Malam chewed a chunk of rabbit, after noticing many wolves eating, as he thought. (His thoughts) I really don't like those rogue fleabags.... Perhaps I could just deal with them for a little while? But they make one hostile move...and I'll pounce at the offer. Ok, my decision has been made. Malam realized he had finished the tasty morsel, and decided to approach another wolf. A friendly chat?

He padded up to Adsila, calling a greeting. "Hello," He said, almost shyly. (Malam is soft around females, because of his backstory. o_o) "How's the spring season?" He chortled, keeping his shoulders skyward and back squared, although tail a bit lower and ears less perked at the higher ranking female.

Nova | Noble | 3

Nova looked at Adsila in alarm "A bad kappa? Never! In my opinion you're the most reliable leader in this pack after Lucifer- Some of the others just don't see the wisdom in actually listening to you, the blockheads. Wolves don't get promoted to kappa and zeta for nothing you know" he said, finishing with a smile. When Malam approached he took another bite of the deer and chewed, allowing the other two wolves to converse.

A smile spread onto her face and her tail wagged as Nova complimented her. It was nice to know at least one wolf believed in her. "Thank you Nova, I needed to hear that" she nudged his shoulder with her nose in thanks. Looking up she had notices Malam approach the pair, so she gave a polite nod of greeting as was customary for her. "Greetings Malam and for me the spring is going well. How're you today?" she responded. Her tone was polite sand cheerful as usual, but whilst waiting for a response she was eating her meal.

I noticed the wolves who choose to continue on their own things. "Nova, Malam, Adsila your help would be very much appreciated in the territory sweep." I called, stopping my tail from giving an irritated twitch. Lucifer wants us to do a territory sweep, and you think the pack would be all over it. Or are they liking all these new comers? I flicked my tail slightly annoyed now, before looking over the wolves

Now this damn Zeta is pushing my buttons, I'm not going to take it any more she told herself. Rising to her paws she stared Nakoma straight in the eyes, it wasn't her usual soft look on her face but one of stern anger. 2In case you hadn't noticed some wolves who have just hunted are trying to eat. If you didn't know we happen to need to eat to live and more importantly have energy to do anything. I will take these two on a territory sweep once my belly is full so I don't pass out to become useless. I know my tone is harsh but I am hungry and tired and need this rest, therefore am in a most irritable mood" she told the zeta. Now she turned back to her food, settling down and continuing to eat, she was only ever so grumpy when she was hungry or tired. "Apologies again for my harsh rudeness, I turn into an angry badger when hungry and tired" she knew her words had been harsh to the zetas polite request.

My became taught as they started to pull back into a snarl as I got ready to make a sharp tongued remark. I stopped, and forced my snarl down, before turning away. Not right now, Nakoma. I would wait for the right time and place to speak my mind to the Kappa. I flicked my ears, not caring what she had to say as she walked away. I haven't ate either, you sheltered wolf! I hissed before pushing the thoughts aside. I looked at Arielle, and waited tell she met my gaze before giving a light nod. I don't think she's eaten either. "Arielle, have you ate?" I asked firmly. The apprentice may be earning my respect, but she still has to think of her health. An apprentice thinking about her pack more than herself...doing more than some. . I gave a small smirk, before wiping it away, along with the thoughts again.

(uhhh... just saying, I know the kappa gave strict orders for Char not to eat till everyone else has, and she waited, then she asked the Noble, Pyre if everyone has eaten so she can eat too. Have you jumped back in time? sorry it's just a little confusing...)

Aela sighed at the resumed snaps and growls of the zeta and kappa. She didn't know how their pack was supposed to function if their leaders couldn't get along. At times like these she was glad to be just a scout and not one with the burden of authority on her shoulders. She listened to Char ask her sister if everyone had eaten and felt a twinge of compassion for the omega. "There's plenty of food, Char," she said in a friendly tone. "You can get yourself something to eat since it seems like the others won't be eating for a while. Just be sure to work hard tomorrow." She glanced at Pyre, hoping the noble wouldn't contradict her. Being related to high ranking wolves helped when making calls but she didn't want to make decisions above her jurisdiction either.

