Speckle, daughter of King Hawk and the pride's shaman, Quartz.
When she was born, Speckle was judged as weak and unworthy of staying in the pride. She spent her childhood knowing that one day she'll be taken to The Giving Tree, and she feared that day more than anything. She was afraid that no one will rescue her and she will end up prideless... To avoid such a fate, Speckle decided to prove her worth to the king.
She trained every day and every night, learning new skills from the best, until King Hawk finally saw her efforts. But he still wasn't convinced... He allowed her to stay in the pride until she was two years old. If she still doesn't impress him after all this time, she'll have to leave.
So Speckle trained even harder. She turned out to be particularly talented in combat, but she did not limit herself to it. She improved her skills in every field, even things like medicine or shamanism.
After months of hard work, that day has finally came. Speckle turned two years old and stood before the king to be judged again. She ran all over the territory, defeated everyone the king pointed out, hunted down every animal he wanted, and answered every question. After doing all this, Speckle finally got a response.
The king allowed her to stay in the pride.
Speckle chose to become a fighter, and what a fighter she was!
Despite achieving her goal, Speckle did not rest. She was still training to get better and better. At one point, she even ended up in the medicine den from overworking. After that, Speckle tried to be softer on herself...

When she slowed down with her trainings, she noticed how lonely she felt. Because of her father's rules there were not many lions of her age in the pride.
To get herself some friends, Speckle decided to reach out to her younger half-sisters, Briar and Buttercup. They were barely adolescents when Speckle was already an adult, but none of them cared. They ended up getting along, and that was all that mattered. Speckle was always glad to help her sisters with their training.
She also tried to befriend Marble, but she rudely rejected Speckle's attempts. Eh, her loss.
