Sign-Ups OOC Thread :) The year is... Well, that really doesn't matter, does it? All that you need to know is that something is WRONG. Why would someone start an organization like this? We've started to call it "Biohazard" thanks to that symbol they put everywhere... Who do you support? Do you think that this government is fine how it is, with the higher classes protecting the lower? Or are you okay with possible revolution? Will you stand beside it and embrace a new society? --- The setting is a small town surrounded by woods inhabited by elves, the tribes few and far apart. Some humans live in settlements outside the town in the woods, alone. They are shut-ins and don't like to be messed with. Sometimes they come into town and sell things. Weather: Clear. No sign of rain. Season: Spring. Not too hot, not too cold. Feeling in the air: Strangely tense. Don't tell me it's about that stupid injection again?? --- RECENT NPC EVENTS: At a politics debate in the middle of town, a figure was caught on video. The figure's identity is unknown, as well as age, gender, height, ect. Their face was hidden by a gas mask and they wore a hood. They quickly fled, but they left a Biohazard mark on the wall they were next to, spray painted on. It's the talk of the town. Biohazard set off a bomb, injuring a few people. People are already pointing fingers at the elven races. After all, haven't they always hated humans? The elven tribes might not take kindly to this once they find out... The government is offering rewards for people who wish to help in investigations and whoever can give logical evidence to the actions of Biohazard. The explosion has put the spotlight on them even more than before... This action wasn't smart. A member of Biohazard's eyes glow bright red. Character SheetsNo thread generated. Kenia|19|She/Her||Elf||N/A ~~~ Oil spill|Mentions: Eldrin and Emrios Kenia nodded listening to her, "Yeah, I know what you mean, and yeah. I live in the forest we were just going through actually." She smiled brightly at the elf before her, noticing it was taking Emrios a while, but she hadn't heard much since he had gotten in there, so nothing bad could've been happening, right? She wondered, looking at the garage Emrios had entered for a while, but turned her attention back to the elf in front of her. 0 players like this post! Like? |

Charlie || ??? || They/Them || N/A Location: Forest-Charlie's house/Chemical spill || Mentions: Emrios Charlie simply huffed in reply. "I don't like humans. I don't like elves. That's how shut-ins are, or are supposed to be. A lot of people prance around saying that they're shut-ins, but what do they do? They go crawling back to civilization after the first time an elf looks in their direction! Ha!" The small human frowning after saying that, however, looking up at the cabinets. "... I really don't side with the humans. It'd be wonderful if nobody existed at all." With that being said, they reached into one cabinet, sorting through bottles. "I have a literal chemical spill in my backyard, elf. I have to do something to occupy my time." They pulled out, finally, a bottle of cleaning detergent and some bleach. Don't ask why that stuff was in the kitchen, please. The place is so unorganized, you might as well find a squirrel in the fridge. "I'm no scientist. I'm a mechanic. Yes, a mechanic that lives in the woods is pretty strange, especially since I don't like people coming into my house. I build things for a living, hence the stuff over there." They thrust a thumb behind them at a table with a light on it, some nuts and bolts and the such sitting there and a half-finished project on it. The light doesn't work. 0 players like this post! Eldrin||23||She/Her||Elf||Ice Summoning Charlie's house||Kenia and Emrios Eldrin nodded thoughtfully; if she lived here and the three of them stayed together, did that mean they might go stay with the native elves? And if so, would their leader(s) know about her and what would they do about it if they did? Kenia seemed fine, nice even, but she didn't know Eldrin's story, what she could do. The pale elf dreaded to think that she'd be shunned --again-- once the truth came out, but she didn't want to leave Kenia and Emrios. She was starting to like them. "Does Emrios live here too, or do you know?" El asked curiously, unconciously adjusting her bag on her shoulder as she glanced around. Her icy eyes landed on the garage; how long had it been since Emrios went in? She wasn't sure, but it was starting to feel like a long time. There hadn't been any noise, but people could be killed in silence. "You think he's okay? He's been in there a while..." 0 players like this post! Like? |

