I think there should be a way to lock your account in case you can't come on. I will be moving and won't be able to come on for a few days and really don't want to lose my lionesses, especially the one I paid for. Hmm, yeah. Maybe this could be like it won't affect your stuff until the day after the day you log on? Like when you log on after locking your account, you'll get in without a rollover but still be able to use the forums, get stuff, ect. except the stuff won't be updated until the next day.
