Aclain walked into the bar that she didn't bother reading the name of. As soon as she entered the smell of sweat and alcohol hit her nostrils, and eye's, making them flutter. Lain smiled, watching as the girls found some partner they wouldn't remember in the morning, and the boys trying to take them home. Aclain slid through the floor, like water going down a stream, meeting cute boys and the promise of a free drink. After what seemed like forever, she went to the bar. This wasn't her first time here, so she barely broke a sweat. Her hair fell around her shoulders like locks of gold, and her blue eyes shone like fire. Her blue dress putting her eyes off even more. she didn't bother with a glamour, they wouldn't even remember her in the morning. She ordered whatever the fella next to her was having. Werewolf, and not one she hadn't seen here and there. "Long time no see, Felix." She said in her silky voice that could lure a man to her room with a word. She turned and took a sip of the drink, feeling its contents slide down her throat and settle. She smiled, showing white teeth, and red lips.

Felix looked up as some familiar voice called his name. He looked to the bar stool next to him to find no one other than Aclain. He chuckled. "Look what the cat dragged in." He motioned toward Aclain's drink. "Good, isn't it?"

Aclain chuckled, taking another sip of the drink. "It's not too bad." She answered. She remembered meeting Felix at this club, not too long ago. She'd seen him in a pack every once in a while. "If the cat dragged me, what dog got you?" She asked, looking away from him and into the crowd. Next to them, she saw a white haired girl, a fearie, and someone faintly familiar. She couldn't put a name to his face, though. The white haired girl was shadowhunter, though. Aclain had done dealings with the York institute here and there and happened upon her. She wondered where the boy was, the Faircross boy. She shrugged the thought off. She was here for fun, not work and dealings. She watched as the group of dancers slid this way and that.

Felix's face dropped. "Just about everyone," his voice was so soft he was barely heard over the jumble of music and voices in the club. He looked down at his glass, then took a chug. He swallowed, and looked back at Aclain. "But let's not talk about them. They're history. What's new with you? I haven't seen you in almost forever."

Aclain let a sly smile escape her lips. "Oh, you know, the usual, been there done that sort of thing." Aclain said. She flashed her glowing blue eye's his way. They're history... Aclain came to the conclusion he was kicked out. She could faintly hear the conversation going on next to them. It seemed a bit intense. Aclain wanted to join in, but minded her own business. "Shadowhunters have many demands." She went on.

Felix gave Aclain a gruff laugh. "Don't they always? So-and-so do this! So-and-so do that! And god forbid you don't, and suddenly you're the bad guy and the Clave is on your back." Felix took a swig of his drink and finished it. He ordered a coke-and-rum next. He could feel his brain starting to get foggier, and he preyed the bartender wouldn't send him away. He didn't. He honestly didn't think that the bar tender cared as long as he didn't attack anyone. Felix turned back to Aclain. "How many shadowhunters on death's row did you save this month?" He laughed. Shadowhunters always had a way of getting into trouble. Proclaiming it was their 'right as protectors'. Just thinking about shadowhunters as the 'protectors' of this world made him want to throw up.

"Too many to count," Aclain joked. She chuckle at that, remembering London. Oh, how it has changed since last she was there. She shook her head and finished her drink. She placed it on the bar slide behind her, but didn't order another. The effects of the alcohol minimal, she was used to them by now. "Sometimes, I think they should be the ones who need protecting rather than the mundies. You should see what they can do when they are put to it," Aclain said, referring to the mundanes.

Felix laughed. "You don't have to try and convince me - I used to be a mundane! I know how scary some of them can be. Honestly, though, would it kill the shadowhunters to stay out of trouble once in a while? Most days they cause more trouble than they're worth." Felix took a sip of his next drink, enjoying the way the rum burned slightly at the back of his throat. "They think they're so special, just because they have a couple drops of angel blood in them....."

Aclain giggled, remembering Felix once was a mundane. She twirled her gold locks around her index finger. Her back was leaning against the bar counter, and she was facing the crowd. She turned around and called for the bartender. "Give me your best," She said, plucking a twenty from her beige over-the-shoulder purse. Moments later, the bartender came with her drink. He was rather handsome, black hair, stubble on his chin, green eyes. She gave him a smile before turning back to Felix. "Subject change. I don't think either of us came here to talk about shadowhunters" She drawled. She took a few rather large gulps of her strong drink, feeling the burn go down, and hopped off of her chair, beckoning Felix to dance with her using her fingers and hips. She swayed with the crowd, moving with whatever song was on.

Felix laughed. He downed the rest of his drink, the rum burning the back of his throat. He was fairly tipsy now, but so were the majority of the people in this club. He joined Aclain on the dance floor, swaying to the beat of the music, hoping to avoid the grinding groups of people. He danced near Aclain, but not exactly next to her. He laughed as he watched mundanes flirting and 'dancing on the dance floor. Some random beat played in the background of the chorus of voices. You couldn't even hear the words. I guess this is club music...I've never understood why this is all they play... "I don't even know what song this is....Do you?" Felix directed his question toward Aclain.

Aclain just laughed. Her hands were above her head, reaching up high as she danced, and her hips swaying. "Never heard any of it!" She laughed. She was dancing against other people, not caring about anything. The alcohol effects were a bit greater now after the drink she had just had. She didn't even remember what it was, just that it felt good.

Felix laughed at Aclain's response. I guess the easiest way to forget is to loose yourself.... Felix started dancing, not caring who he was dancing with nor how he was dancing. He had to admit - he was having fun. He moved from dance partner to dance partner, some sticking around for longer than others. His brain was still fizzy, but it didn't matter. Everyone he danced with was more smashed than he was. No one would even notice his tipsy state. He moved around the dance floor, but he never really strayed far from Aclain. Whether it was the way the dance floor flowed, or something he was subconsciously doing, he didn't know or care. He came here to forget, and that's what he was going to do.

Aclain smiled when she was matched up with Felix. "Couldn't stay away?" She asked. She noticed that the song changed, but she still didn't know it. She had danced with multiple people, and gained a few bucks and beers. She was dancing against Felix for now, until the crowd shifts.
