In regards to last Friday's update here - LINK We have decided to change Albino genetics into still being a random occurence, but it has a chance of passing now if one parent is Albino, and that chance is higher if both are Albino. We also switched Fiery with Fulvous (from gold to red group, wiki page will be updated today soon). Not all of the bases may be in groups that you guys would want and seem more fitting, but these are where they will stay, per our decision. Please bare in mind everyone has different opinions about this. But on this occasion, we agreed that Fulvous would do better in Fiery’s place, and so they are switched. Something extra We saw a very cool suggestion today and we've decided to implement it since we're updating genetics anyway - on Lion's page, Genetics will now display in a new line.   0 players like this post! Maybe the colorgroups could be put into an order? Like... black - red - gold - cream And if you breed a cream and a black base together, you could have the chance to get black, red, gold or cream bases. But if you breed a black and gold together, then you can get black, red and gold bases. Stuff like this. More diversity, less complaints. I agree with Axel. From there AND the inferno complaint. I know that you admins work pretty damn hard on this, but a color group change is all were asking of you, and a possible new base that looks golden, NOT RED. I mean, I breed Siamese lions, but that doesn't make me oblivious to this inferno problem. If I bred a fiery base lion to an inferno base lioness, or vice versa, I would expect a reddish litter, but I would probably end up with all golden. 0 players like this post! Like? |

These genetics are ridiculous. A maroon x prune should not equal a copper, that defeats the purpose of me breeding two special bases together. If I wanted a chance of a copper I would of studded to a copper stud not a prune one. If the goal is to restore to cub market and raise the prices of special base cubs, then I guess you'll accomplish that. 0 players like this post! Like? |

I'm bummed. I don't understand why 2 bluish lions now get me a light brownish lion. The whole point of having mostly one base in my den and a stud with the same base was I would always get that base. Don't know why Maltese was made special for genetics but I really don't have a reason to breed them anymore when there's a much smaller chance of getting the base I want now. 0 players like this post! I appreciate the update and the movement of Fiery to the red group, and also the new genetics line on the lion page, but Inferno should be in the Red group. I mean, it's almost like an Apple red or something. Something red. Anyway, I expect Inferno to be moved to the Red group in the next update or two. 0 players like this post! Like? |
