Don't get me wrong, I love the new fertility update. But really? The vuka vuka is just another GB item that allows the "rich" players to get ahead in the game/just bypass the update completely. It's only 3 GB. Right now, I could easily just bump all my lionesses as high as they can go and never have to worry about not having cubs. (I am aware you can't get goddess, but the highest you can get is still 99%) So, I have a suggestion. Instead of being able to change the fertility level to whatever you want when using the Vuka Vuka, you can only go one level up or one level down. It would only be able to be used once per lioness. It could also be bumped down to a SB item so that people have something to spend SB on. This would prevent people from completely bypassing the update, and also bring more use to SB. |

I also agree. This pretty much ruins the work of the developers by letting you bypass the whole update... I even ranted about this. But yes, it would be neat to actually just remove it and keep the two SB items. Why do we need GB items after every update? This is the prime time to give SB some shine and give it a feature that GB doesnt have. Even the cub survival could have only SB items but no GB items whatsoever. Time to raise the value of SB. It really needs it now. 0 players like this post! Like? |

regardless, I could still bump all of mine to the second highest, which I believe can have 98% 0 players like this post! Like? |

But guys.. How do you think this site is still running. It's not off people buying SB, to be fair. It's shity and stuff but our admins and mods worked hard. Give it another month, not many people will buy it. 3 GB? PFFT. I'd rather work my way up to it. Right players would rather keep their GB, however arrogant they might seem c: Give it another month. If you don't like it, *NOT BEING HARSH HERE*, Wolf Play and Felis Fire are always around the corner! 0 players like this post! Like? |

I agree, I am not the "rich people" I barely grab a hold of GB but this is a item for the people who are actually helping the site keep running, keep that in mind (: 0 players like this post! Like? |

But there are already plenty of GB items people STILL buy like the mane changers, birth feathers, and zebra hearts to name a few and that's not even including customization. Honestly I don't think the team letting up on the GB items and letting the MAIN currency have more useful functions won't cause the game to die off. It doesn't make sense that the main currency has fewer uses than secondary currency other than trading for the secondary currency. I support this. 0 players like this post! Like? I would support this if you changed it to "can go up one level or down one level, can be used multiple times". If you can only go up or down one level and only used once, there is essentially no benefit to purchasing it at all, and since it does exist and is GB priced, it should have some sort of benefit to it. I personally will just bear the energy loss of breeding multiple times or buy the SB items and use them repeatedly, but I also keep small prides and don't breed like a machine. -shrug- 0 players like this post! They do have plants you can buy for 60 SB or 100 SB to change your lionesses fertility level up or down till the next successful breeding. So it seems this thread is a bit pointless honestly. Sure its another real money item, and it is a permanent change rather than the herbs which only last that long. BUT there IS and item which is a reasonable SB price to buy. :o 0 players like this post! Like? |

I agree with Dvojka. I sold 1GB for 1000SB and that was enough to get the item and lower my High lioness to Very Low. So Vuka Vuka isn't even needed to lower/raise fertility since the SB items seem to be cheaper anyway 0 players like this post! Like? Edited on 14/04/14 by Raksha (#8106) |

With a GB item that can entirely bypass the feature itself, the update itself gets useless. I dont like the thought that I am breeding carefully, maybe end up with a lower fertility cub, I am feeling the entire impact of the update.... .... while there are players which just throw 3GBs at the Oasis and bypass the whole thing without even needing to move a finger. The item is OP. Besides, the suggestion was not to 'make it only increase and decrease by one level AND last 2-3 breedings' but to 'make it only increase and decrease by one level OR last 2-3 breedings'. Not both. Just one. You decide which one you like better. As for the case of GB, indeed as Mid said, there are a hoard of GB items that are GB only which people will buy. The site will not lose significant if any income if they just take out Vuka Vuka or make it to a pricey SB item. It's one thing that we have SB flowers for this but... still. A GB item that knows way more and relieves you of the effects of the update is far more tempting. Plus people are fighting for more uses for SB, uses which GB should not have. Fertility, survival of cubs, these all could give some shine to SB. Away with further GB items, damn it. Implement more uses to SB, and SB only. And quickly... SB's inflation is rapid the more GB items are brought in. 0 players like this post! Like? |

Instead of getting flustered over a new item and how said item lets players bypass the update, consider how much it will actually get purchased and used. It costs GB, and as stated above only the players with GB will able to buy it. But why would they? You only get a minor energy loss for a failed breeding, and you can keep trying until it works. If it is used, then do you really think one player is going to use it on 40 lions? No. No one would do that. They might at most use it on a couple of their most cherished lionesses, and that would be it. They still have to deal with fertility rates for all of the other lionesses in their pride. I have a ton of GB, but I'm never going to use this item. I don't see the point. And in the end, people should be able to play the game the way they want to play. If this item is available and players have the means and desire to get it, then why should that affect the players who don't want to or can't use the item? oO And maybe you have forgotten, but items purchased with GB are luxuries. They are not needed in the actual gameplay. The Feed All Play All button is "bypassing" manual feedings and interactions with your lions. The sex-changer "bypasses" the original gender of your cub. The Marking Applicator "bypasses" having to breed the specific custom markings onto your lion. The Instant Birth Feathers "bypass" the pregnancy period. The Zebra Hearts "bypass" the wait for heats. The Aging Stones and Crystals "bypass" the wait for cubs and adolescents to age. So yes, Vuka Vuka allows players to "bypass" a part of the game. Just like every single other GB item available in this game... 0 players like this post! Like? |

Honestly with the mutation part and all current lions on site being either good or high I think most people would buy it for lowering lions to try for mutations. I know I did, mostly because I have a perfect lion to try for mutations. 0 players like this post! Like? |

Just one. You decide which one you like better. Was this in response to my post? Because I don't see any of this posted anywhere, including in the OP and my post. >.> The OP states : "Instead of being able to change the fertility level to whatever you want when using the Vuka Vuka, you can only go one level up or one level down. It would only be able to be used once per lioness. It could also be bumped down to a SB item so that people have something to spend SB on. " I asked for a change to : "can go up one level or down one level, can be used multiple times." I apologize if I'm misunderstanding you, but I'm very confused as to where that paragraph came from, after rereading everyone's posts, I still don't see it. :x 0 players like this post! Like? |

Starrie: These items bypass a tiny rate of a features of the game one by one. The marking applicator for example does not let you choose 10 markings all at once. Zebra heart does not remove the cooldown from breeding waiting time between breedings either. And it only applies to a single breeding and not forever. These items have a tiny effect compared to Vuka Vuka. Which is an any level permanent change. But yes, Mysticashes pointed out another use for this OP GB item. The fact that you can try for more mutations by changing your pride to very low. I can tell, that with Vuka Vuka, mutations will be rather common soon enough instead of staying rare as the developers might want it to stay. Bad news. Not much chance with Vuka Vuka. 0 players like this post! Like? |
