Like Mleta, this cub’s parents never belonged in the pride. His pure white fur made him instantly adored by his new family of other mutated lions, and he was named ‘Mwanga’, meaning ‘light’, to match Mleta. From the beginning, Feri I knew this cub was blessed by some sort of higher power; in particular, he was often visited by a fox seemingly created from pure light.
At 5 months, a scar appeared on his shoulder, supposedly earned from a playfight with Mleta, but the shape of the scar was unique and seemed planned, its star-like shape with perfectly straight lines and sharp edges.
At 7 months old, Mwanga transformed. He sprouted ram horns and wings, no longer a pure lion. This sent the pride into uproar as they tried to figure out what to do with this beast, but Mleta reassured them that his friend would be completely fine. The light fox also disappeared, and was last spotted climbing up the mountains.
