Hello all! I've decided to create my own RL/RLC guide, after seeing some guides are kind of wonky in comparison to the market as it is today. My name is Pango, and I've been playing Lioden for nearly ten years! I own a /ton/ of RLCs and I've owned a few RLs, both frozen and unfrozen, and I've seen the market fluctuate and change a lot when it comes to Raffle Lionesses. This guide is extremely long and extensive, but I think it's the most accurate to what the market looks like now, as of 2025. AcronymsRL: Raffle Lioness RLC: Raffle Lioness Clone Clone: Raffle Lioness Clone IBF: Instant Cub Feather (also known as Instant Birth Feather) NRLC: Near Raffle Lioness Clone Barked/Barks: Yohimbe Barks. Takes away one day of cooldown-- use 20 of these to put a lioness back into heat while reserving her age and natural heats. BO: Breed-only. Can refer to markings, eye color, skin color, mane color, and so-on. Can only be bred on, as the name suggests. GOP: Short for Grain of Paradise, Guarantees two cubs. Scrot(s): Can be short for Buffalo or Lion Scrotum, depending on the context. Buffalo Scrotums guarantees three cubs, while Lion Scrotums gives the mother a 25% chance to pass her mutation onto her cubs, if that mutation is not naturally passable. The only exception is Double Uterus', which have a 5% chance to pass their mutations. G1: A lion with 'unknown' parents; Generation 1 of Heritage. G2: A lion with one or two linkable parents that have 'unknown' grandparents; Generation 2 of Heritage. Anything past G2 follow this trend. So G3 would have linkable grandparents, G4 would have linkable great-grandparents, and so-on. Visual example of Generation: This is my king [queen], Pythoness. She has an 'unknown' family tree. She'd classify as G1. ![]() This is my friend's unnamed Cub. He has two parents, but the rest of his family tree is unknown. He'd classify as a G2. ![]() Quick Search[PART 1] What are Raffle Lionesses? What should I do if I win a Raffle Lioness? >Option 1: Keeping Her ^ I bred a RLC! What should I do? *Selling RLCs 1. Features 3. Age ^User Preferences [PART 3] Final Tips Q&A Thanks & Other Threads So let's get into it! PART ONE START What are Raffle Lionesses (or RLs)?The most important question! There's a comprehensive explanation to Raffle Lionesses on the Wiki, but in essence they're weekly lions that release new, breed-only markings in new slots! They usually have breed-only bases, eye colors, skin colors, mane type and mane colors, but this isn't always the case! A Raffle Lioness may have applicator eyes, for example! They could also have requested slots, which can go for a decent amount, so don't chase those duds yet (more on that later)! There's a new Raffle Lioness up to be impressed every week (they roll and are revealed every, usually 12:00am~ LDT Friday). If you're Dreamboat, you can go to this area and impress them (at the bottom of the screen-- [Me [King Name], you lioness, be mine!] click this--if you're at Dreamboat, you've entered the raffle) at a chance to win! What should I do if I win a Raffle Lioness? Before I say anything, ultimately the lion is yours! You won her fair and square. Do not let anyone pressure you into selling your Raffle Lioness (this includes private trades, which people will send to try and negotiate with you) and remember the block button & report button exists. Do not feel guilty about blocking or reporting anyone who makes you uncomfortable or harasses you over a pixel lion. You are a human being, and you deserve your peace! Option 1: Keeping HerCongratulations! You've won the Raffle Lionesses' heart, and she's now in your pride. But you don't wanna sell her to some bidder, you wanna keep her! What should you do? You could breed her normally, if you'd like. Again, she is your lion. But your best bet would be to use a Crunchy Worm, an item exclusive to the October Event! This item has a 25% chance to clone a lion per litter, not per lion. It doesn't matter how many cubs you have, the chances are the same. Raffle Lioness Clones (or RLCs), can go for a lot of GB depending on the generation (heritage is very important when breeding Raffle Lionesses!) Ideally, if you're going this route, you'd want to breed to a G1 king (so a king with no heritage, both parents would be 'unknown') to have her be the lowest generation possible and Instant Cub Feather (or IBF, can be bought in Oasis for 2GB) her litter so you can get the most heats out of her. Again, this route is completely optional! You do not need to do this at all. You are free to enjoy your lion without the stress of trying to clone her or use her for profit! I got a Raffle Lioness Clone (RLC)! What should I do with her?Congratulations! There's a few things you can do here. You could keep her, orrr... Selling & Pricing RLCsThere's several things to remember when selling RLCs: 1. Rarity. Rarity varies from person to person, but I find the following system to be most accurate: 1-15 Clones: Extremely Rare 16-30 Clones: Rare 30-40 Clones: Uncommon 50+ Clones: Common You will seldom find a Raffle Lioness with over 50 clones in this day and age, but I figure I'd cover all my bases. Typically, the rarer the clone, the more it'll go for. Release, however, has a huge factor in this as well. 2. Release & Supply Wonder why your 'rarer' RLC is going for only 225GB when you check the market? When a Raffle Lioness was released and how many exist/have existed also has a huge factor in how much they'll go for. Let's use a few real examples! On April 30th, 2021 a Bushveld based Raffle Lioness was released. Let's call her Jeb. Say