Intro

Location: A Native American Indian Reserve in Northern Canada.

Life on the reserve can be rough on a dog. Canines run free throughout the reserve, often left unbothered by humans. Unless you have an owner to take care of you or a pack to watch your back it’s every dog for him or herself out here. Lone strays are liable to get roughed up or even worse, murdered. With so many dogs competing for land and food it’s best to stay with a group for your own protection.

If that wasn’t bad enough, the woodlands on the outskirts of the reserve are occupied by the hostile Wild Fangs, mainly led by a stern ridgeback by the name of Ashira. She rules with an iron paw, keeping her pack in line and on the top of the food chain.

RP plot originally created by NightSky01 (#52637). It was then taken over by Potatopaz, who has now passed it on to me! (Hopefully I'll be able to keep up the responsibility of running this and CoF!)

Radjka | Male | 3 Years |German Shepherd
Mentions: King, anyone who knows to heal ;-; >:3

Standing up on his paws, he wobbled slightly, and black danced in his vision. He squeezed his eyes shut, taking in a deep breath. He wasn't stupid; he knew he shouldn't have sat here as long as he had. He was probably going to catch an infection at this point, and then he'd be done for.
He walked forward, looking at the ground. Wow, there was a lot of his blood seeping into the grass. Some of it was King's, but most of it was his. How on earth was he not dead, or at least unconscious from blood loss? The question didn't make him feel better.
He stumbled away, trying to ignore the dizzy sensation. The fact that his wounds were a bit numb wasn't good. If he wanted to live - he wasn't sure if he did or not, really - then he'd better hurry to camp and ask someone to help him. He didn't know the pack yet, so he didn't know who was who, but they had to have someone that knew how to heal.
And so that's what Radjka did. He slumped to camp. He saw plenty of other dogs, and even King, which made him want to growl and whimper at the same time. Half of him expected King to jump onto his back and finish what he started, and he didn't turn around to check.
When he was in the middle of camp, lilting to one side, he called out to no one in particular. "Can... Can someone please help me? I-I don't feel so good." It felt like he was talking through cotton, and his eyes wanting to droop shut. He stood there for another moment, then his vision finally went black and he fell to the ground. His breath was shallow as his eyes drifted shut.
==
Lianna | Female | 2 Years |German Shepherd
Mentions: Ruger

Lianna didn't say anything to anyone else. She just stayed lying against Ruger's side, licking his forehead and wishing this hadn't happened. Though he was still passed out, she continued talking to him as if he was awake. Murmuring reassurances and apologies and anything she could in hopes of helping him in some way. At one point, she just set her head on top of his and closed her eyes, trying to forget the last hour.
==
(Partly added Sven's post in the end)
Ryu | Male | 2 Years |Siberian Husky
Mentions: Adsila, Babael, Sven

