Didn't know it was there, completely missed it. :C . Also, Cat, to illustrate Demons point, i am almost NEVER on chat. i pop in, say a few things, and go back to chatter. I find it unfair to have to check the monkey business every day just in case of a new decor.

Oh man, I didn't even know D:!

Like others have mentioned, I am always on Sales chat. I don't know the last time I even switched to main chat.

I'm really bummed out because it is certainly one of my favorite decors here and have been looking forward to being able to buy more this year. Guess I missed out...

Definitely support. Talk about heartbreak.

Edit: I also don't see the point behind the 'supply and demand' and 'no support because economy' thing. They announced the birthday flower in a news post. As someone else said it didn't destroy the economy. (Another edit, lol:) If anything the supply-and-demand is still as present as before. Announced or not some users will still miss it or may want to buy more when they get more currency after it ends. No matter, announced or not, day-only event items will remain a quick way for someone to make a profit on LD.

While, yes, the demand will be large thanks to people missing out on the decor this round and, yes, that'll be great for sellers... it really doesn't make it any more fair. I would have loved the chance to buy the decor for me and not have to jump through hoops and pay a crapton to buy it off of another player simply because I was not in the right chat at the right time.

It's because it was announced last year; apparently, they only ever intended to announce the first time limited decor is available, expecting us to use the a Wiki to know when limited decor is available. It makes no sense, IMO.

To everyone on the economy thing:

I'm not saying it like that X3
When a item is in the Shop for a single day people who miss it go and look for it, buy it, enter raffles, ect. it just adds a small flow to the economy for a while. Maybe they were just trying to get the economy flowing a little more, or maybe they forgot to announce it. But it adds to the items rarity and value, so I wouldn't support it be announced alone in a gigantic news post.

They announced the birthday flower for Abbey and that was up last year, according to the Wiki.

So they're not just doing the decors on the first year. That's what confuses me about the newborn cub.

Wow there was a limited item in decor? I didn't even know it was there. As for it being said in chat, I was on the RP chat then...

Full support, it was really unfair that only those who were on the right chat got to know about it while other people don't even get a chance at the cool decor.

and like others, i tend to stay away from Main chat, mostly because it just doesn't interest me/at times really annoys me.

I think there could be a better way of letting us know than saying it in chat

Also, about it being rare...well, I dont' agree with that. That sounds like something someone who bought a whole bunch would say, honestly. Not saying the person that said it DID do that, i'm just saying that's what it sounds like

If they wanted it to be rare they could make a limited number in store, not keep it a secret from the majority of the user base to prevent us from buying it *shrug*

And i for one don't enter raffles or buy super over-priced decor off Sales branches, lo [i am not spending more than 2 GB on decor, it's not worth it to me =3] l I'll buy decent priced decor, though it's hard to find, or wait until next year to buy it. That's always been my way of things =P

Support! I didn't even know it was available until a couple of days after the one day only event. A news announcement or PM notification would help a lot and even things out so everyone have a chance of getting it. It won't ruin the economy - after all not everyone will have the SB or GB price it is being sold for when its available. There will always be a demand for the items as not everyone will be able to get it. It'll just even things out a bit more for everyone.

Support! There could even be a bolded message in explore or over the chatbox. A simple but noticeable little thing to let us have a hint. I don't enjoy the Main chat and being in there is much more stressful even if I don't chat so it's unfair if it's only announced there. Some sort of message for all of the users not in the main chat would definitely be helpful ^^
