6/30/2018 - (The very first mutation born and bred in the Sun Pride. I'm so thankful both Snow and Masked Fate were alive to see it. So proud of you, Kerbs!!)
Kerberos named her Styx, after another of Pluto's moons. Styx was discovered one year after Kerberos was.
Snow immediately set to dressing her up, picking flowers for Krolia to make into a flower crown.

7/2/2018 - Styx opened one sleepy brown eye to peek at her surroundings. She saw the Penumbra paws of her mother, and heard the soft sound of her sleeping breath. She didn't see her sister or Firefly, however. Startled by this realization, she mewled.
Within seconds, Firefly trotted up to her. "Styx, sweetie? Are you alright?"
Styx blinked at the chocolate lioness in front of her. After a moment, she nodded. "Where'd you go? Where's Nix?"
Firefly sighed in relief. "We were right outside the den. Nix wanted to go outside, sweetie. Since you're up now, do you want to join us?"
Styx nodded. "Yes please!"
The two padded out into the sunlight. It was the wet season now, and the Sun Pride's territory was full of vibrant greenery. The grass was so much softer during this time, and Nix was enjoying it, rolling around and mewling happily.
Styx set her attention to the various flowers she saw. She was interrupted by a tug on her tail. She turned around to see the playful blue eyes of her sister.
"C'mon Styx, let's play tag! You're it!" Nix called, already running off.
Styx just watched her sister run, shocked. Firefly laughed.
"Are you gonna let her win so easily?"
"N-no!" Styx replied, shaking her head. "I'll catch her!" She ran off after the Korat cub, struggling to keep up. Noticing this, Nix slowed slightly, letting her sister catch her.
"Aww, you got me!" Nix said with a dramatic fall. "I have been slayed!"
The two cubs giggled at that. Firefly watched with a smile.
7/5/2018 - You absent-mindedly told Styx to find every meerkat in a neighbouring colony as her training for today. She returned a few hours later from her stalking training to report the exact number of meerkats. +2% training experience!
7/6/2018 - You asked Styx to climb the tree nearby the den. She immediately climbed the tree, using the tips you gave her. +7% training experience!
7/9/2018 - You told Styx to run a few laps around the pridelands to improve her speed. Before you could even finish your sentence, she zoomed off. +5% training experience!
7/11/2018 - Without questioning you, Styx immediately charged at their pridemate, wrestling them to the ground in a prompt victory. +7% training experience!
7/13/2018 - You gave Styx tips on how to pounce more successfully and she tried them out on a bird in a low-hanging branch. She got so caught up in paw placement that she face planted into the tree when she jumped⦠Oops.
7/13/2018 - Styx panted, flopping onto the grass with a light thud. She never did stand a chance when she tussled her sister. She had her own skills, but Nix was much larger and stronger than her. Still, Styx appreciated the practice.
"You alright?" Nix asked, watching with slight concern.
Styx gave her a small smile. "Yes, I'm alright. I needed this."
Nix raised an eyebrow at that. "Are you that nervous?"
Styx nodded sheepishly. "I don't want to do a bad job once I start training tomorrow, Nix! Mom and Mama both are going to be training us, and I'd hate to disappoint them."
"Oh, stop that. First of all, mom and mama could never be disappointed in you," Nix started. "And second, you'll do just fine. You're a skilled girl, Styx. You'll be a great huntress!"
Styx sighed. "But will I really?"
"Pfft. With mama training you? No doubt! Firefly could train a rock to be a huntress!" Nix grinned.
Styx chuckled at that. "That's very true!"
"Yeah. So don't worry, OK? We've got this." Nix smiled, snuggling next to her sister.
Styx nodded. "We've got this. Thank you, Nix."
"Anytime, Styx."

8/24/2024 - Running towards you, Styx greets you from afar and follows you for the next hour to learn from the best.
8/30/2024 - As you walk up to Styx, she drops whatever she was doing immediately. She's ready and willing to do whatever you ask!