Ryu sighed, stretching out. He glared as a dog peeked his head into the cage, and he bared his teeth. When the dog left, Ryu turned back to Adsila. He was glad the female had accepted his apology, and even more so since she had apologized back. It warmed his heart - only slightly. A sincere, gentle smile was beginning to form on his face, when suddenly two humans walked up to their cage. The smile disappeared as if it had never occurred, and he let out a ferocious snarl. The humans watched him the way one would watch a poisonous snake. "So you said that one's yours?" one human asked the other, pointing at Adsila. Adsila was looking at the human with recognition, and Ryu didn't like it.
"Yes, that's my dog," the other man responded, smiling at Adsila. He moved to put a hand into the cage to pet her, and Ryu jumped forward with a growl. He quickly retracted his hand. "Ryu, don't!" Adsila growled, but the damage had been done. Guessing from the way Adsila's owner was eyeing him, Ryu wasn't going to be adopted by him. He'd just accidentally thrown his chance of escape down the drain. "Don't even think about it, dog," the other human barked out, lifting a weird stick object and waving it. Ryu knew it was supposed to be a threat, but he wasn't swayed.
He stayed still as the human opened the cage door, and they took Adsila out. She was looking around in vain, trying to see where Babael was, but her human attached a leash to her collar and began to walk down the hall. "Wait!" she barked out, and the human gently, but insistently, tugged her along. Ryu was about to lose another packmember.
He was sick of this crap. There wasn't any way he'd help Adsila at this point - they were already through a door and out of sight. He didn't know where her human lived, so... Adsila was gone. Tarra was gone. He was not, under any circumstances, going to lose Babael too. She was the last sort-of friend he had left, the last remainder of a shredded pack.
He leapt forward at the human. The cage door was closed, but it wasn't locked yet, and Ryu's weight forced it open. The human fell back with a cry, the stick flying from his hand. Ryu jumped out of the cage, his eyes glowing with murderous rage as he glared down at the human. He wanted to kill him, but he didn't have time - already the other humans were freaking out at the sight of a crazed dog. If he waited, they'd trap him again. So he twisted around, trying to find where Babael was. He had heard her voice; he knew she was close. That stupid guard dog was growling at him, and Ryu planned to go around him, but then he caught sight of the dog in the cage right next to him - it was Babael.
"Babael!" he shouted, running to the cage. He expected the guard dog to jump at him, but he was just staring at Ryu as the Siberian Husky went to his friend's aid. Sven wasn't sure how to react - Snowball was always wanting something like this to happen, and now it was. She wouldn't want him to stop this Siberian Husky.
==
Togepi | Male | (Almost) 3 Years |Shiba Inu
Mentions: HHhhhhh

Changing, didn't realize Dreamer dropped out.
==
Sven | Male | 4 Years |Panda Shepherd | Guard Dog
Mentions: Babael,
slightly Ronan and Silaluk

Sven watched the Newfoundland for a moment. "Name's Sven," he said finally. After all, they would be seeing each other a lot, now that she was in a cage. As long as she didn't cause any trouble, he wouldn't snap at her. And she had proven to him that she wasn't a coward, so he wouldn't try to frighten her like he did with some of the mutts. He stood up and took a few steps to the side, looking into the next cage over. A snotty red Siberian Husky bared his teeth at him, and Sven narrowed his eyes. His gaze flicked to the female in the cage with him, and he snorted. He bet the male was such fun company. He turned and walked back to the Newfoundland's cage. "They're just to the right of you. And if I were you, I'd put that stupid Siberian Husky in his place or he'll be taken away like that other dumb dog just did. And-" he hesitated as he watched the humans a little ways down the hall yank the Wolfdog hybrid out of his cage. "like that idiot is just about to. At least he's asleep, I suppose - he won't know what's going to happen to him." The humans passed by with the dog between them, and they went through the dreaded door. Sven turned back to the Newfoundland. Just then, the Siberian Husky went flying out of his cage.

(Aight I guess it's my turn then :P I'll wait for the others before posting with Jazz & Ty)

Snowball
Female - 4 1/2 - Rottie - Guard
Mentions: Sven, Silaluk, Bear, Ryu, others

Her eyes widened as the humans took away the wolfdog, her face falling slightly as his limp form was dragged to the room. Behind him was towed the wolfish canine from before, she'd never learned his name but it killed her to watch them go. I promised to get you out! Im so so sorry. As a long haired dalmatian was led away by a few humans as she looked for her friends a red husky jumped up out of his cage. She didn't make a move to stop him, even with the humans barking out orders at her, she felt.. numb.. So incredibly numb inside. She watched with little interest until she realized what he was doing. She lumbered forwards and shoved him out of the way with a growl. "Move. Towards. The. Door." She snorted before her tail expertly snapped open the newfoundland's cage. "There. Go." She walked to Sven's side, "Will you come with us Sven? Your like a brother to me. I can't loose you as well." Her voice was strangely quiet, quieter then it had ever been in when they were around each other. -so very short-

