I wouldn’t trade this stingy girl for the world.

Found on the edge of the ruins, Riverside was immediately taken in under suspicions of being Herodotos' cub, but it quickly became apparent that she was not as she grew. After all, Herodotos wasn't a tiger.

-

Quickly adapting to her life within the pride, Riverside became a close confidant of many lions and lionesses, raising her status within the pride to prominence. She became close friends with Ukama, being of similar ages, and this brought her into Herodotos' sights as a member of the pride who could take over Amoan's line of work whenever she was ready to retire. When Riverside heard about this, she accepted immediately.

Despite her talent with cubs, and the fact that she often stayed in the temple to protect them, she was excelling with her work alongside Amoan. Her abilities to explore the jungle around the temple were unmatched, and she used this to her advantage often. She would find places to herd different animals with the optimal nutrients for them, allowing their numbers to swell.

-

Riverside became a common fixture of the temple's day to day life. She was larger than almost every other lioness within the pride, but was the most gentle. She would carefully care for every cub that was put under her care, no matter who their mother or how old they were. And whenever she would hunt, she would swim. Bringing home fish and other delicacies that the lions of her home had never known. She outlived Herodotos, and thrived well into his daughter's reign.

Riverside was loved, cherished, and protected until the day she died.