hi to Jeb, everyone! ![]() Now, Jeb has 25-30 living clones; she'd classify as 'Rare.' But you may see users selling her for 200-250GB, maybe 300GB max. Why's that? Jeb used to be a super common Raffle Lioness Clone, but a lot of her line has died out due to her becoming so common. But her price still hasn't gone up, because interest in her has waned due to her being so common in her glory days. Let's look at another example! On October 1st 2021, a Goridhe Raffle Lioness was released. Let's give her a name too, like Tricky. Say hi to Tricky, everyone! ![]() Now, Tricky only has 10 living clones, so she'd classify as Extremely Rare. You'll see clones of her going for 400-500GB! Tricky was a private line, or a line that was only held by one or a few people. Even when she was made public, her line struggled to clone. The nature of her heats kept her value up. So Tricky was able to retain a good amount of her worth, while Jeb wasn't. Let's look at another example. On January 22nd 2021, an Ebony Raffle Lioness was released. You know the drill: her name is Hank. Say hi to Hank, everyone! ![]() Now, Hank has no living clones; she's one of a kind. If the owner decides to come back on, gets a clone, and decides to sell her, that RLC could go for a ton-- over 700GB! Even though Hank was released several years ago, her worth was still retained due to a lack of clones. I'm going to give y'all two more examples, these being more recent. On November 10th 2023, a Maziwa Raffle Lioness was released. Her name is Deimos. Say hi to Deimos! ![]() Deimos has roughly 30 living clones, so she's teetering on Rare and Uncommon; but she won't sell for more than 200GB. That's because, like Jeb, she was super common and her worth wasn't retained! One more example, bear with me... On May 10th 2024, a Ra Raffle Lioness was released. Her name is Sanford. Say hi to Sanford! ![]() Now, Sanford only has 14 living clones, so she'd classify as Extremely Rare. She would go for roughly 550GB+ (maybe even as high as 700GB!~). Sanford wasn't a private line, but her being relatively new makes her price high due to not having a long time to produce clones! I hope this has made why prices are the way they are a little clearer! It's hard to have a good rule of thumb when the circumstances are so varied. The market fluctuates, and this may or may not be accurate in a few months time. I do not plan to upkeep this thread: if you want to check out a thread that is constantly updated and better explains rarity for Raffle Lionesses & their clones, please check out Rot's thread. 3. Demand. Wonder why some clones go for 300GB despite being on the more common side? This is called Demand! Let's take a more recent line (I'll only use one example this time, I promise). On July 1st 2022, a Pulsar Raffle Lioness was released. Let's call her Doc. Say hi to Doc, everyone! ![]() Doc has a whopping 100+ clones! But you'll see her go up for over 300GB, regardless of heritage & her falling under Extremely Common (as of typing this). Why is that? This is called Demand. A RLC with a lot of demand will continue to hold it's value until it's demand decreases. In a year's time, Doc may become less desirable and her price will lower. Demand is extremely important when pricing a RLC. 4. Heritage. Heritage is a huge factor in price: the higher the heritage, the lower it'll sell for. Shorter Heritage is nice to look at, more likely to be clean (no 'This lion has X instance of inbreeding) and easier to keep clean-- lions with pages and pages of heritage are harder to keep clean and gives you less options when studding out. While you may not personally care for heritage, your clients will; so if you plan on selling your RLCs, make sure you stud your RL to the lowest heritage king possible! G2 RLCs sell more than G3 RLCs, for example. Once a lion gets past G7 heritage, the price is as low as it can be in regards to Heritage. A G10 lion would price similarly to a G8 lion due to the heritage moving past the page in both instances. Most sales won't mention heritage if it's past G7. Age. Not an official factor, but it's self explanatory. The less heats a lion has, the more their price will go down. Important: There is no good TLDR for selling/pricing Raffle Lionesses and their clones-- they will often vary depending on the above factors. A G2 (only two parents in heritage) for a recently released Arabica RLC may sell for 700GB, while a G2 for a recently released Ra RLC may sell for 1,000GB+ (both of these use recent, real examples). Cream Genetics are usually the least popular, while Black Genetics seem to be the most popular. A super popular Raffle Lioness may not be neither of these genetics! Pretty Privilege is huge when Raffle Lionesses are involved. Even if your Raffle Lioness is 'less popular,' there's a high chance someone with a niche interest will be interested in her! These are just rough estimates, and may vary depending on demand. A RLC that's the first of it's kind: 750-800GB+ (can even be as high as staring RL sell price!). The more common a clone is, the less it'll go for. This price will drop as the Raffle Lioness produces more clones. A raffle lioness with over 12~ clones may struggle to sell over 600GB, but again, this is not set in stone. If people want her, they will buy her. On average, I'd say that a Raffle Lioness Clone would go for 150-350GB once it's no longer as rare. Rare-ish clones or more popular clones can go for 400-500GB, but anything above that is pushing it. Again, consider Clone Rarity, Release & Supply, Demand and Heritage. You may see clones