Hiya Rusty! I know that feeling all too well myself. It took me forever to figure out whether I was coming or going and if I was even going to identify out there once I did. But having known many others, I can definitely tell you that knowing others and having them around, even if it isn't necessarily for advice but just for companionship can really help.

hi, i'm dottie! I was born female. Recently I have started to feel a bit uncomfortable in my own body. My pronouns are she/they/it, sometimes he. I still have yet to figure out exactly who i am :0) I just think of myself a tomboy, but sometimes i'd rather be a male than a female. Still trying to figure out which gender I should be labeled as!

i came out of the transgender closet to myself and my closest friends around this time of year i think... two years ago? and identified as genderfluid for about six months before that due to being pressured into being female by my ex (moral of the story, kids: dont date people who are controlling it doesnt end well at all) so that brings my total for being out of some sort of trans closet to two and a half years!
also im uh kind of a dick sometimes without realizing it (thx sagittarius bluntness) so im gonna apologize to everyone for that right off the bat oops

Hello, my name is Xander. He/him pronouns, please.
I was born female, and trained young to be as close to the 'perfect female' as possible. I was often compared to Shirley Temple, pressured to be just like her by my parents. But even those attempts, looking back at them now, were rather fruitless. My parents showered me in Barbie, where I chose sports-related barbies, horse-riding barbies, and the cars (Jeeps and trucks, no less). I was put in dresses and skirts and hated it. I remember purposely ripping tights at school until my mother gave up and dressed me only in pants. As I got older, I labeled myself in the "Tomboy group". I did crush on guys and girls, so I didn't understand why I felt like a guy, but still crushed on both. I was fairly sheltered, having been raised with no knowledge of gender transition or gender preferences. Girls liked boys. I was born a girl. I have to like boys. When I got into my first relationship, it was a female, and my parents insisted it was just a phase.
About two years ago, perhaps a little longer, I realized what I really was. I had dated a transvestite for a few years and a lot of what I learned with them makes more sense to me now. I do want transition surgery, but the price is very high here, and with no insurance, I can't even start to see the doctors I need to see to start the process.
My closest friends and current boyfriend are supportive of me going through transition, though my family has no idea. I haven't a clue how to tell them. We're not really close anyway. One of my closest and oldest friends is still a tad homophobic and it does worry me that I'll lose her in the process when it does become time.
I'll cut off my rambling there. ^^;
I still find myself peeling away the parts of me that were trained to be a certain way. I also have anxiety disorders, and panic easily, miswording things and coming off incoherent or else really rude. I apologize in advance for this. It has caused me problems on another game site. However, since I changed my name/pronouns on that site, I find myself a /lot/ easier to deal with.

Ah, I think I forgot to introduce myself. I'm Daft, biromantic demisexual Spanish, and I'm not really sure about my gender yet ^^' I've been identifying with genderflux for a time, but now I'm currently just as demigender. I use all pronouns :3 Glad to meet you all ❤
