THORNEDCLAW

The large she-cat was sat near to the nursery, her posture straight and her eyes watching as StarKit practiced her pouncing on a defensive beetle.
StarKit was half way to becoming an apprentice, and oh how that excited her! Her little Star would be becoming a warrior soon, just like her. Though she loved this path for her daughter, for her to grow into the capable warrior she knows Star is, it made her a bit nervous. Star’s been having some struggles and hiccups during training, ones that would not slide on the battlefield. “Stance.” She demanded, seeing as StarKit was slouching and getting lazy with the way she stood. “And be faster! The damned thing can see you coming from a mile away.”

STARKIT

StarKit huffed, standing up straight before throwing herself at the beetle once again. She was getting tired of this, the repetition and constant demands. Her mom was always like this, but StarKit needed a break. The beetle simply flew out of the way, the thick exoskeleton of its wings lifting to reveal more delicate ones that buzzed like a swarm. Despite her exhaustion, as the beetle seemed to grow bored and try to fly off she jumped a final time, only able to tap its exterior. But that was enough for her. “There, I basically got it!” StarKit mewed desperately, letting herself collapse onto the ground.

THORNEDCLAW

Seeing StarKit fall to the ground in exhaustion, ThornedClaw tilted her head. “Well, then? What are you doing? Get that beetle! You’d never let prey get away when hunting, would you?” She hissed, walking over to her daughter and urging her up with a paw.

STARKIT

“I’m tired. Let it be.” She groaned, letting herself go limp against her mom’s paw, leaning her full weight onto her. “Just a dumb bug.”

THORNEDCLAW

“Watch your tongue, as far you know that’s your dinner.” ThornedClaw warned, moving her paw and letting StarKit fall back onto the ground. “In fact, I think it is now.”

STARKIT
—-
“What? You can’t be serious.” She huffed, shifting to stand. Backing off to she wouldn’t bump into her mom as she did so. “It’s probably left camp by now!”

THORNEDCLAW

She raised an eyebrow. “When have I ever not been serious? Go. Get. That. Beetle.” ThronedClaw hissed.

STARKIT
—-
StarKit huffed, walking off to try and track the bug. Did beetles even give off any scent? We’re the even enough to eat? This is totally insane! And unfair! She grumbled and cursed to herself as she walked off, looking back to her mom from over her shoulder before continuing around camp when her mother showed no sign of budging. It’s gonna take a while to find this thing.

That wasn’t a character sheet i just posted! Its role play between the two characters I have, I wanted to try and get the other Dayclan members active, so I just posted a little interaction :p
