Carolina led the party at a trot, moving from cover to cover in an attempt to evade the eyes of any other wolf. As the space between two shrubs gave way to a long stretch of grass in decent view of the pack, she stopped. "Uh oh," she said, naïvely doing little to keep her voice at a whisper, "Looks like we'll have to go really fast across this clearing, one at a time."

Wendigo looked up from the beetle he had been pestering, ears pricked forward towards the faint sound that had just rang out. His head tilted left in a curious pose and watched for any signs of movement. A short tail poked out of the bush where the noise had come from and quickly dissappeared. The young male's eyes widened as he realized that he recognized that tail. He stood, much to the beetle's relief, and ran off up the mountain towards his mother's den.

Veena giggled and licked Carolina's cheek "Quiet silly sissy!!" She whispered, ears down and tail low. She slipped past Carolina "Watch and learn, sibs!" She hissed, slipping out of the brush and dashing, ears down and tail low, towards the next patch of cover. She moved low to the ground, like she was stalking a piece of prey. She had been practicing with her da, and save for her awkward foot placing, had a rather good first stalking stance.

Carolina followed suit, charging through the grasses with her tail streaming out behind her. She leapt through the air when she made it about halfway, the ground dissapearing from under her feet as her mouth lolled open, tongue wagging from the side of her mouth. One paw hit the ground correctly, but the other gave out, making her tumble head over hills into her den-sister.

Wendigo | Male | 2 months | Sigma Tau

Wendigo bounded into the expansive Alpha's den, maneuvering the entrance without trouble. He wove under Annie's leg, ignoring the two males in the cave. "Mooom," he chirped, "I saw something in some bushes. Can you come look with me? I think it was Sissy, but I don't know! Maybe it's something that will eat me, so I need you to come see!"

Veena | Sigma(Tau) SR

Veena watched her den sister as she leaped, her head tilted comically and a grin plastered on her face - until she realized her sister was coming down at her. Her ears fell on top of her head and she started to scramble backwards. Too late. She gave a small yelp as the den sister tumbled into her and fell on her back, her smaller wolf sister flopped and stretched out on top of her, Veena breaking her fall.

Kenai tipped her head towards her largest son, and blinked in surprise "Wen! Im in a den meeting right now!" She scolded quietly, her eyes stern. She glanced up to Kerrin, Storm, and Annie and frowned lightly "Kerrin, will you call Soren over here to get Wen? Wen, son, next time talk to your uncle about this stuff. He's your guard, remember? And nothing bad is going to reach you all the way down here. While Sunrise doesnt have enough members right now, we have an adequate Royal Guard to keep you Tau and you den mates safe." She reached down to lick his ears "So. Go talk to your uncle and tell him i want another two wolves on guard duty."

Axle gradually slowed to a stop, knowing his sisters wouldn't notice. The Tau knew this was wrong despite being a young age, the male pelted off into the den. "Mommy mommy!!!" His voice was panicked, "Carolina and Veena are trying to attack Duffall!" The young wolf not yet mastering the 'k' sound. His fur was ruffled, looking towards where his sisters were last.

"Sorry," Wendigo apologised as he drooped his ears, but didn't make a sound as he listened to his mother. "Yes Mom," he murmured, avoiding the she-wolf's gaze.

Kerrin | Male | 5 years | Beta

Kerrin stood, stretching, and began to nudge the small cub forward toward the exit. "C'mon, Wendigo," he murmured, escorting him out to the open air. "I'll see you later, Annie, Alpha Kenai. Storm," he said, humor in his tone, "Make sure to come find me when you're done here." His son rolled his eyes playfully, but nodded his head.

Kenai smiled at the exiting pair and hummed "Will do, Kerrin. Thank you!" She called, but not a moment later Axle came bounding in, tattling on his sisters. She scowled gently at him and gave a huff "Where is my brother in all this? Half the cubs are HERE!" She grumbled under her breath, standing and dipping her bead respectfully to Annie "I am so sorry, i will be back shortly." She hummed, nosding to Storm as well, before nudging Axle out a bit roughly, scolding "How many times do i have to tell you all? Dont come into the Alpha's - mummy's - den when i am in a meeting. It's bad manners and looks bad on you pups and me. Do you want to look shameful -" now that she was in range of Kerrin and Wendigo as well she glanced at both of her sons " - both of you?" With a sigh she looked at Axle "Now, where are they?"

With a small whine, she shoved Carolina off her and into the brush, flattening herself "Mum's out of her meeting, Carry! We need to hurry up, NOW!" She pushed Carolina towards the top of the hill, panicking.

Carolina cambered off of her sister and flattened her ears, rushing to climb the hill. "Duskfall's this way, c'mon," she instructed, bounding forward and praying that she wouldn't be caught.

Kerrin looked back and cracked a smile, "Same thing?" He circled back to stand beside the alpha, Wendigo meeting his brother to murmur what he had seen. "If this isn't a perfect definition for having cubs, I don't I now what is," he quipped, waiting for the cubs to point out the little fugitives.

