed guide-- I still see RL/RLC breeders that've been playing & breeding them for years struggle with pricing RL/RLC heats. I implore you to read the entire thread at least once . Only looking at the prices will not do you any good, as I've stated before, they are bound to increase & decrease. You may end up underpricing or less likely, overpricing lions if you simply look at the prices. I know users on Lioden have a tendency to skim or not read, but I beg you to at least look at examples to understand why you'll see a rarer 9/15 NRLC going for 10-15GB, or a G2 RLC that's the first of it's kind struggling to sell at 1,000GB, despite other G2 RLCs with the same circumstances selling for well above that amount. Items that can be Helpful in RL/RLC Breedings![]() ![]() Additionally she could have a BO eye color, or an eye color you just want her children to have regardless of it's classification! Can be found all-year round in Monkey Business! ![]() ![]() ![]() All of the above items are overwritten by Crunchy Worms. If you use a Gnawrock on the King and only have one cub that's a clone due to a Crunchy Worm, that marking will not pass. Items that Help in NRLC BreedingsThe best way to breed NRLCs is to find a cloned king of the line you're currently breeding. But if that's not possible (or is possible), here's a few items that can help! ![]() ![]() ![]() The above items, especially Ochre Powders, are your best bet for breeding NRLCs, and doubles your chances if the father is also a clone of the same line. Even if you can't increase your Crunchy Worm chances using cub-boosting items, you can still try for NRLCs! Optional ItemsThese items are completely optional to use, but may make your heat more interesting! ![]() ![]() ![]() Dangerous ItemsThese items can be dangerous to your RL/RLC if you don't know what you're getting into! ![]() Circumstantial ItemsThese items are completely useless unless specific criteria is met. ![]() Lion Scrotums are completely useless unless the Raffle Lioness/RLC has a mutation. They can get pretty pricey out of season, so using it on a Raffle Lioness with Overgrown Teeth for example may not be worth it! Mane Imperial, Mane Villious, Mane Succubus, and Mane Noble are the few mutations that will make using this item worth-while (and they must be female to pass on their mutations)! Using a Great Tit will guarantee an all female litter, but those can get pricey too! You may just want to risk using the Lion Scrotum by itself (Great Tits can only be won via Slots!). Do what you want, as long as you know the risks associated with it. There's still a ton of terminology, common mistakes, and misconceptions that aren't directly tied to RL/RLCs but are still pretty major when it comes to breeding them. Here's a long Q&A-- feel free to comment on this thread if you have any questions and don't see 'em below! The Q&A will be regularly updated! Q&AWhat is a MRL/C (Modified Raffle Lioness/Clone)? What's the difference between a NRLC and a MRL/C? A Modified Raffle Lioness Clone (Also known as a Altered Raffle Lioness Clone, or ARLC) is Raffle Lioness Clone that has been intentionally altered by the owner. NRLCs are unintentional clone fails, a by product of heats. MRLCs can have different eye colors, markings, skin colors, and so-on. Typically, if a Raffle Lioness Clone has a marking slot, eye color, etc that isn't desirable, the owner can remove the slot and RMA (Random Marking Applicator) it to a different marking. Alternatively, they may change the eye color or skin color to something else. Example time! On April 30th 2021, a Bush... hey, we know this guy! It's Jeb! Say hi to Jeb again, everybody! ![]() But Jeb looks a little different from the last time we saw her. Let's take a look at her markings, shall we? ![]() Hey, what's that in Slot 7? Instead of the Tier 1 White Luster Marking, she has Auburn Heavy Rosette instead! This slot was removed then RMA'd into a rarer, more desired marking. For some, this increases her value-- for others, it decreases her value. Regardless, she can be changed back into her original form, as Tier 1 markings can be applied using the Marking Applicator in Oasis. Let's look at another example. On March 4th 2022, an Elysian Raffle Lioness was released. Let's call her Skinner. Say hi to Skinner! ![]() Let's look at her markings when she first released... ![]() And now... ![]() Her Slot 7s are different! The original has Lilac Tail Banding, while the current Raffle Lioness has Onyx Zebra. Lilac Tail Banding was removed and Onyx Zebra was RMA'd onto that slot. This decreases her value, as the marking cannot be put back on-- she cannot be converted back into her original form without wasting thousands of GB on RMAs. In your RL/RLC Heat Threat, you don't mention the Reverse Breeding System. Why's that? I don't mention the Reverse Breeding System because it's cumbersome and restrictive. Your buyer can't choose the stud, you have to provide unnecessary items (Toy Bundle and Food Bundle) and you can't do barked heats back to back using this system-- you have to wait for the buyer to age up or chase the cubs. I almost never use it personally, and I've never seen others use it when selling Raffle Lioness/Raffle Lioness Clone heats-- it's just not a good system. If it's between two users that trust each other it usually works out fine, but it can become very clogged and hectic if you have no idea who the buyer is and you're trying to do other heats. On a personal level the system is fine, but on a more professional level it can cause problems. What's