Obs: This cutie came as a gift, and will remain in this pack as a sub-male!
Curiosity: Regulus is the name of the brightest star in the constellation Leo.

"The most painful thing about losing my eyes wasn’t the fact that what was left was different/unfamiliar, like I’d lost a part of myself; the most painful thing is that with whatever ends up left, you see so much more.”—Sequoia, post transformation
"I think…I think there’s more to Mama’s eyes than just their appearance. I thought I saw…I thought I saw another cub today, a stranger, someone I’d never met; …she…she walked through me like—like she was a ghost or something. Mama might be better at pretending, but I see her; I know she saw the cub, and I know she saw it go through me, because it was like she was gonna come and talk to me before Phantomblaze called her away for his report.
The other cubs think I’m weird; I guess I am, but it’s not exactly like I asked to be…I ..I felt something, when Cloudsplash took us out in the forest to play, but when I looked there was nothing there! One of the other cubs even got me in trouble—teasing me about playing hide and seek with ghosts since I was too weird for anyone else; I didn’t even do anything that bad back, I just tripped her…and maybe cuffed her on the ear." - Regulus, in his birth pride.
No one questioned Micail's acceptance of the cub into his own when Dreamy Sunset brought him in. The conversation between the witch queen and the dragonic king was private, but it wasn't the first time, nor the last, that he had allowed outside cubs into the pride. Being in a new pride, surrounded by so many strangers, is not easy. Not even for an adult, much less for a cub, but the witch queen and Skyla, the broodmother who took him into her care, helped him adjust to the new reality.
The witch, always steeped in magic, knew as soon as she saw Regulus that he was able to see beyond the veil, and resolved to help him control it. With permission from her former pack to adopt him, she brought him home and named him after one of her favorite stars.
"Don't be afraid of what you can see, little one". Those were Dreamy Sunset's words. "As I once read in a human book, 'There are more things in heaven and earth than are dreamt of in your vain philosophy.'" Regulus, of course, was confused by such words, but somehow, he knew he could trust that lioness, even if the eternal daughter that accompanies her is... Unnerving.
