She smiled and nudged him. "Give her a sniff or something. I promise she doesn't bite." She looked at Mrs. Martin. She sat patiently before him, still. Tammy held Jon back. He struggled to reach the new dog. (Jon is a dog freak X3 )

Tammy lost her hold on Jon and he giggled, smothering the new dog in pets. Mrs. Martin smiled warmly and patted the dog's head. She looked back at their own pet. "Is this your friend, Claira?" She said, laughing.

She rubbed her head against Tammy's leg and just flicked her tail at Mrs. Martin. She'll just have to find out. She thought, smiling.

Tammy flashed a rarely-seen smile and held a hand out to the dog. Her eyes shone. She loved Claira, but she loved Pitbulls.. They'd never been allowed to get a dog, though. Maybe she could convince her parents...?

She beamed and went into the kitchen. She yipped to bring Mrs. Martin's attention to her. It was breakfast time; and the new kid needed some food, huh?

She laughed and stood back. Mrs. Martin chuckled and went into the kitchen after the dogs. She put one of the plastic human food bowls on the ground for Chain and filled that and Claira's bowl with some food. Claira licked her hand and took a bite of the tastey kibble. She flashed a smile at Chain.

Tammy sat down at the table, resting her head on her hands. "What are we gonna do with a new dog, mom?" She said, masking her hopefulness to keep him. "We're keepin' him, aren't we mom!" Jon yelled excitedly, running into the room. "Now we can't say that, now. He's got a collar, see? We need to make sure nobody's looking for him." Mrs. Martin said. She got out another bowl and poured cereal and milk into it, setting it on the table for Jon.
