Golden Rose InstituteGradesFreshman - Age: 14 - 15 Sophomore - Age: 15 - 16 Junior - Age: 16 -17 Senior - Age: 17 -18 LoreFounded in 1802 by Dr. Edwin Ashford, Golden Rose Institute began as a refuge for society’s outcasts. Over time, it became a place where students could explore their talents and identities free from judgment. Today, the school welcomes students of all backgrounds, continuing its legacy. While it seems to be a kind and inviting place on the outside, it may have more thorns than are seen. PlotA new school year is starting. This year, a lot of kids have moved from all over the world, and the teachers are overwhelmed. As the new year begins, tensions rise as the influx of students from around the world brings both excitement and unease. Amid the chaos, strange events and hidden secrets surrounding the institute begin to surface, pushing some students to uncover the truth about its dark past. Rules1. Show respect. 2. Do not spam (Here or OOC). 3. Each reply must be at least three words. 4. Don't become overpowering. 5. Hate the OC, not the person. 6. Don't make the rp all about you/your OC. 7. Nothing NSFW. 8. Do not steal OCs or RP roles. 9. You may have up to TWO characters total. (I will have NPCs that anyone can interact with as long as (1) you follow their personalities, (2) they are only in one place at a time, and (3) you must have already met the character at least once). 10. As Jackson navigated the bustling hallway, he found himself lost in thought, grumbling softly about the unexpected news from Dr. Blackwood. Distracted, he accidentally bumped into two juniors exiting a classroom—one of whom he recognized as Frankie, a friend of Roy and Ivy. The other student, unfamiliar to him. Feeling that his day had already taken an unexpected turn, Jackson decided to seize the moment. He offered a tentative smile and said, “Hey, I’m Jackson. Francesca Willems Francesca was stopped abruptly in her footsteps by a sudden greeting from a senior she didn't quite recognize. "Oh... um, hi, Jackson!" She greeted him shyly, tilting her head downwards so as to hide most of her face. Jackson rubbed the back of his neck, catching both Frankie and her friend by surprise. “Hey, sorry about catching you guys off guard like that,” he began, offering a sheepish smile. “I was actually supposed to be in this class with you, but there was a mix-up with my credits from my old school.” He sighed, glancing down the hallway. “Turns out, I don’t have enough credits to be a senior here, so they’ve moved me back to junior year.” He chuckled dryly, trying to mask his frustration. “Feels like I’m starting the year all over again.” 0 players like this post! As Jackson talked to Frankie and her friend, who introduced herself as Quinn, he felt an unexpected wave of relief wash over him. Someone actually seemed to understand how frustrating this whole situation was. Frankie nodded along sympathetically as he explained the mess with his credits, while Quinn chimed in with her own irritation about how the school seemed to handle transfers poorly. At least I’m not the only one who thinks this is ridiculous, Jackson thought, his shoulders easing from their usual tension. Maybe starting over here wouldn’t be as bad as he thought, especially if there were people like Frankie and Quinn around to make him feel a bit more grounded. “You would think the would prioritize transfers. However in their defense I was kind of late to transfer over, I’m kind of the last thought when it comes to anything with my family so they forgot to enroll until the last day.” 0 players like this post!
