I'm sure something similar to this suggestion has likely been made, but I didn't see it right away... so if someone wants to put a link here, I'm happy to voice my opinion on it instead. Anyway... --------------------------------------- Many of us have adolescent girls (either bred, purchased, etc). I know I've seen suggestions about allowing more lionesses to hunt - personally, I like the 5 lioness limit, since that leaves a challenge, and allows players a good demand for excess carcasses.... However, I'd like a way to be able to "train" my younger ladies sooner... so when they are officially able to hunt, they've got a little experience behind them. In the wild, these ladies would be learning from their moms and others in the pride, mimicking behaviors they see to develop their own abilities. My suggestion, PART ONE: Allow us to send our normal 5 adult ladies out to hunt - WITH the addition of 1-2 adolescent female(s) "in training." Adolescent females would be placed on the map, just as the adults are. They can earn small amounts of experience and potential stat gains (lesser chance than an adult). BUT, they can NOT bring home any BIG carcasses. PART TWO: This opens the door to possible new small carcasses (that when fed, give the amount of the human leg), such as: aardvark, hare, duiker, dik-dik, ground squirrel, etc... Benefits to players AND the game: Not only will this help players better their adolescents, - it could result in new quests from the snake for the new carcasses, which would increase the challenge of the game, - it would encourage people to keep female cubs that they may have otherwise chased off, since those carcasses couldn't be found with an adult lioness. |

I support this. Dragonsage has it set up pretty well. I like this idea as a whole if it used Dragonsage's method with your idea applied about small carcasses and some stat gains. I really get put off of breeding or accepting cubs or adols because you can't really do anything with the adols. This would make me not so put off with breeding or buying cubs. 0 players like this post! Like? |

This would be wonderful! And, with how much Lioden is now looking for 'realistic' things, I think this would fit. Adols don't just sit around in the den all day everyday. 0 players like this post! Like? |

I think cubs and adolescents should be able to catch rats and otters and VERY small prey! 0 players like this post! Like? |

Agree 100%. Young lions start practicing skills almost from birth. Both adolescents and cubs should have the chance to do this. EDIT: I don't mean cubs should hunt, but have more/better chance to raise stats by playing. 0 players like this post! Like? Edited on 26/01/14 by Felicat (#24395) |
