Name: Roy Sheppard

Gender: Male
Grade: Senior
Appearance: A tall, built 6'9 guy, poofy brown hair that is medium lengthed (Long enough to put in a pony tail but not too short. Kinda like a NEAT wolf cut, not one of those curly short wolf cuts), sharp but alluring facial features, piercing blue eyes, and stern look on his face which is what he's seen or associated with most of the time.
Clothing: Usually wears "sophisticated" outfits. (Ex: A blue button up shirt, light tan pants, sunglasses for outside, and some cowboy boots).
Personality: A reserved guy who is extremely rude and brutally honest when he can't hold back silence anymore or when spoken too. He is slightly intimidating, and refuses to accept defeat or that he was wrong in any way. A bit cocky about himself internally.
Traits: A ignorant jerk.
Strengths: Intelligent person who catches onto things quickly, healthy physical wise, sometimes manipulative
Weaknesses: When bonded to someone (a partner, friend, ext.) he can get vulnerable and too comfortable with the person.
Backstory: Roy Sheppard was born in Colorado, a suburb area with a well off family who have high expectations for him. He has history with a 18u club volleyball team but unfortunately had to quit due to fathers disapproval. He now focuses on school and keeping in shape for college/university.
Goals: End his year with straight A's, and a scholarship to a university. He plans to drift into the medical field, most likely some sort of surgeon. A personal goal he doesn't really realize yet is to get his first partner.
Notes: Please don't take my character to heart, whatever he says I don't mean at all! Also just a fun fact, my character was born on October 6, 2006. He also comes with a deep, western accent. YEHAW. Part of "The Luminaries" with a Version 2 Senior schedule.

Appearance: 5'9" | Skin: Medium with a light golden undertone | Hair: Wavy, dark chestnut hair that falls just past her shoulders, often worn down or in a loose braid | Eyes: Bright hazel with flecks of gold, expressive and often conveying curiosity | Notable Features: A small, heart-shaped birthmark on the back of her left shoulder; soft, full lips, a scar down her left arm from her shoulder to wrist that her mother caused | Build: Tall and slender, with an athletic, lean frame. She carries herself with a graceful yet confident posture, though there’s often a subtle air of quiet shyness about her.

Personality: Ivy is intense, guarded, and has a rebellious streak. She resents her mother’s authority and the pressure of living in her shadow. She’s not interested in fitting into the “perfect” image her mother projects. Ivy is intelligent and capable, but she’s deeply distrustful of others, especially adults, because she feels let down by her own family. She’s fiercely independent, though it often isolates her. Ivy has a deep anger inside, which she channels into sarcasm, sharp words, and distancing herself from people. Despite her anger, she feels emotionally disconnected, as though her feelings are numb or buried under layers of resentment.

Backstory: Ivy’s relationship with her mother, Dr. Veronica Blackwood, is strained to the breaking point. Growing up, Ivy was constantly compared to her mother’s perfect, composed image. Veronica’s high expectations and emotional distance created a cold, suffocating environment. After an emotionally traumatic event that Ivy blames on her mother’s neglect, she started pulling away. Ivy feels abandoned and unseen by Veronica, who’s more focused on her career than her daughter’s needs. When she is around, she hurts Ivy, using punches as 'discipline.' Ivy resents being pushed into the mold of the “perfect” student and feels like she’s living under a microscope. Her anger toward her mother grows each day, but she’s too proud to let anyone see the hurt beneath her tough exterior.
Goals: To escape her mother’s influence and find her own path, free of expectations | To prove to herself that she can succeed without her mother’s help or approval | To uncover secrets about the school and her family’s past, hoping to find answers about her own identity | To break free from her emotional numbness and confront her anger and pain
Notes: Ivy is a loner, and she keeps a lot of things to herself. She has an intense need for control but feels lost when it comes to dealing with her emotions. She finds solace in physical activities like running, which helps her channel her anger and frustration. Despite her outwardly tough demeanor, there are moments where her emotional walls crack, but she quickly rebuilds them. Ivy is determined not to be anyone's “project” and refuses to conform to the expectations placed on her. Ivy draws to release stress. She likes to draw people around her when she doesn't want to talk to them.