Charlie || ??? || They/Them || N/A Location: Forest-Charlie's house/Chemical spill || Mentions: Emrios Charlie growled softly, almost like a warning, but that was it. "I don't fix everything, elf." Ah, so his name was Emrios. "... Charlie. My name is Charlie." They closed the cabinets, walking over to the desk and pulling a blanket over the objects on it. "... That's nothing. It's not finished yet, so it's none of anyone's business." But.... Under the blanket, for a split second, it looked like something flashed. It was just a little light, and it could've just been from the project. Charlie picked up a pistol off of the couch and slid the weapon under that piece of furniture before sitting on it. "Why'd you take a dip in that chemical deathmass, anyway?" 0 players like this post! Like? |

Kenia|19|She/Her||Elf||N/A ~~~ Oil spill|Mentions: Eldrin and Emrios Kenia shook her head at the questions, "I have no idea where he lives, we never got to that, although he was pretty familiar with the forest, so if I had to say, probably in the forest, but that's just a guess." She shrugged, shifting her weight to her right leg and flexing her wings a few times. "I know, he has taken a while, but there was no signs of a struggle, although people can be killed in silence." She shrugged once again. "Although it could just be taking a while to find something that'll work." Kenia thought about it for a few seconds. 0 players like this post! Like? |

Charlie || ??? || They/Them || N/A Location: Forest-Charlie's house/Chemical spill || Mentions: Emrios Charlie looked back at Emrios, not getting up from the couch, but instead giving him one of their crooked smiles. "Listen, Emrios. I have no companions. For all I care, humans and elves and kill each other off and I won't be affected. That's what a shut-in is supposed to be like." With that said, they stiffly rubbed their left shoulder, the one that was slightly injured by the other elf. It was healing quickly, they noted. "However, it was likely an elf I just met. She almost killed me, but I talked my way out of it. I had a few questions for her that I needed to know. She obliged, and I gave her some information. I suggest you listen up as well. "Biohazard is considered dangerous now. There is evidence now given that links elves and the group. The bomb that went off? It was made out of natural ingredients and things that people throw out. At least, they just said that on the news before you came in. A lot of people are considering that your race is responsible. Even the eyes are similar, as they spotted them." They spoke the last sentence with slight venom. "I don't care much for this, but part of me says that now is not the time for a war. Maybe someone should go talk to the branch of elves around here? There's a group of Aerial and ground elves that live not far from here, I've ran into them a few times myself. They don't like people or outsiders, but maybe it's a start. If you like, I can give you directions." They leaned back, thinking. "... Hey, where's that other elf that was with you earlier, anyway? Those elves I mentioned are quite... Violent sometimes. Especially the Aerials." 0 players like this post! Like? Edited on 03/01/16 @ 15:15:08 by Adamymous ☣ (#68231) |

[I'm back! I'm not sure how much time has passed in the RP, so I'm saying Aya has been following Charlie for a few days. I can fix it if I'm wrong.] Arvaya Lúthien Hunter||20 years old||She/her||Human mix||Shapeshifting -- Charlie's house/chemical spill || Tagged: Charlie, Emiros || The black pelted she-wolf had been following Charlie for a few days now, virtually undetected by the strange, sharp toothed human. She'd only left once, to hunt yesterday, and had brought down a small deer to fill her growling belly. Being this close to any lab, regardless of the fact it had been abandoned for near two centuries (something she had learned from the one called Charlie), made her fur prickle as unpleasant memories stabbed their way to the surface of her skull. It was this uneasiness, paired with the fact she'd had nothing to drink for the past three days, that drove her to announce her presence to the chatting pair. Still wearing the form of a slender back she-wolf with haunted silver eyes (the eyes were always the same, always unnerving, no matter what form she took), Aya took a few dainty steps towards the door of their house, and raked her claws down it, causing a loud sound. Giving a high-pitched bark, just in case Charlie and Emiros hadn't heard her, she sat patiently before the door now, looking as much like a lost dog as possible. Hopefully, the pair would think she was simply a lost pet, despite her tragic silver eyes which held so much more grief (the sadness always lingered, now matter how hard she tried to disguise it) then any normal wolf would experience. At best, they would let her in and she'd find alcohol to lap up, just to dull the edge. At worst, she'd be suspected and chased away, or found out. 0 players like this post! Like? |