go up for 600GB~ and sell in a few days despite being more common-- again, the market fluctuates and changes. If it's desired, the price is well worth it. This is not a hard-lined pricing guide, because one cannot exist with how Lioden's market works. Pricing & Selling Raffle Lioness HeatsYou plan on keeping your Raffle Lioness, and you've bred a clone of her already. Hurray! Suddenly, you get a DM from someone asking about your RL and her clone's heat. What do you do? I would like to emphasize the usage of the guide above. The prices I'm going to list below are speculative, and are based off of what is fair, what others price heats at, and so-on. I will explain why I price them the way I do. You have a Raffle Lioness that's currently in heat. You decide to sell this heat as is-- what exactly should you price it at? First, you should require at the very least an IBF, Nesting Materials, and Aging Stones for cubs. This ensures a clean, safe and quick birth, and the Aging Stones get the cubs out of the way. The lion is kept on your account (if anyone asks you to send your RL/C to do a heat, they're trying to scam you), and the person sends you the items they want to use. Apply the items, use their stud of choice (or your own king, if they so desire), and wait until the lioness is pregnant. IBF her (do not chase/kill/reserve any cubs before the person says so), and message the person about it. Depending on how many cubs they want to keep, they'll send you X amount of aging stones for you to use on the cubs. You send the desired cubs their way, and kill the rest (or keep them using your own aging stones, if you plan on doing another heat). Natural HeatsWhen you use a natural heat, that takes away from the lioness' over-all heats. As such, you get less use out of your lion. Additionally, it takes up your time-- you have to rollover for twenty days to get her back into heat. Considering this, Natural Raffle Lioness Heats can go up to 350~GB. I would not price it any higher then this (closer to 450GB may be more preferable, depending on rarity and demand). Consider that the buyer /has/ to make their profit back-- If they manage to sell a clone from their clone for, let's say, 450-500GB, they only make back 100~GB. They would have to sell several clones in order to make back what you made them pay. You may see people say natural Raffle Lioness heats should go for 500GB+; this is due to a fundamental misunderstanding of how the current clone market is, and how Lioden's market works. If it was a Christmas Raffle Lioness Natural heat, again, this would make sense-- with a normal Raffle Lioness, however, I struggle to see this being worth it to most. What if that girl doesn't clone until her last heat? Then that person has to keep the clone they wanted to sell until she clones enough to sell, putting them thousands of GB in the hole. This is Risk VS Reward-- the risk you take must be proportional to the reward you receive. Most importantly, you are both taking a risk here: you are giving a natural heat and risking your time and lion's heat, the heat buyer is risking their funds for a clone. Since you both take a risk, the high price makes sense, but too high of a price may not be worth it to your buyer. You are both already operating at a loss at the beginning of the heat. Barked HeatsThe term 'barked heats' refers to using Yohimbe Barks, an item that by-passes a lion's cooldown. You do not lose any of the lion's natural heats by doing this; you are operating at little loss.* The only thing barked hearts take is your time-- applying them all can be a bit cumbersome. Meanwhile, the person who's buying your heat is offering at a significant loss-- a full set of 20 barks, out of February, can go up to 300GB (12-14GB per bark). Even in season, this can be a costly 40GB-- this doesn't even factor in the Crunchy Worm cost, or any other item they wish to use. The high price you may see on some barked heats (400-500GB+, for example), makes it nearly impossible for your buyer to make their money back. Again, this is rooted in a fundamental misunderstanding of the market and Risk vs Reward. People will buy an expensive barked heat (400GB, for example) if it means getting your line-- and you can choose to do so and make a ton of money. But this is not totally fair to your buyer, who is, again, operating at a major loss. You may make more money, but your buyer probably never will. This is why I would price barked Raffle Lioness heats at 100-235~GB max. This is a fair price, you'll get more buyers, and it properly calculates the Risk vs Reward the user takes in comparison to you. I could understand 300GB for a more desired line, but 375GB+ just isn't fair. Again, Christmas Raffle Lionesses could easily have higher prices due to the addition of being a hybrid, but normal ones? Consider what the user spends and what they'll have to make back with the current market prices. *If you're also breeding RLCs, however, this may be a risk to you (lowering the overall pricing of clones) and thus the high prices justify the means. There are people out there who're willing to pay hundreds of GB for heats! Keep in mind how you price things are based off of Rarity, Release & Supply, Demand, and Heritage. This is not meant to bash or belittle people who sell heats at a high price-- if the lion is desired enough, the price is well worth it to your buyer. This is just a guideline that calculates and explains why a Barked Heat would stay in a certain GB range. You are operating at very little loss, while your buyer is operating at a major loss.