Name: Myles Romanos

Appearance: A slim but athletic 5'8 man with naturally platinum blonde hair that he keeps around mid-back length, his eyes are dark brown, and his skin is fair and cool-toned. He has almond shaped eyes and a soft smile, often accompanying a calm expression of neutrality.
Clothing: Usually dark and mostly put together. A black dress shirt tucked into dark brown pants, paired with black combat boots, for example.
Personality: A kind and caring guy who really just wants to help people, he has a calm attitude towards stress and tends to react maturely to situations. He's independent and introverted, but open to helping and communicating with others. His warm and gentle demeanor make him almost fatherly. He is hardworking and tries his best to motivate others to be as well. To authority figures, he's respectful but only if given just treatment. All of his manners and calm can fly out the window if he suspects someone is trying to hurt those he cares about.
Traits: SKIP
Strengths: Even-tempered; in most situations, Myles remains calm, cool, and collected. Protective; despite his polite principles, he isn't a pushover and will protect those he cares for. Fatherly; a protector and caring individual, he is often a beacon of safety and warmth amongst others.
Weaknesses: Too nice; sometimes he can be too nice and get taken advantage of. Hates asking for help; he feels like a burden when he needs his help. Separation anxiety; once attatched to someone, he finds it hard to leave.
Backstory: Myles was raised in a wealthy family, and always wanted to be psychologist since he learned of what came with the variety of occupations revolving around it. He had a little sister, who sadly passed away and left him with depression and separation anxiety.
Goals: Graduate with near perfect grades, help those who need it, make friends.
Notes: His sister died of lung cancer and his family is emotionally absent but they fund everything for him.

Name: Jackson “Jay” Wolfe

Appearance:
- Jackson is an undeniably tall fellow, reaching a total height of 6’3”. His short curly chocolate colored hair is seemingly always sleek and well groomed. A decent amount of stubble covers the jawline and upper lip, trimmed and neat. He strikes a rather regal figure with an angular jawline, defined cheekbones, a nose that rounds out near the tip and dark, almond-shaped eyes, nearly as rich as his hair. His build is lean and muscled, neither scrawny nor bulky. His skin tone is light tan, a very faint dusting of freckles scattered over his cheeks and nose.
Clothing:
- He tends to dress in various shades of black, neutrals and white, loose fitting shirts paired with either jeans that are tighter than most other guys wear them, and brown or black boots.
Personality:
- Perhaps his greatest strength, or his weakest, Jackson is a very driven and focused individual. He exudes a sense of calm and neutrality, but this is little more than an extraordinarily well-maintained facade. Once his mind is set on something there is no changing it. He’ll keep pushing forward until whatever ambitions he may be pursuing are either accomplished or else no longer relevant. He’s a passionate, but reserved individual. His natural charisma may be mistaken for being flirtatious, but more often than not he’s only trying to be friendly. On the occasion, he actually is flirting it’s unmistakable as he isn’t shy and is known for being straightforward. While not quick to resort to violence, he has a fuse difficult to put out once ignited. Whether in regard to true friends or a future lover he’s undyingly devoted, despite some finding him flaky and unreliable. One of his worst traits is his predisposition to jealousy. While both confident and self-assured, he doesn’t take well to anything or anyone he perceives as a threat to his relationships. He doesn’t hide his displeasure well in such cases and things can get ugly if not addressed in the early stages.

Backstory:
- Jackson grew up like most children in the small town he called home. He was doted on by his parents as a young boy, was given anything he yearned for. However, at the young age of 5 years old, Jackson’s parents were taken from him an a tragic car accident and the life he had known vanished. Following the loss, he was ushered into a the home of his distant aunt and uncle whom he had never met before. After trying to make things work for a few years, Jackson was dropped at a child services center with a note that read, Forgive us, Jackson. He stayed in the adoption center for nearly 3 years following this ordeal. He was adopted by, what he called, a the Court Couple. His adopted mother, Carley Hawthorn, was beginning her career as a judge. His adopted father, Thomas Hawthorn, was beginning to make his name as a notorious prosecutor. The two had chosen to adopt Jackson after dealing with years of infertility, landing them in a position of adoption to start their family. He became the center of their world and seemed to be settling into a safe life once more. Three years later (when Jackson was 13), his adoptive mother, Carley, was finally able to get pregnant, and gave birth to twin girls, naming them Gabriella, “Gabby” and Rue. After that, Jackson’s world seemed to turn upside down. He’s spent the years that followed in his siblings shadow, as the spotlight he once consumed in his adoptive parent’s lives now shown on his two younger sisters. Since their birth, in the five years that have now passed, Jackson has become comfortable with being on his own, reserved to his room at home and dreaming of his future, one of unwavering belonging.