Veena followed her sister up the hill, her tail tucked in fear. As they crested the hill, she lost her footing at the very top with a yelp, and scrabbled for a hold on the gravelly surface before descending down the other side, tumbling head over paws down the shrubbery til at last she attained a pawhold on the rough, dry ground. She looked back up the hill, fuzziness litering her head as she located 3 of her den sister. Wait. She blinked and closed her eyes to clear her head, and opened them to a throbbing headache. She waved her tail to signal that she was ok to Carolina, and began picking her way cautiously through the shrubland on this side of their hill camp.

Kenai | Alpha SR

Kenai sighed quietly when Kerrin commented about parenthood and she gave him a wry smile, mixed with a little 'I'll get you later' look. She regarded the two boys "Well at least I know these two are rule-followers. They'll make good pack followers one day i bet." With a shake of her head, she looked down the hill, eyes raking the bottom of the hill for their siblings. Himeru. Luna. Wait. Where is Luna headed? Upon closer inspection, she noticed the small runt sneaking around in the shrubbery, and she frowned //Looks like I've got another strange little one. "Luna!" She called, noting that for now Himeru seemed to be behaving herself with Soren's....less than watchful gaze.... noticing with a grim scowl that he seemed not to really be watching her, just looking in her dirextion thoughtfully. She'd have to give him a firm talking to later about all this. She couldn't handle them while she was doing Alpha duties.

Luna perked her ears in shock, gazing at the Alpha, not knowing what to do. "What?" She asked, tilting her head. She flattened her ears and arched back. What if the alpha punishes me? She thought, curling her tail under her. (That time when you can't think through screaming ppl.)

Axle gave a loud growl, snapping down on his moms foot. "THEY ARE GOING TO DUFFAL!!!!" He glared at Kenai, fur bristled as he ran back out of the cave and towards soren. "Uncle Soren! Mommy's not listening!! Carolina and Veena are going to Duffall!"

"Or leaders," Kerrin remarked, glancing over to the Alpha for a brief moment. He straightend his gaze, watching as the smallest cub in the pack, and another one of Kenai's adoptees, approached them with a diminutive, submissive posture. As Axel pounced on his mother's paw and yelled something almost incomprehensible, the beta couldn't help but let put a small chuckle as he figured out what the cub was saying. "I think he means Duskfall."

Carolina whipped around as she heard her den-sister tumble and whined with concern. "Are you sure you're okay," she asked, pressing on towards open fields. [Short because I have to wake up early.]

Vilotta | Female | 3 Years | Loner

The dark brown female paced outside the pack borders, she was hungry but she wasn't stupid. Packs were dangerous to mess with, especially big ones with plenty of resources. She paced once more before she looked behind her, nothing await her there, she sighed and potentially signed her death warrant as she passed through the border into pack territory. She padded her way carefully towards a small rocky outcropping.
She slinked her way across the open feeling completely exposed until she could hide behind a large rock. She peered around it carefully before she made her way to the top and gazed around her looking for any source of food or movement. She was hungry and a bit skinny but she fared very well for a loner. The young wolf sighed and laid down on her belly not daring to cross deeper into their territory.
Just as she was about to get up and head off, a plump rabbit appeared. Her mouth started to water and she licked her chops before she carefully rose to her feet and moved out of range. She peered around the rock again and watched as the rabbit unknowningly crossed into her line of sight and turned its back to her. She crouched low to the ground and dug her paws into the dirt, just as she did so the wind shifted directions and the rabbit stood, then ran. She cursed and took off after it as fast as she could. She started to gain but was thrown off by the rabbits quick change in directions. She growled in frustration before noticing a slight change in the rabbits posture, leaning towards the left. She smiled to herself and pounced right as soon as it changed direction, allowing her to successfully scoop the rabbit up in her jaws and skid to a halt to snap its neck.

(also, Cora bab. the lake is the camp's main area. She'll not only have noticed the smells of every wolf in the camp, and the constantly traveled area around the camp)

Kenai smiled gently at her smallest charge and licked her nose "Relax, Lu. Don't go following your den-sisters, ok? They're about to get into some very bad trouble for leaving camp." She regarded Kerrin with sly look "I'm not as old as you, old boy - they don't need to be good leaders for another few years yet. And I can speak Axle, he's had a lisp since he could talk". She nuzzled her son and tucked her tail around him "I'm aware they are going to Duskfall, don't freak out, Axle. I will handle it....or more precisely, I'm going back to my meeting, and Uncle Soren is going to get his head in his duty and out of the clouds." She nudged Luna and Wendigo after Axle "Go to the nursery you three while Soren go gets Cary and Vee."

Soren | RG SR

Soren ducked out of day-dreaming at the sound of his little nephew yelling at him, a little confused as to what the pup was saying until he noticed an irritated Kenai and a lax Kerrin up on the hillside, knowing that his sister was currently supposed to be in a meeting, he laid back his ears, and jumped down to his nephew, quietly consoling the pup and looking up at his sister as she regarded him. He pinned his ears and flashed the whites of his eyes, hoping she could tell.

Veena | Tau SR

Veena shook her head and frowned "Yeah I'm fine! Hurry up let's go!" She dashed off to overtake her smaller sibling "Come on before mum catches up!!" She continued to dart through the open plains, running for the forests. (short)
