Hello fellow Trans/NB/Questioning Liodenians! How is everyone? Welcome, all you ones who have joined lately! For you FtM/NB/Questioning individuals who are or may be interested in binders in the future, I have 2 links for 2 binders I have been using and what I think about them. :) GC2B Bindershttp://www.gc2b.co/#!store/c205c/collections/all/1 I ordered the XXL half vest in black about a month ago. Was received in about 3-4 business days (felt longer cause there was a weekend in between) and so far I'm fairly happy with it. It doesn't compress my chest area as much as I would like it to, but any smaller sizes wouldn't fit over my shoulders. Its very comfortable and I can breathe fine in it. I would definitely recommend a half vest over a full tank when exercising, as almost all full tanks slide up and chafe slightly when doing vigorous workouts. Some people don't like how it pushes everything down and makes your stomach look bigger than it usually is, but I personally don't have much problem with that, though I can tell the difference in stomach size when and when not wearing it. I know a lot of trans guys don't like the half vests because they are similar to bras when it comes to the areas they're covering and how little fabric is used, but they really are the most convenient with doing everyday tasks and even lounging around. As my first ever real binder, I didn't really know what to expect. Let's just say I cried a lot of happy tears when I got it. Took about 6 business days to get here, and boy was I excited. I was so worried that I was gonna have ordered the wrong size, but luckily it was perfect. Not sure if my choice for this to be my favorite ever real binder is because it was my first and compared to the years living without it it was some sort if miracle, or because it was actually a great binder. Either way, it did wonders. It made a huge difference going out with that then without. I was not only more comfortable, but I felt like others were less likely to misgender me. I think everyone's first binder will probably end up being their favorite. As for comfort and what not, it was fairly nice. At first I think it was a tad itchy but after a few days it mostly went away. Its crazy how much it compressed but still allowed you to breathe and move around. I would definitely recommend this as a daily use binder. I now use mine as my swim binder because I've lost weight and I have a new one, and it works well for that though it is hard to take off because you're wet, but don't all binders do that? Overall, great binder. Looked good (could pass as a shirt) and felt good. 0 players like this post! Like? |
