royal jelly will be an oasis item that in sub males it could like Vincent Van Goat (#60759) said , like freezeing (without patrolling)for 2 or 3 lioden years the sub male.
you can use it when the sub male reach 4 years old and you can use it only 1 time in the lion life

for example you have the perfect heir and he have 14 years and your king have 13 years old, give the royal jelly to your heir and he will be 14 years old for 2 lioden years and when your king is gone your heir will be king with 10 years old .

for the use of this item the cost could be 5 gb
and will have 1 use per purchase

No support.

This is far too great of an age decrease, and would provide an unfair advantage to those on the LB. For example, SP would be able to get in another 5 years. The life span works in order to allow others a chance at the LB.

I actually like this idea because sometimes, you see the PERFECT male to become your heir but if you bought/took/raised him, he'd be very old by the time he took over.

I think it'd be good if you could only use it one time on a male and one time on a female. I'll support because I've felt this pain before :c

what about a temporary freeze? Like, you can buy the item and it freezes your lion for the next 2 lioden years, then the freeze gets undone? (can only be used on sub males) ?

@Torquil: Not everything is about the leaderboard. Lioden is a lion SIM and the lions die because lions die IRL. It just so happens that it also allows for a more dynamic leaderboard.

But yes, no support.
It would give an unfair pay-to-play-ish advantage to those who use it. You can gain a hell of a lot of stats in 5 years.

I think Vincent's Idea is much better and more subtle.

No support. Theres an event with this. April I think? De ages or ages a lion by 2 years. I dont think this should be a item that you could get at any time.

While I don't support the idea, I do lean more towards being able to use it on a sub-male. Especially one that you intend to use either as your new king (be it stat wise or look wise). But even then, I am very iffy on this idea.

Yeah, a temporary freeze would definitely be better as long as the lion acts like a frozen lion for as long as it's frozen. So no hunting, breeding, patrolling etc while temporary frozen.

Don't see why not, people use their side account to temporary freeze lions anyway.

It becomes about the leaderboard because you can no longer use "lions die IRL" as an excuse. After all, you can't exactly feed a jellyfish to a lion and have it become immortal. Reality is hardly a plausible defence now, so I jump to the statted side of the game, where age becomes a significant factor.

@Torquil: Yes, but you said it as if death in this game is designed for the leaderboard and that's not true.

Still dont support this. Minimanta, with the way this suggestion is worded, they want to still be able to hunt/ patrol their de-aged/"frozen" lion. Which, yes, would be mostly used by people on the leaderboards. As much as players dont want to admit it, it does come down to that.

It would give people on the leaderboards an unfair advantage over others, letting them keep their leaderbaord lions for more years. More years = more stats.

If you wish to freeze a lion for a few years, why not just use your side account, since, as you mentioned, is the same thing.

Also, Heirs de-age when become kings. If the heir is over 10 years of age, he is de-aged to 8 years old.

@Winchester: That was a reply to a different suggestion in a post, not the original suggestion!

I am absolutely against de-aging lions but I don't see why we can't have a temp. freeze item as long as the lions can't hunt, patrol etc while being temp. frozen.