A rather short, pale-skinned individual with a sylphlike physique. She has large, blue doe-shaped orbs with jet-black eyelashes layered thinly upon her eyelids. Her natural hair color is a bright, honey-brown, however she constantly box-dyes it black to suit her gothic fashion style. Frannie's hair sits a few inches above her shoulders, and looks pretty good for it being done by hers truly. She tends to stay extremely pale all-year long, equipping a parasol and lathering on sunscreen on the particularly warmer days of the season. Francesca has 3 lobe piercings, 1 conch piercing on each ear, double helix on each ear, a septum piercing, as well as a snake bites piercing. They don't necessarily care too much about what others think about their appearance.
Clothing:
Their fashion style is a slight mixture between traditional and mallgoth, but mostly traditional. On lazier days, she can be seen wearing black, loose-fitting sweats, a black band tee, silver jewelry, and black vans. However, she can mostly be seen donned in traditional goth apparel. (Tops, corsets, belts with the ankh symbol on them, layering with tights, etc.)

If I'm going to be real, I absolutely suck at describing one's personalities so I'll just list her traits.

Backstory:
Francesca was raised by her mother, as her father was basically completely absent in her life, whether he was working or sneaking away with some other woman that wasn't her mom. Her mom had always had an inkling that her father wasn't completely loyal in the relationship, and one day, took Francesca and booked it to a completely different state where she started a completely new life for her and her daughter. Eventually, Francesca's parents made their divorce official, but that occurred a while later after they finally settled. Francesca's mother scored a great job as a real estate agent, and ending up re-marrying to a new man who had an amazing, well-paying job as well. All was going well in Francesca's life until her mother suddenly passed from an unknown reason, and to this day, no one really knows how she died. Doctors say it could've been a heart attack or something along those lines, but either way, it has left Francesca to turn into a totally new person -- quiet, reserved, not very social .. and very depressed. Her stepfather has done everything he can to support her, even sending her away to the institute to be around other people in hopes to distract her from her mother's abrupt death.

Goals:
To graduate and to go to university/college in order to be a psych nurse, as well as maybe have a romantic partner and some new companions.. if she ends up opening up a little bit to the public.

Name: Quinn Richardson

Appearance: Quinn stands at about 5’5 she has hazel eyes, her skin is a pale color( though it gets tan since she likes to spend time outside reading and studying animals) she has long black hair going down to about the middle of her back (though she’s thought about dying the tips dark blue). She is quite slim and has nose ring and two piercings in her ears.
Clothing: Quinn tends to wear blue jeans, t shirts and converse or vans. She tends to wear dark blue, purple and even sometimes black shirts. She likes to wear bracelets, rings and necklaces.
Personality: Quinn is quite shy and introverted but can become a real chatter box when she becomes friends with someone. She is quite stubborn and tries to do things on her own never really admitting she needs help. Quinn can be very respectful of those in charge or her, not so much to her peers though she tries. She always makes an effort to be on time to classes, do work and be on time to any plans she may have had. When Quinn says she’ll get something done she will, she will see to it that she can get it done as soon as she can and get answers as soon as possible. Though her drive to study and read books, and do her other hobbies will sometimes get in the way of making friends or spending time with them.
Traits: hard headed/stubborn, responsible, respectful of higher ups (meaning adults/teachers), dependable, introverted
Strengths: Quinn is quite smart, while she’s not the best at math, history has always intrigued her. She tends to be very observant of others due to her shyness.
Weaknesses: Quinn can be quick to be snappy when someone is annoying her, even if they aren’t meaning too. She can get distracted very easily as well.
Backstory: Quinn grew up with a single father in Texas , her mother passed when she was very young due to a car accident. Her father was a very hard worker who wanted Quinn to follow in his footsteps of being a lawyer. However Quinn was more interested in animals and animal health. While her father had high expectations of her, he loved her very dearly and she knew that which is what possibly pushed her to become as much of a hard worker as he was. (Might add more later)
Goals: to graduate with A’s or the lowest B’s. To go to college/university and possibly become a veterinarian. To make as many friends as she can, and to possibly find a romantic relationship.

Name: Charlotte Elstorm (Charlie for short)

Age: 17

Gender: female

Grade: Senior (perhaps?)

Appearance: Charlotte is about 5’7 ft tall, with long, slightly curly brown hair with dyed purple streaks. She has heterochromia – one of her eyes is blue, the other is greenish-brown.

Clothing: She likes to wear either medieval clothes – a corset, kind of handwraps, a skirt or trousers with a blouse – or simple casual clothes when she doesn’t want to stand out in the crowd. She has one piece of jewelry which she always carries with her – the Norse rune Ansuz.