a private line? Why do people have private lines? A private line is a Raffle Lioness (and clones) that're restricted to a certain group of people. This can be a clan of people or just a small group of friends. Private lines exist to keep the Raffle Lioness & her clones relatively rare, and keep their value high. This can be a for a short amount of time or a long amount of time. As for why, it can be for a whole bunch of reasons! It can be because of personal sentiment, purely monetary reasons, both, or something else entirely! Private lines are not bad or restrictive, but are a personal choice made by the Raffle Lioness Winner/Buyer. It is their lion to do with what they please, and I urge you to not cast judgement. Clones are not, and never will be, an integral part to the game. They are optional lions that are fun to collect and own, but never necessary. Please respect someone's boundaries and peace if they choose to keep a line private. And who knows-- maybe they'll open up the line after some time has passed! Private lines only become an issue when they don't spread the marking(s) that the Raffle Lioness was made for! That is the entire point of their existence in the game, and it could be an issue if it has a slot that someone was waiting a really long time for. Otherwise, I must emphasize, that Private lines are harmless and nobody is entitled to a lion you won/bought. What is a Semi-private line? What's the difference between a Semi-private line and a Fully Private Line? A Semi-private line is less restrictive then a private line, and can be sold to buyers outside of a close friend/group. However, the buyer is typically bound by some type of contract based on trust. Let's say you buy out a trade for a Raffle Lioness Clone that's relatively new-- in the trade, it states that the line will be Semi-private, and by buying it out you agree to only sell clones if the owner of the original Raffle Lioness (or the primary line holder) approves. This is semi-private, and has become more popular in recent years (private lines are extremely hard to up-keep monetary-wise. Eventually you run out of friends)--- A Private Line is kept amongst close friends or a group of people, and cannot be shared outside of that group. A Semi-private line involves strangers that are kept under an honor code/contract to keep clones (and occasionally high NRLCs) unspread until explicit permission is given by the owner. The clones can range from patrolled males (cannot be sex-changed) to unbred females. The line owner may even go as far as to give set prices for said clones. What are 'Revived' Raffle Lionesses? When does 'Revival' become disrespectful? Revived Raffle Lionesses is a line that has been bred back into creation after the original Raffle Lioness has died without any clones, or if the Raffle Lioness Winner hasn't rolled over in years. Several Raffle Lioness lines have been bred back into existence in this way, and some have even been modified to have more breed-only features that didn't exist when the original Raffle Lioness was produced! Plenty of lines have been revived, and even more are on the way to being revived. So when does revival become disrespectful? If a line is private, or if the owner has only been inactive for a few months, 'reviving' the line is considered extremely disrespectful. In the first scenario, the lion isn't even dead, just private. Recreating private lines out of spite or jealousy is not just distasteful, but a waste of your time-- if the private line is released, you'll have wasted days, weeks, or even months of time on something that is now public. You're better off making your own personal breeding project! I understand the itch to want something, but we can't always get what we want. There's plenty of private lines that I want that I cannot have-- I certainly feel sad over it at times! But it's not my place to try and recreate that lion, out of respect for the winner/buyer and others. As for option two, it's not so much disrespectful as it is a misplaced call-- that person could come back during a popular month with a Raffle Lioness in their territory! If you plan on reviving a line on an inactive account, make sure the user's king name doesn't show up (i.e ['s Pride]). That means they haven't been active in years, and that their king's name was reset. How many traits does a NRLC need to become a NRLC? I would say the NRLC feature begins at least 4 or 5 traits. Anything below that won't count for most. At some point, that lion just happens to share traits with a RL and its line instead of being descendant from them. I don't want to go into too much detail at risk of splitting hairs, but check your NRLC's heritage and look at markings first, then non-marking features second. If it's below 4 or 5, sell it as a normal cub. What are CRLs? How do I know if I've come across one? CRLs or Chased Raffle Lionesses are just that-- Chased Raffle Lioness Clones. There's plenty of reasons why others may chase Raffle Lioness Clones-- the generation is too long, it's accidentally inbred, they can't afford it anymore, or some other reason not listed here! If you think you've got a chased CRL, it should have at least ten markings, and some type of breed-only base-- if that be rare, combo, or a BO special. If you're still unsure, you could check the Raffle Lioness Directory. I recommend you start at 2019 (which is where it leads to), and go on from there. However, there's a user-made tool that makes this a lot easier-- it's called LioRLC, apart of a classic fan-made