Hey all, It's been a very long afternoon/evening/night for us. We had a huge glitch regarding the expiry of trades. Because of this, we have temporarily disabled trades expiring. We worked out that an extra 2,000,000 (million) SB and 5,000 GB had been glitched into the game, which potentially could have crashed the game's economy. After an hour or two of deliberating over the best course of action, we made the decision that we had to roll back to the first backup before the bug happened. That was the morning of the 12th November. We have fortunately been able to save all forum posts, in-game messages, modbox issues, and event progression. Unfortunately we had to reset your SB, GB and event currencies to what they were when the game backed up on the 12th November. We have also reversed all trades that happened during that time, as well as any lionesses claimed, stats gained, and so on. We are very sorry for the inconvenience of being down today for several hours, and for having to roll the game back almost two days. Hopefully you'll understand what kind of impact this could have had on the game if we'd let the extra money stay. If you purchased GB between the 12th November and now, and they have not been restored to your account, please send me (Abbey, #1) a message with your PayPal Transaction or Receipt ID and I will retrieve them for you. They may not be restored instantly, but you should see them back on your account within 24 hours. (Please copy and paste the ID directly into the PM, it's much easier for me to use than a screenshot!) Thank you for your absolute patience, and we hope that there are no further mishaps from now on. Only point I'm a little bumped about: I just logged in thinking there would be a rollover and there wasn't which means I didn't only loose the progress I made yesterday but won't be able to make it up till next rollover :( 0 players like this post! So you did the backup while I was sleeping. I went to the computer at 09:50 and just had enough time to feed my lions on my main account before the rollover. I did not had the time to feed my side's lions but I will still have to do the rollover. That's not my fault, of course. My lions were fed that day. My lion were fed yesterday before you did the backup thing. But here, I will lose my hungry lions because of your mistake. I know I can't blame you about this mistake, as I said on facebook, there is no problem with that, everyone do mistakes. But I thought we will not have the rollover. I have to disagree here. You backed up my accounts while I was sleeping, and now that I'm back to the computer (it's 10:00AM here, I can't come earlier), I have to do the rollover. I leave my house at 07:30, I wasn't supposed to wake up earlier in order to feed my lions before the backup "unfed" them, was I? Then, my lions will leave my pride because of hungryness, I will have to pay back for them, because of the backup that happend during night? I disagree! 0 players like this post! Like? |

I am simply APPALLED at all the people who are listing their 'woes' and how 'horrible' this was for them, and even MORE SO by those people who are demanding (or "asking") for some kind of payment, replacement, or bonus for having been so "put out"... You DO realize how much WORK this site is for those who run it? For FREE, You play here. If you bought GB and the rollback affected it, you will get that GB back. other than GB you BOUGHT WITH CASH these people don't get 'paid' for the hard work they have to do when a glitch happens. If you sit around and whine about losing a cub or a studding, or a day of 'hard work' playing here- Maybe you should think how much MORE upset that the STAFF is... what a horrible disaster to have to cope with!! Talk about a Hard Day Of WORK!! Cut them some slack already, geeze!! Also, I know for a fact you all play some other game(s) where it occasionally crashes and you lose your game advancement. In fact it probably happens a LOT on your xbox, ps3, wii, or PC games... and you don't fling intensely moody, whiny or demanding letters to the company who sold it to you... Just because you CAN say 'oh woe is me' or 'i am 'out' of this hard work I did' doesn't mean you SHOULD. Try This: "THANKS guys! That must have been horrible to track down and fix! We're so happy you keep backups and that you were able to get it back up SO fast! We REALLY appreciate it!" 0 players like this post! Like? |

It is definitely appreciated that things are back up and running and that you guys put in so much hard work! The only thing that is depressing is that on my main account, I had claimed a REALLY rare lioness and she is now gone, and I had also spent GB on customizing a lioness and she is also now gone. So those are my only "complaints" that I can think to list. It's upsetting to have lost both of those lionesses, but I understand you did what you had to do in order to maintain smoothness of game play. 0 players like this post! Like? |

I'm very grateful and appreciative that you slaved away all these hours to fix this problem :3 You admins deserve a great big hug. The only complaint I had was having to feed and play with my lionesses all over again ; which was pretty much a nightmare, because when the server was up and running again, I was stuck in school and then later had to pick up my bro from a job interview - so you could imagine me going spastic and flying to the computer before roll over once I got home and under the gentle caress of wifi xD Oh and I'm terrible when it comes to memory, so if I did do anything good or strike a jackpot before the roll over backed up, I can't remember and redo it. Thanks. I spent all that time getting those 200 lion skulls and had over 5k left in sb and now its all gone and now thanks to this, I have NO sb left over to re-claim the five lionesses that ran away. That's just perfect. I'm glad you fixed the bug, I'm extremely upset that all my sb and hard work is gone and is now worth nothing 0 players like this post! Like? |

Thank you all for your hard work. Sometimes these things happen, and all you can do is work with what you've got in order to fix it. It sucks that all the piety and herbs I built up yesterday are gone, but I would prefer that over a crashed economy. Just wondering, though, will you all extend the current event by a couple days? I've really enjoyed it and I really love the items, so having it technically shortened by two days is the most upsetting thing that happened to me, lol. If you can't, that's understandable, but I would love an extension! 0 players like this post! Like? |
