Stonepaw padded into camp, a fish dangling from his jaws. He hissed softly under his breath. Now his paws were wet again. And the wet fish was dripping on his chest. Great, he thought, now my pelt wil stick onto my body again and it probably won't dry anytime soon. I'm on another hunting patrol at sun-high. Stonepaw trew the fish on the fresh-kill pile and looked around to see if he could hang out with any of the other apprentices until his next patrol.

(I really hope I'm doing this right but this feels fine lol)

Coyotepaw flicked her tail irritated. She hated losing training matches, especially if it’s to one of her cousins. Now she is never going to hear the end of it. „Don’t beat yourself up too much about it, everyone looses sometimes.“, said Lichenfrost, her mentor. He continued, when she didn’t reply: „Battle training is over, let’s go back to camp.“ They were silent on the the way back to camp. Her mind was still at the lost training match and what she could do better next time. I just have to prove myself, when they have to stop taunting me., she thought. Her cousins Alderpaw and Fernpaw had always taunted her about her size and how weak she was ever since they were little kits. She had hoped things would be better when they became apprentices, but it just stayed the same. One day, then I’m deputy, I’ll show them what I’m capable of. She knew becoming deputy was a big ambition and she wasn’t at all sure if she could make it, but she figured that this is the best way to prove herself to everyone. “Go, grab something from the fresh-kill pile and eat. We’re on a hunting patrol later today.” Lichenfrost said when they arrived at camp. She only nodded and headed straight to the fresh-kill pile to grab a fish.

Stonepaw watched Coyotepaw approach the fresh-kill pile, wondering if he should try making a chat with her. She's quite harsh sometimes, maybe it's a bad idea. Stonepaw sighed, and he started to groom his chest. He stank of fish and was wet. IF he was going to talk to ANYONE, he had to look less like a dirty kit. As Coyotepaw finally was at the fresh-kill pile, Stonepaw was quite clean and he decided to just take a shot at talking to her. It's not like anyone else likes me better. I might as well just try making friends with someone I spend time training with. Mentally prepared, he took a deep breath and said: "Hi, you all right?"
