Golden Rose InstituteGradesFreshman - Age: 14 - 15 Sophomore - Age: 15 - 16 Junior - Age: 16 -17 Senior - Age: 17 -18 LoreFounded in 1802 by Dr. Edwin Ashford, Golden Rose Institute began as a refuge for society’s outcasts. Over time, it became a place where students could explore their talents and identities free from judgment. Today, the school welcomes students of all backgrounds, continuing its legacy. While it seems to be a kind and inviting place on the outside, it may have more thorns than are seen. PlotA new school year is starting. This year, a lot of kids have moved from all over the world, and the teachers are overwhelmed. As the new year begins, tensions rise as the influx of students from around the world brings both excitement and unease. Amid the chaos, strange events and hidden secrets surrounding the institute begin to surface, pushing some students to uncover the truth about its dark past. Rules1. Show respect. 2. Do not spam (Here or OOC). 3. Each reply must be at least three words. 4. Don't become overpowering. 5. Hate the OC, not the person. 6. Don't make the rp all about you/your OC. 7. Nothing NSFW. 8. (I will have NPCs that anyone can interact with as long as (1) you follow their personalities, (2) they are only in one place at a time, and (3) you must have already met the character at least once). 10. Jackson was caught off guard when Gia squared her shoulders and shot back at him, her voice steady and firm. For a moment, Jackson froze, the tension thick in the air between them. His instinct was to push back, to deflect the confrontation and walk away, but something about her unwavering gaze forced him to stop and think. He exhaled deeply, rubbing the back of his neck as he muttered, “You’re right. I shouldn’t have snapped like that. I’m sorry.” His voice softened, and he looked away, focusing on the floor as he continued. “I just… I don’t like it when it feels like someone’s stepping on someone else, you know? Like they’re not even thinking about how the other person feels. I’ve had to deal with that a lot growing up, and it sucks.” He shrugged, the weight of the admission sitting heavily on his chest. “I guess I’ve got a bad habit of letting it get to me.” He sighed, glancing at the restroom door again. “I didn’t mean to take it out on you. I just want to make sure Frankie’s okay, and I felt like…” He trailed off, shaking his head. “Never mind. Thanks for trying to help, but sometimes people just need space.” 0 players like this post! As Gia spoke, Jackson listened, his shoulders sagging slightly under the weight of her words. She wasn’t wrong—she was just trying to help in her own way, and he had been too quick to push her aside. He shook his head, more at himself than at her, a quiet acknowledgment of her point. Maybe I’m the one not considering feelings here, he thought grimly. His focus flicked between Gia and the restroom where Frankie remained talking with Quinn. “Frankie,” he called softly, his voice laced with concern. “Do you need anything? Just let me know, okay?” Turning back to Gia, he sighed, his expression softening. “I’m sorry again,” he said, his voice quieter now, almost apologetic in its tone. “Today’s just been… a lot. I didn’t mean to take it out on you. I shouldn’t have snapped.” He rubbed the back of his neck, feeling the tension still coiled in his chest but unwilling to let it spill over again. “Thanks for sticking around.
