Arielle hushed Noris, not wanting to give away their pranking plans. She giggled as the two pups wrestled and admired the glimmering stone Sianna had found. In the midst of being woken up and making plans with Noris, she had forgotten all about her own mate. The noble stood and paced toward Gem's den, poking her head inside to rouse the dark male.

Sianna | Junior

Sianna shoved Noris away from her with an angry snarl, though it sounded like a squirrels chatter coming from the tiny pup. She scrambled to her paws and shook her pelt free from debris. "Dung-brain!" she snapped, eyes flashing angrily. After mummy had just made her coat so nice and shiny too! "So what if I like pretty things? At least I'm not a stinky male like you." She stuck her tongue out at him and dashed off back to the nursery, abandoning the rock she had collected in favour of her bedazzled lair.

Nova | Beta | Mentions Lucifer

Nova announced his presence outside the alphas den with a clearing of his throat before padding inside. It took him a good few seconds to comprehend the scene before him. "Lucifer..." he breathed, emerald eyes taking in the sight of the four fuzzy pups at her side. Trust their mysterious alpha to give birth without anyone finding out! He picked up on the sad mood however, and glanced at Tyrael, wondering what was the matter. He couldn't see that one of the pups hadn't made it.

Gem | Noble | Mentions Arielle

Gem licked Arielles nose when she stuck her head into the den, and gave her a grin "Morning Ari. No need to wake me! Today I actually didn't sleep in!" The black male walked out to join her, followed closely by his grey pelted brother. His copper eyes took in the camp and he smiled. It seemed that things were already lively. Since the pups had been born everyone had been in a much better mood, and Nova made a great dad too, though the larger male hadn't been glad to find out about the crush Sianna had on Sky.

Sky | Noble

Sky walked around his brother, nodding a hello to Arielle. He yawned, teeth flashing in the sunlight, and stretched out like a feline. He drowsily padded over to the kill pile and lay down where he could reach it at his leisure. Soon a thigh bone was being crunched between his teeth, the cracks resonating amongst the camp. The squeals and growls of the pups hurt his ears and the bright sunlight seemed to be frying his retinas. He just wanted to enjoy his marrow and go for a run to clear his mind.

Aela | Scout | Mentions Noris

Aela nipped Noris' ear lightly and growled "Go apologize Noris! You know not to tease your sister. And now you have to be groomed again."

Ty nodded to the smallest of the four and mouthed 'take it away'. The alphas head buried into his chest fur as sobs ripped through her being violently. Though the male wasn't her mate she found comfort in his actions and hid her eyes from the scene that shook her to her core. 3 of her 4 had made it, though one of them was halfway gone, her tail subconsciously wrapped around the 3 living ones before falling silent again Ty's stomach.

Noris gave a huff at his mother "Why should i? If we dont bite this is the butt she'll always be like that! You cant be a good fighter or hunter if you cant get your paws dirty." Noris scuffed the dirt to prove his point and glance at Aela "If she hates smelly things and things that dont look great, she wont like being a healer either! She'll have absolutely no use in the pack and won't be able to do anything because she's too pretty to get her paws dirty!"

Arielle leaned into Gem, angling her nose toward the taller male's ear. "You think we'll have little ones like them one day," she murmured, so no other wolf could ear. She still had more than five months until she was able to have cubs, but fantasies of a perfect family still danced in her imagination.

Nova | Beta
Nova nodded, understanding dawning on his face. He bowed to Lucifer first before gently taking the tiny pups scruff between his teeth and carrying it from the den. His heart was heavy with the loss, as though one of his own had passed away. When he reached the large, elm lined clearing that was the packs burial ground he found a soft patch of earth and dug at it until there was a well sized hole. The dead pup lay on a patch of clovers while he layered the bottom of the hole with some daisies plucked from the clearing edge, and Nova then moved it to the grave and filled the hole back in. "Rest easy little one,'" he spoke into empty air, his gaze on the dark patch of earth. "May your spirit find greater fortune in the next life." After a minutes vigil he returned to the camp and waited quietly outside Lucifers den, wanting to give her and Tyrael some privacy while she grieved.

Aela laughed at Noris words. "And what do you know of nipping things in the bud, my sweet little pea?" she teased, and crouched so they were eye level. "Your sister has no need to fight, hunt or collect herbs at this age. I don't do any of those things and I still make a pretty good scout while staying pretty." She winked at him and smiled. "Now go apologize before she picks up on your pranking habits and makes you regret it.'

Noris scowled and made a pouting face before grumbling and stomping off towards the nursery calling in "Sorry! There, better? She still should get out of this habit." He grumbled, his fur bristling so he looked like a spiky ball of fur with a sour expression.

Sianna heard her brother call his apology but by then she was already rearranging the feathers by her mothers nest and had pretty much forgotten the whole ordeal. She didn't share Aelas tendency to hold grudges, or rather her attention span was too short for that. Her favourite feather one one from an owl, and she liked grooming it to sleek perfection as though it were her own pelt. The red pup was rather smug that her brother could not boast an equal collection. "I don't ca~re!" she called out to Noris.

Gem felt his ears grow hot and be avoided her gaze from embarrassment. He couldn't help but grow excited at the idea though. "M-maybe one day," he stammered, his tail tip wagging slightly. He'd enjoyed the antics of the young pups in camp and had thought once or twice of the possibility of having his own. Eventually he met her gaze again with a gentle smile. "So long as they take after us and not their uncle!"

Noris stuck out his tongue in mock disgust at the sight of her preening her feather collection and stompwd back to Aela "She said" at this point Noris went into a position that modeled her sitting on her haunches and stroking the feather with a paw and licking it at the same time, an exaggerated pose of her current, " 'I dont caree~~' " trying his best to mock her tone, he rolled his eyes.

After awhile the exhausted and mourning mother fell dead asleep, and Ty left her to rest. He bowed down to the beta, "she needs to rest... Don't mention the 4th pup to anyone ... It might upset her worse. Let's let her rest for a few hours before announcing the birth." His multi colored eyes scanning over he pups already playing in camp

Donovan let out an exaggerated whine when his source of milk and warmth moved away. His paws scrabbling near uselessly against the den floor as he moved back around trying to find his food source.

Noris' ears pricked when Arielle commented to him, and a sly smirk passed his curled lips for a moment before it was just a normal grin "Oh, that's right! Sorry mum, see ya later!!" He pelted back towards Arielle and seeing the two mates he stuck out his tongue "Eww! Get a den!" He grabbed Arielle's tail and began to tug "Come ONN, we gotta go before he comes back!"

Aela watched her son run off with a bemused expression, and turned to Pyre. "Should I be worried? I don't have a good feeling about those two being in cahoots with each other.

Nova nodded to Tyrael. "I understand. I'll make sure she has her privacy until she is ready." He himself wasn't exactly in the mood for heaps of interaction either. Seeing a dead pup only served to remind him why he had been exiled from ShadowPack, and why he had been hunted down by them two years later.

Gem | Noble

Gem backed away from Arielle and Noris with a chuckle, and waved them off while ignoring Noris' comment. Even he and Sky hadn't been so troublesome as Aelas two when they were pups

Arielle smirked, "Oh don't worry, we already have one." Giggling, she shook the cub from her tail and stood, scouting out an alternate route to the healer's den before bounding toward it, stopping to look back, "C'mon, Little Mouse!"
