He looked to the sky. The sun was already on its way to the top. He pricked his curled ears. Wow, short night. Or so he hoped. Shrugging this off, he dropped down onto all-fours again. "Well, us strays usually gotta find some food almost every day."

She winced as she saw his terrible scar but said nothing about it. It was probably something painful that he didn't want to discuss.... "Oh, well, Tammy is 13, and Jon is 7, and little Fallon is almost 1.. Mr. and Mrs. Martin are much older... I don't know how much, though." She smiled. She was admittedly proud of her knowledge of her family. After all, she was the only dog, the protector of the whole crowd sleeping soundly behind them.

She thought for a moment. "I'll be three this fall." She said after a moment. "Sure! My family would definitely welcome you. And some canine company is always welcome." She smiled at the handsome blue pit.

Her smile beamed. Maybe he was coming around to humans..? And her family was the best one around to sway him, if any human(s) could. "Jon's really energetic and playful. A lot of times he goes to his friend Ricky's house, but he always makes sure to spend time with me. Tammy is nice, but she pays a lot of attention to her phone. She can always share with me, though. I don't think any of them are my specific person, though." She said, laughing a bit.

(I'm okay w/ it, but you should pm Lotus to make sure c: I guess I could count them as NPC's, but it's Lotus' roleplay, we don't want to seem like we're takin' it over ^^)

"I'm certain." She said, beaming at him. She turned and nudged the dog-door open. She stepped quickly inside and stood back by the couch to give Chain room to come in. It was a school day... They whole family would be up in a matter of minutes, if she was correct. She glance at the clock on the wall: 5:54. Yep, only 6 minutes and everyone would be bustling around the house. She couldn't wait for them to meet Chain.

She giggled. She heard feet on the second floor moving about and she smiled. "Everyone will be up soon. That's probably Mrs. Martin making her rounds of the rooms just now." She could hear Tammy grown from all the way down the stairs and she rolled her eyes.

The girl walked down the stairs, her hair a big mess on her head and her pajamas still on. She yawned and when she reached the bottom of the stairs, her eyes landed on a familiar dog--and a strange one. She cocked an eyebrow and called up the stairs. "Uh, mom? Can you come here a sec?"

She looked up innocently at the girl. She watched her stare at Chain and was secretly relieved when she didn't freak. Her and Mr. Martin were the only ones she would be afraid of meeting the new dog. She sighed slightly and waited for the woman to come downstairs.

She came back out of Jon's room, the sleepy boy following her downstairs. She came up behind Tammy. "What is it, hun--" She saw the Pitbull and squeezed past her daughter. She stopped a few feet in front of the male dog and crouched down slowly.