Personality: You might find Charlie naïve – but don’t let your eyes and mind fool you! Charlotte is a hard-working person, and while she might have trouble communicating with people, she senses danger from far away. She’s wary most of the time, but if she makes sure you pose no threat, you might become friends… Elstorm tries hard to be respectful for everyone, but if someone’s calling her out, she’ll give them two chances and burn them down to ash on the third try.

Strengths: she has almost photographic memory, great thinking and problem solving.
Weaknesses: she hardly gets along with bad-tempered people (though if someone caught her eye, she might try and calm them down), has trouble understanding signs as well).

Backstory: Well, her parents must’ve had the best day naming their kid such a typical French name… But she was not ordinary by all means. At home she was called “Sherlock girl”, because that mind of hers worked incredibly fast for a kid. Her parents even thought she might have Asperger’s, but the doctors couldn’t diagnose her with any syndromes. She was bullied in primary school most of the time, partly because of the French name and half-french heritage, partly because of her thinking. But Charlie didn’t pay any attention to it. Despite the challenges she faced, she remains a calm, kind-hearted soul. She didn’t have many friends nor in the primary school nor later when her parents decided it’s time for her to leave the toxic environment. Charlie sees the Golden Rose Institute as a chance to prove her worth without being a know-it-all – she really tries not to be a smartass, though it’s hard.

Goals: To finish the institute with A’s. She doesn’t know what field she’ll be in or what university, she thinks there is plenty of time yet. She wants to make friends as well.

Notes: Charlotte is mostly alone, but is really happy if someone keeps her company. Writing is her passion and she likes horses and dogs the most. She’s a huge geek for mythology, both Greek and Norse, and has studied Hungarian from childhood. (Knows 4 languages – English, French, Hungarian and Russian)

Name: Gia Doll

Age: 17

Gender: Female

Grade: Senior

Appearance: A 6 foot girl with an hour glass shaped body due to her dedication to sports and health. Long, layered blond hair with a soft but beautiful appearance. Gia has a set of bright blue eyes and round lips that are usually coated in a layer of lip-gloss. Gia also comes with long natural eyelashes to add to her outdone appearance. Some days her hair will be up in a pony-tail.

Clothing: She tends to wear sport clothing. Most the time she is seen in spandex from her club volleyball training early in the morning, a tight short sleeved shirt, a necklace with a cross, and a pair of white shoes.

Personality: She is calm on the outside but a bright fireball on the inside. She tends to be a little passive aggressive with other girls, which makes her enjoy being more dominant than them. When around people she finds interesting she tends to be more open and flirtatious depending on the type of person she's talking to.

Traits: Pridefull: An excessively high opinion of herself. Selfish: Lacks consideration for other people. Bright: Intelligent and quick-witted.

Strengths: Has a high vertical jump, high IQ, extremely responsible when it comes to balancing her sport and school, a perfectionist so she must have a better grade or just be better at everything than everyone.

Weaknesses: She is gullible when it comes to men. Has many frenemies due to her slight gossip revenge she's done. Cannot handle having nothing to do at all, it will drive Gia crazy if she has nothing to do.

Backstory: Gia comes from the Western part of Germany and is fluent in both German, Spanish, and English. She transferred to Golden Rose Institution once she finished her junior year back in Germany to get a more challenging education that she was not offered back home. She has been offered multiple scholarships for D1 volleyball, and her outstanding grades back home. She already has a plan set up for her future at a university, meaning she already accepted a scholarship to a school. Full ride to be specific.

Goals: End the year with jaw dropping grades. She hopes to be one of the best middles in the state. She also wants to find a romantic partner to spend the rest of her life with, un-realistic thinking of her. If she can't have that then she hopes to buy a dog. Her dream job is to be a dermatologist, she is fascinated with skin and how they relate with the body mentally and physically.

Notes: I do speak German and Spanish so when, and if, she does speak in a different language I will list what language in text and a translation under so you don't have to struggle figuring it out. She is a horizon with a version 2 senior schedule.

Appearance: 5'5 blue eyes, long blonde hair and fair skin.

Clothing: Wears oversized sweaters, band Tees's, vans, boots and leggings. Usually wears winter shades ( blue, white, purples ) and carries a brown crossbody bag.

Personality: Elyna can be shy at first, but be very friendly and loyal once she gets to know someone, ride horses and play drums. Ella loves to be outside, close to nature. Ella loves the snow and enjoys a good book during a thunderstorm. Can NOT survive without coffee or cupcakes. History is her favorite subject. Like most 16 year old girls Ella is boy crazy, but freezes when trying to talk to them. She is excited for sophomore year and making friends.

Strengths: Science, History, and drumming

Weaknesses: Elyna struggles with confidence, and sports. She also has a sweet tooth.

