Species: Pixie
Description: Cylena stands at 5'2, and has ivory skin and gorgeous gold eyes. Her hair is black, cut just past her shoulder blades, and surprisingly neat for how curly is it. Like all Faeries, she is extremely pretty, and she has dragonfly wings that are the same color as her eyes and about 2/3 of her height each. Her wings don't usually appear to be there unless she wants them to be (Lena likes wearing blue, and light colors.

Personality: Cyl, due to being Faerie, can not tell a lie, but like her kind, is good add twisting the truth. That doesn't mean she does it a lot though; she's pretty honest as Pixies go. She is helpful when she can be, and loves books (and shiny things, but she's gotten better at not "borrowing" that stuff from the shadowhunters), and fairly girly stuff. That isn't to say she can't fight, because she can kick butt when she wants. She lives with the Shadowhunters, because they met her on a mission, and she decided she wanted to stay with them, and there was nothing they could do about it (when they wanted to).

Jack woke up to his internal alarm clock. It was around 5 or six in the morning. He groaned as he got up and walked to his dresser. His room was a mess. Blades lay everywhere with a few of his study books on his desk. He put on a black shirt that clung close to his skin and black gear pants. He then left his room to go to the kitchen.

Kade was already in the kitchen, making breakfast. Her parents were good friends with Jack's, and they had apparently decided that it would be good for her to stay with a different family for a while. The Shadowhunter rolled her eyes just remembering it. Because she was a guest in their home, she often woke up fairly early to make breakfast. She loved to cook and did it a lot, but it was also her way of thanking their Faircross family. "Morning, Jack," she whispered, over the sound of eggs and bacon frying but still fairly quietly.

"Morn' Kade." Jack replied after barely hearing Kade speak. He had an accent to his voice from being brought up in England. He smelled the eggs and bacon. "Anything on the 'To Do' list today?" He asked as he leaned against a wall. He played with one of the daggers on his gear pants. His weapon of choice was a long sword, but he always held a few daggers if the situation called for them. He wasn't a bad shot. He threw one in the air and caught it in his hand. He had a few cuts on his hands from messing up with the catch, but he's learned from then.

Kade sighed and glanced over at Jack. "Stop showing off; there's no one here but me, and I don't feel like getting cut because you throw a knife a bit too far," she said, flipping two of the eggs before carefully putting the bacon on a plate with paper towels to soak up the grease. A pot of grits bubbled on the stove. Kade was from the United States south, and it showed in her cooking. Surprisingly, she didn't have an accent, probably because neither of her parents did. She'd grown up in the south but they'd recently returned to England.

"Who said I was showing off?" Jack said defensively, catching the knife and throwing his hands to the side. He slid the knife back into it's slot and leaned against the wall again. The kitchen here was quite small compared to others. One time, Jack had seen the London kitchen when they had their annual Christmas Ball. The size of the kitchen could feed hundreds of guests for a a few months.

Kade shrugged and plated the remaining food before stirring the grits a few times. "I did," she answered. "Oh, and would you mind setting the table? Plates, bowls, forks, spoons, napkins." She quickly put a new filter in the coffee maker and began to make a pot. The tea was almost ready and they'd finish at about the same time. Making breakfast was a rhythm she'd mastered quickly.