website, Lioexit! It's made searching for RL traits so much easier. If you have a full clone, LioRLC will pick it up! NOTE: CRL could also refer to Celestial Raffle Lionesses. Please use context clues! Do Raffle Lionesses & their clones go for more in more active months? No. This is a misconception based off of the fact that they may sell better in certain months, but the months themselves do not cause RL/Cs to increase in price-- not directly, at least. You may see people selling more RL/RLCs in February or November-- this has to do with the breeding items you can get in that month and Black Friday respectively. Selling RL/RLCs (typically RLCs) for Heart Shells is easier then selling them for GB because the buyer does not have to pay any real money. Instead, they just need to grind explore and event encounters. The consumer then gets a ton of breeding items they can sell later for lots of GB. For November, Black Friday means people are already going to be spending money to get discounted GB, and they're likely looking to spend it on something expensive, like a Raffle Lioness Clone or a Raffle Lioness. Prices may fluctuate to account for demand, but they will not increase by a significant amount, especially considering that users plan out & freeze lions to sell during opportune times of the month. For example, a Raffle Lioness released November 29th, 2024 only sold for, at most, 600GB-- a G2 Clone was sold for a little over 700GB. You can find these statistics in the Raffle Rarity & Demand Index. Despite being sold during Black Friday/a little after, there was not a major shift in price-- in fact, it went for significantly less then what the average is. This was due to the winner's preference, and is not necessarily poor behavior on the buyer's part. As I've continued to state, There is no good pricing index that you should follow to an exact T. Lioden's market changes, grows, and occasionally collapses-- anyone trying to sell you an exact estimation is misunderstanding Lioden's market. I accidentally used the wrong item/my King as a stud/etc. What should I do?! Modbox!! Submit a ticket immediately regarding your RL/RLC, especially if this is a paid for heat! It's easy to panic under these circumstances, but stay calm! Modbox will fix your issue, even if it takes a few hours. Do not do anything until a Moderator gives you instruction to do so! You may need an admin to go in and fix some things, and if that's the case it may be a long wait. Be patient, and don't try and fix it yourself! You will receive every item back, and your lioness will be put back into heat if she's already been bred. Most importantly, don't beat yourself up over it. Mistakes happen-- Modbox will likely be able to reimburse your buyer, but only if you say something. ![]() Edited on 08/01/25 @ 01:45:17 by Moses ๐ (#95222) |

Should I sell my Raffle Lioness, or should I keep her for profit? Before I say anything, please know that this is ultimately your choice. I will not, nor will I ever try to, convince you to do something you don't want to do in this thread. The point of this thread, as it always will be, is to spread information and lay out options for potential winners & buyers. There are pros and cons to both, and this is ultimately a very loaded question. Depending on the demand of your Raffle Lioness, there is a chance you'll make more money selling her right away instead of selling heats. If you sell, let's say, 180GB for barked heats of your new line, and you're able to sell ten in total. That's 1,800GB-- assuming at least half of them produce clones, you now have five G2 clones out there that are able to produce more of your line. If you freeze her until next February (so a year away), there could be tons of clones out and about that came from just those five successes! There's very little chance you'll be able to sell her heats for that high again-- let's say you decide to sell them this time for 80GB, and you manage to sell five. That's an additional 400GB to total up to 2,200GB. But if someone was offering 3,200GB to buy her outright, your best bet would've been to sell her, but only if monetary gain is your goal. Alternatively, if someone offered you 1,900GB to buy her outright instead of the 3.2k, your best bet was to keep her. This is obviously heavily based on monetary gain and not at all on personal value. Again, do not feel pressured to keep or sell your Raffle Lioness. She is ultimately yours, and you won her fair and square. It's nobody's choice but your own. Why do people Freeze lions during most of February? How do I advertise RL/C heats? Most users freeze their lions until Tier 3 of the Flirt Shop opens, where barks are readily available and can be bought freely. By keeping them frozen, this prevents them from aging and stretches out their lifespans. The best way to advertise RL/C heats is by creating a thread for them! There's plenty of examples out there, and you can even make it fancy using HTML. If you're unsure how desired your RL/C is, make a feeler thread where you ask if anyone would be interested in your line's heat! This can help you figure out pricing for Natural & Barked heats as well, as outlined in Part 1&2. Freezing can also be used if you can't afford to breed your RL/Cs! It can get pretty expensive, especially if you have a good amount. Instead of selling or wasting the heat, it's always okay to freeze them! I got a RL/C with a new marking type! How do I price it? With Latte and Whisper markings being released, I decided to add this section! I meant to add it in the original