Backstory: Ella is from Norway, her parents are both geologists; her dad studies volcanoes while mom studies rare gems. As a little girl she travled all over Europe. When she wasnt with her parents, Ella was raised by the village elders. She is well versed in Nordic mythology and practices the old ways (in a modern twist) .

Goals: Ella wants to continue to study history, and go to college where she can become a Nordic History Teacher.

Notes: Ella has a horse named Saga, he is a grey Fjord.

A tall, sinewy young man with tight, pale blonde ringlets that drape just beyond the sides of his neck and touch the top of his shoulders. Sammie stands at around 6'5-6'6ish and weighs 260lbs. He has narrow, slanted eyes with dark brown, nearly black, irises. Their eyelashes and eyebrows match the color of their hair atop of his head, making it seems like they have no eyebrows .. or eyelashes. () He has two centipede tattoos: 1 crawling up his left forearm, and one crawling down his spine (bottom of nape --> right above his waist / hips).
Clothing:
Typical metalhead wardrobe. Black, leather jackets, camo cargo pants, band tees (his favorite band is Slipknot so he's often wearing tees from that band), belts, chain bracelets/necklaces/other accessories, extravagant sterling silver rings, etc. Oftentimes, he can be seen in an oversized black band sweatshirt, oversized ripped black jeans, and muddled red converse. He enjoys putting heavy eyeliner on or full-on corpse paint. Depends on his mood.
Personality:
Though his rather off-putting appearance may make him appear dark and brooding, he's actually quite the opposite. A giant teddy bear, if you will. However, despite this, you should be careful what you say around him, as Samson is quick to irritate. Even Samson himself isn't too sure why, as he knows the giant teddy bear persona clashes with his ticking time-bomb of a temper.
Traits:
Giant teddy bear with a temper similar to a ticking time bomb. Be careful what you do, he is quick to react!
Strengths:
- Rather smart, despite his.. fashion choice
- Can name just about any Slipknot song off of the top of his head. Just ask!
Weaknesses:
- Thunderstorms. Or storms of any sort.
- Tomatoes. Blegh.
Backstory:
Samson grew up in Tampa, FL and has lived there ever since. He was raised in a loving homestead full of metalheads -- well, his parents were at least. His sister isn't, she's more of a coquette/preppy type of gal. Anywhosles, Samson's life wasn't necessarily too extraordinary -- other than his smarts, that is. In pretty much each of the schools Sam has attended, he's had basically perfect grades in each class.. except for math. He struggled drastically in that class. Either way, his almost-perfect grades managed to earn him a spot at the institute, which utterly excited both him and the rest of his family members.
Goals:
- Aims to find a romantic partner hopefully before he graduates. Due to his brooding vibe, he's scared away pretty much all of his chances of being able to have a relationship.
- Wants to attend university and eventually vet-school so he can become a veterinarian! He loves animals quite a lot and owns plentiful back at his home in Florida.
Notes:
- apologies for yet another tall senior dude with curly hair. i try my best to aim away from having characters who are minorities. the youngest I would do are OCs close to becoming adults. (unless its warrior cats, as well.. their cats, and their age is measured in moons.)
- not very smart when it comes to height and weight proportions, especially when it comes to muscular body structures. so I apologize if he seems underweight / overweight despite having muscle

Appearance: Ashton is a 6’4 dude with shaggy brown hair, his skin is an ivory skin tone. His eyes are a deep blue color. Ashton will let his sister put his hair in little ponytails or buns when it gets long enough. He has some muscle on him as well.
Clothing: Ashton wears jeans and t shirts regularly, cowboy boots (particularly only 1 pair of light brown ones) or tennis shoes are what he normally wears. Personality: Ashton is a charming man, though he can be quite chatty he prefers listening rather than doing most of the talking. He enjoys caring for people he’s close to, he is not fond of those who seem stuck up. He won’t let anyone touch his hair except for himself and his sister.

Backstory: Quinn’s older brother by 1 year. Just like Quinn, they grew up with a single father in Texas , their mother passed when they were very young due to a car accident. Their father was a very hard worker who wanted Quinn to follow in his footsteps of being a lawyer, and wanted Ashton to become a doctor or something of that nature. While her father had high expectations of his sister, he had even higher expectations for Ashton since he was the older brother. Ashton took care of his sister quite a bit while their father was working.
Goals: Graduate with A’s, find friends and even a relationship, he hopes to become a boat engineer or a plane engineer.
Notes: Ashton has a fascination with planes and military boats. He spent a lot of time working with horses thus he has some muscle on him.