Nova tried not to smile as Adsila resumed eating after snapping at Nakoma. "Long day, eh?" he said with an amused tone. He wolfed down the rest of his food in a couple of giant bites; having a large size was good for that at least, before rising to his paws. He couldn't help giving Nakoma a sympathetic look. They were all trying hard to do their jobs even if they did clash every now and again.

Malam decided to take an easy day, perhaps chat and get to know his fellow wolves, as he wasn't well known around camp. He, although hesitantly, grappled onto the ground with his forepaws and rose. He shook out his midnight colored fur, taking a glance at the warm patch of sunlight he had previously lay in. Malam turned, making his tail was risen accurately to his rank, as dominance was something in a pack, and began to approach the most populated part of camp.

He saw Aela, and as not for getting along with his own gender, he approached. (Malam is too competitive sometimes o_o)
"Hello, I saw what you did for Char..." He was hesitant, thinking over his words carefully. He didn't want a bad rep with the nobles, Kappa, or Zeta. Especially the last two. "Your very kind hearted, despite possible trouble with the kappa, I respect that." He wondered for a moment why Aela was a lower rank, but shrugged it off, brave wolves deserve daring ranks after all. And any wolf deserved respect. "And I shouldn't be saying that considered ranks...." He, once more, briefly wondered if it was against the Wolf's Laws, he'd have to review those...

(Nakoma and Maiara haven't eaten. And I'm almost positive that Arielle hasn't either. But Char was given approval by a higher ranked wolf, and won't be in trouble. I think...)
Nakoma~3~Zeta
I fixed the pack with a hard gaze, loosing my patience. If I have to pull the teeth and claws out I will. I softened ny gaze for a moment as I noticed Nova's sympathetic look. I broke our gaze, and hardened my gaze again. I can't be too mad at them. They're trying. And Nova is being nice. I softened my gaze, realizing I am being a little unfair to the rest of them for the actions of a few. I let my tail twitch angrily, hoping my pack would catch on.

Aela | Scout | Mentions Malam

Aela looked at Malam in surprised silence for a few moments, having not expected him to approach her "Thanks Malam," she said in a small voice. She couldn't help being slightly intimidated by the large male, though she knew he was a respectable wolf. "I-i'm not really though..." the tawny she-wolf trailed off, torn between wanting to be modest and not daring to have a higher rank assume that she disregarded his praise.

As for Ads and Char, I had to halt as I was interacting with Sunfire who was absent. Time has carried on, just imagine Nova and Ads were discussing for a while before eating)

With an annoyed growl she rose to her paws "I don't feel much like eating any more. I'll patrol alone" she told the group, although keeping her voice on the quieter side. I give up on even trying to be Kappa if everyone is just going to overrule anything I say a deep sigh came from her frame. With her tail and head low she exited the camp and went off to do the patrol, her spirits dampened to say the very least. It was clear she had no fight in her and even though her belly was still rather empty she carried on. Pack first as usual, even if I haven't eaten for a couple of days so others could eat themselves. I'm sure I'll be fine it's just a quick patrol she pushed herself on mentally and physically. She was fatigued, she worked hard for her position but now she was considering giving it all up.

Arielle looked up abruptly, awoken from her thoughts, "Oh no, I guess I haven't had a meal yet. I had a little squirrel, but not like a full meal." She respectfully wagged her tail at the zeta. "May I- I mean have you? I don't want to eat before you." The gray apprentice lowered her head and her ears, "I don't mean to be disrepectful, but Zeta Nakoma, are you feeling alright? You seem a little angry." She immediately felt guilty once she had called attention to the zeta's disposition. "Wait, is it my fault? Have I done something," she thought worredly.