Charlie || ??? || They/Them || N/A Location: Forest-Charlie's house/Chemical spill || Mentions: Emrios, Arvaya Charlie listened to the elf speak, and was about to reply when a horrible sound filled the room. Charlie instantly covered their ears, grimacing as the claws scraped against wood. Instinctively, the shut-in grabbed something-anything-and found themselves holding a knife before jumping up and looking at the door as Emrios opened it... "... A canine?" They seemed stunned, but the black wolf seemed like it meant no harm. Plus, it didn't look so well. Luckily, I have a plethora of water and red meat to spare. It's not like I can eat anything else. "Up north, there is a river. It's quite wide and deep, but you can cross it. There are stepping stones in the water that even I can cross with my... Unfortunate size. Once you cross that, you're going to see the forest change a bit. More conifers will appear. That's when you know you're going in the right direction. They live where the pine trees grow thick, and don't tell them about me! They're likely to kill you instantly if they think you know me at all." With that given, the elf left, and Charlie was left with the wolf. Hesitantly, they put the knife down and slowly knelt down, holding out a pale hand for the wolf. They made no usual clicking sound, but instead allowed their bright green eyes meet sad silver eyes. "I don't know why a wolf is here, but I have a bit of resources to spare. If you want some, I guess you can come in. I'll shut the door behind you." 0 players like this post! Like? |

Arvaya Lúthien Hunter||20 years old||She/her||Human mix||Shapeshifting -- Charlie's house/chemical spill || Tagged: Charlie, Emiros || The door swung open to reveal the elf. Behind him, snaggle toothed Charlie gripped a long blade with none of the ease that Aya herself would. Of course, as a wolf, she would not be holding any knives, so instead she reacted by backing up slightly, her slender pointed ears angling backwards in fear. Yet when Emiros complimented her, she gave a wolfish smile, her ears perking up once again. She watched the interaction between the human and the elf while the elf seemed to make his leave, and quietly stepped out of his way so he did not trip on her ebony tail as he exited, presumably off to find his other elven companions. As soon as he was gone, the one called Charlie put the knife aside, causing relief to flood Aya's body. She did not exactly fancy becoming a wolf steak. Huffing softly, she took a few cautious steps towards his outstretched hand, although her silvery eyes stubbornly refused to meet his. The tip of her onyx tail twitched, and finally she lightly sniffed his outstretched fingers. She'd forgotten how strongly humans smelled when in this form, and it took all her self control not to recoil. After a few moments (she figured she'd been polite), the skinny canine hastily backed up, lowering herself to her haunches and gazing at the small human. 0 players like this post! Like? |

Eldrin||23||She/Her||Elf||Ice Summoning Charlie's house||Kenia, Emrios, Charlie, Arvaya Eldrin nodded. "Oh, okay." Two locals elves then. If they hadn't heard of her, then maybe the elven leaders here hadn't either, and she could finally find a place to settle. She had been on the move for... 3 years now? Off an on, but still. The pale elf nodded her head in agreement. "That's what I was thinking..." She trailed off when a black wolf - a little small, but unmistakably a wolf - went up to the door of the house and scratched it before barking. That's... Strange. As far as she knew, wolves avoided humans. However, she was distracted from that thought when Emrios opened the door and she relaxed. So he was okay after all. She smiled a little, shaking her head. "Don't worry about it." She told him, then listened as he explained the rest of his intentions. El glanced back at Kenia and hesitated before replying. "... If its so bad that it may come to war... Well, I'll go. I'm just a traveler, I have nothing to tie me here. Besides, I came from North of here, and I might be able to help with locating them." She said slowly; she didn't want war, but she hoped that her presence wouldn't cause more harm than good. 0 players like this post! Like? |

Charlie || ??? || They/Them || N/A Location: Forest-Charlie's house/Chemical spill || Mentions: Arvaya, Elves (indirect) Charlie sighed in relief when the wolf didn't attack them. That's a good thing. They went to the door and closed the door, seeing the group of elves from before. They watched the group with narrowed eyes for a moment before closing the door. Yes, this should turn out splendidly. The small human looked back at the wolf, thinking. It seemed a bit hungry, maybe even thirsty. The chemical spill rid that part of the woods of a lot of its resources, so it wasn't uncommon. The wolf was most likely desperate. They went over to the cabinets and pulled out a bowl, filling it with water from the sink (which, turns out, was hard to hook up thanks to the original owner of the house after the elves caught wind of it). It wasn't the cleanest water as it came almost directly from a stream, but it wasn't contaminated by the chemicals. They set it down for the wolf before going to find some leftover meat from an earlier meal. 0 players like this post! Like? |
