Hey hi hello ^^ I'm Nic and this is me hi there

I'm 28 and have been transitioning for about 5 years. Been on T about that long and had top surgery about 4 years ago. Bottom surgery is something I've never been interested in. [Edit: I keep forgetting I've had a hysterectomy!] Sometimes I blog on tumblr about being a trans gay guy on grindr, scruff and the like.

I consider myself genderqueer/nonbinary, but I still want to be seen as a dude and use male pronouns. I just want to still be able to wear feminine clothing and paint my nails, and wear my hair in cute queer cuts, and not be continually "ma'am"ed at work >__>

I'm basically the guy all the ladies at my work try to befriend because I'm so unabashedly "fierce" :P. I'm also trying to get my job to change their non-discrimination policy to include gender identity and expression and to write up an action plan for when someone transitions on the job, like I did.

Let's see, what else... my family is all right-wing Christian Republicans so I've left most of my family behind. My mom is pretty cool - doesn't understand it really, but understands at least that transitioning was something I had to do for myself and now I'm happier. That she was a single mom raising an only child helped, I think.

I'm pretty die-hard polyamorous and into my local kink scene. I've been divorced already, that was fun (not really). Getting married to try to save a failing relationship is a bad idea guys, mk, don't do it XD;

I'm always happy to talk to other trans folk about transitioning, family issues, work issues, surgery, hormones, whatever I can help with!

Hm, I haven't really introduced myself to most of you yet!

I'm Noah, 20, ftm. I began socially transitioning at about 14 (though I always insisted going by a masculine/neutral version of my birthname). I've been on T since Feb. 2012 and I'm planning to get top surgery as soon as I can get a semester or two off from school. I'm pre-vet and it's a very physical program, so I need complete flexibility/mobility, but anyway... I love animals and reading and volunteering and cooking. I feel like my whole ~story~ doesn't particularly belong here.