Q&A section, but it completely slipped my mind. I would price each new marking at 30-40GB, depending on demand. So if you have, let's say, a lion with Latte Roan and Latte Dim and is the second in existence (her and the raffle lioness), you could charge 60-80GB for those slots (or even more, depending on other traits)! I would price RMA'd on slots similarly This is only for new marking types!. For new slots, see the next Q&A! Typically, new marking types will retain their worth for awhile. Even if the new marking type slot becomes more common and less valuable, if a new slot is released with that newer marking type, the price will be similar to 30-40GB. I got a RL/C with a new marking slot! How do I price it? I would price new marking slots at 15-20GB, depending on demand. Unlike new marking types, other markings of this type already exist, just not in that slot. Some people may need that new slot for a project, because they like having rare slots, or some other reason! So while you may not have any interest in the slot personally, someone else might! be sure to use the Marking Slot Rarity Tracker on the wiki, and for extra measure use the Search function. When does a marking slot become common? When is it rare? The Lioden Wiki classifies any marking under 250 lions as rare. However, most users don't consider this the case. To me and many others, any marking below 35-50 lions and owned by only one or two people is considered rare. Once a marking reaches at least 100 lions and is owned by at least 5 other people, I would consider it uncommon and lower the price down to 1/3 of what you bought it at. If you bought a lion with Whisper Crumbling at 35gb for example and the marking spread to at least 99 other lions, you should price it at 10-11GB. Anything above 200 lions could go for 1-3GB, and by 250 lions the markings would be at other normal marking price (so SB). This can vary depending on how desired the markings are, but this is pretty accurate overall to how the marking market works. [Leaving a lot of room for more Q&A slots!] ThanksI would like to thank everyone at the Lioden Conservatory and the Raffle Lioness Fanatics! Hereโs a small tip from a Rlc collector since I donโt think I saw anything about it in the thread under selling heats if there is then this is just delving a little bit deeper into the February freezing thing! If you plan on selling a rlcs barked heats freeze her on your side until February!! (Yeet her to your side and donโt Rollover your side until feb t3 opens), Most people usually buy Rlc heats and rl heats around that time seeing as you can get a set of 20 barks once T3 opens if you wanna advertise her heats just set up a thread for Rlc/RL heats Interest threads also help cause you can see how many people have interest in the raffle lioness line! Hope this helps some and if it was already added to the thread do let me know! I probably didnโt see it if it was in the thread! ๐ itโs 3am here as Iโm typing this out lol Also side note: Rlc/RL breeding can get EXPENSIVE if your not careful and you own a bunch of different Rlc lines, especially if you wanna become a Rlc collector lol ![]() Edited on 08/01/25 @ 01:09:50 by Akuma|RLC collector| (#317175) |

Thank you Akuma! Iโm gonna add your point to the Q&A in the morning! Akumaโs advice saves your RL/Cโs time and prevents them from aging while Tier 3 unlocks. Putting out feelers and seeing the demand they may or may not have can help you price what their natural and barked heats can go for! Additionally, if you so desire, you can keep your RL/Cs frozen and keep up their threads for next yearโs use (I donโt recommend this for RLCs unless theyโre G2, but this could be super beneficial for RLs!). Seconding that RL/C upkeep can get expensive! If you have five RL/Cs you want to clone and Crunchy Worms are currently 23GB in Branches, thatโs 115GB you could be spending on just five girls alone! Freezing them can take some of the pressure off of breeding them until you have all the items required. ![]() |

Added how to price new marking types & slots, and when a marking is and isn't rare. Additionally, we're (me and Rot) are going to do an overhaul to the Raffle Lioness Index to make it more accurate to pricing and rarity (how do you price an older RL that has spread markings but no clones vs a newer RL with new markings and only a few clones? The updated Index will answer that). Probably won't come until Male Raffle Studs are released, but it's something we want to do for sure! ![]() |

i don't know how old this is or if its been gone over and i missed it but, i have a rlc king on my side. hes missing the base and that's it, i was going to see if i could try and breed a cub with it and try to fix the issue but dont know how well that will go so. is there any way for me to do that or is it a lost cause? the big issue is that im pretty sure the base is what made her an rlc, as its a scoundrel (cider skin) base. the rlc is scarlet witch if you want to check. ![]() Edited on 07/02/25 @ 08:47:03 by Atlas....??(he/him) (#284793) |

Hiya, could you link your side account? I'm not super familiar with that line, but breeding back on bases can vary on what the base is, if it has any limitations, etc. ![]() |

Ah, the Scoundrel base! If you prefer to breed back on the base, I'd buy Scoundrel-based cubs with no markings (or similar markings), use Opal Saltlicks and Rock Salts & Powders for each breeding. However, that can get pretty expensive with no results, so you may be better off just saving up and buying a clone. :0 ![]() |
