NEW BATTLING SYSTEM
We have released a NEW BATTLING SYSTEM!!!!

It's fully dynamic, reacts immediately and NO MORE SPAM SWIPE.
This new system requires you to THINK and plan strategy. Every animal has a different trait, body type and your moves have different effects on them!

Your stats matter now! Lower stat lions might have more trouble winning, but with certain animals you might have the advantage if you're very smart or fast! Watch out for the arrows! If the arrows are on your side, it means you start first and get a damage bonus. If the arrows are on the enemy's side, they will start first and get the bonus.

It will be linked under every battle so you can access it whenever you need after the battle.

We do realise it will take some time for you guys to get used to everything and learn how it works, but that's the fun thing about such massive updates! It's a game changing system and we hope you wil enjoy it as much as we have for past weeks of testing.

If the battling images might be broken, report them to me #4 - I will fix asap!
If it's something else please resort to bug boards.

There's something else.
The animals will be animated.
This will take HUGE amount of time to do for 70+ animals you can currently battle, but month by month we'll be releasing few as updates! FUN!

I'm sure someone already said about this so sorry about repeating; But I think the rabies does not affect the new battling-style at all.

If I understood right, when my lion has rabies he makes more damage, right? Well, it does not seem to do that any less or more damage to me. I mean, I noticed that it did in the old system, but in this new one I don't see the difference.

Also some NPCs are just... unbeatable, or you need a ton of luck in order to beat them. I've been trying all sorts of things to all sorts of NPCs, and yes, I have found a tactic for some of them (Grab+Strangle combo works for some, but some just can't seem to be grabbed long enough to be strangled/they break off the grab before I can do anything to them, you know?), but some are just so hard that I can't seem to find a good tactic to face them.

One of them is Cheetah. No matter what I do, the bugger always flees from my grab, and biting/clawing it does hardly any damage at all. Maybe I'm just unlucky, but I faced three of them almost in a row and lost to all of them. Annoying.

Other than that, I really like the new battling-system. The animation is nice touch, I like the looks of it and the new attacks bring some color to the battle in contract to bite/scratch-spam from before.

Edit// Something else I noticed; I seem to miss a lot in the battles. Sometimes many times in a row. It is extremely annoying when my battle is going okay for a long time, and then I loose simply because my darn lion keeps missing three times a row!
Sooo, if it is possible to tone down the possibility of missing, please do so. I understand that sometimes you gotta miss, but three times a row? That is bit too much, don't you think?

Another with high difficulty, even with high stats are the pack and group animals.

I understand the more opponents there are the more hits you're going to take. However, 3 hits when it's only a pair of enemies is screwing basis battle systems. I suggest one hit for each opponent so you don't die in two minutes.

And I think earlier on someone commented that a lions level should also come into play. Also that to make it less punishing for brand new members is to even out the levels of the enemy animals with the area levels so they can gets a hit in edge wise so they don't get defeated without a fight.

Also if I may make a suggestion. We all know skill is basically all for pvp fights for skill,experience, and territory. But how about also using skill as a system of luck in the explore battles? The more skill the higher the chance it too land a critical hit.

Okay, so does the times you miss in the battle come from the stats or what? Sometimes I loose the battle simply because my lion misses so many damn times! Sometimes missing even one attack is enough to put me into a position that I will loose no matter what.

Once again, if you can do something about the "possibility to miss" percent, please do so! This is getting bad... Maybe it is just my lion, but in that case the new battling system is unfair for some lions.

I also give my vote for the idea of having the different lever areas have different level enemies. That just makes so much sense, and if you are doing poorly in one area, you can go one lower to grind some exp in order to get better in new areas. So if it is possible to code, I hope it will become a thing at one point.