Babael || 4 years || Newfoundland Great Dane mix || mentions: Sven, Ryu, Snowball
As Babael was nodding at what Sven was saying she watched with sad eyes as the took Silaluk away. She was about to reply that Ryu almost never really listened to what she had to say when she heard the door to one of the cages clang open. When the familiar voice of her packmate could be heard she jumped up and pressed to the door of the cage to get the best view she could of the other. "Ryu." She was happy to see the other but quite worried about what might happen to him. When the door to her own cage flew open she gave a gracious nod to the female before moving to the door before stopping and looking at the other. "Yeah Sven, why not come." She then pressed her side to Ryu's and rushed towards the door.

Ashira // 3.5 // Female // Rhodesian Ridgeback // Wild Fangs Alpha Female // Bi
Mentions: Vice (Who is an NPC for this post I suppose? I'm just killing her...), Wild Fangs pack in general, Dax, North, Vegas.
Actions: "What is life"

Ashira let out a drawn-out growl at Vice. "You, my dear, are trespassing just as much as they were. I am the Alpha of this pack, and I will uphold my land's law... Trespassers are killed, no matter their reason." She lunged at the dog cowering before her, and the last thing the spotted shepherd dog saw was her sharp, glistening fangs. A flock of birds were sent out of the trees, startled by her ferocity. She left the bloodied corpse at the edge of the territory as a warning to any others who might trespass, then turned to head back to camp, her pelt still stained with the blood of the three dogs that had died under her jaws that night. Soon enough, she padded into camp, her head and tail held high as a symbol of her dominance. The stench of death still hung about her, and she let out a short growl to get the attention of her pack. "Wild Fangs, I have an announcement to make, all of you will gather around the center of camp, there is much to discuss tonight. I want even pups there..." She lowered her head somberly, then looked around. "Dax, North, Vegas, you all need to accompany me to my den while the pack gathers. this news affects the three of you even more than the rest of the pack." She glanced around, noting a distinct lack of Freja and Seren, though they'd mentioned going back to the humans... Ashira was disgusted by their weakness, but with winter approaching, she couldn't blame them either.

Sam // Male // I think he was 4? // Leonberger // Pound
Mentions: Pound in general
Actions: Sam is being adopted, really you don' have to read it if you don't wanna, but I think it's a cute story.)

Sam had been forlornly staring at his kennel wall while the other dogs had been arguing and snapping at eachother. It was interesting to listen to at first, but it got tiresome after a while. He'd been replaying that morning over and over in his mind for the entire time he'd been there. After he'd proven himself to be non-aggressive, he'd been moved closer to the front of the pound, where there was a higher chance of adoption. Un-noticed to him at first, a little girl in a wheelchair had been watching him for a while as he stared at the wall. He only registered her presence when he heard a slight tapping noise on one of the posts of his cage. He moved his head over to look at her, and set it back on his paw to watch her as well. She made some sort of gesture to another human, and pointed at him. Sam caught the words "Sad too!" come out of her mouth, but didn't understand anything else, since she was speaking fairly quietly. He stood up and lumbered over to her, sniffing her through the chain-link. The little girl giggled, making Sam's tail wag a bit, the other humans with her seemed astounded at the noise, and the little girl once again pointed at him. Then the three humans left, leaving Sam once again to whine and stare out sadly.

One of the kennel people came up to his cage a few minutes later and slipped a leash over his neck. He obediently fell into step beside her, and was taken into a little room where the three humans from earlier were! His tail wagged at the sight of the little girl, and he let out a soft "woof" as a greeting. He padded right over to her, letting her scratch behind his ears contentedly. The older humans made him do a few things, like "sitting" "laying down" and other simple things, he was used to them from his old owner, so it wasn't hard. The little girl once again giggled, and Sam pulled up one of his big paws to set it on her lap. This little girl seemed to need him just as much as he had needed her. She kept repeating something over and over, "Teddy, Teddy, Teddy..." Was that what she wanted to call him? He didn't mind it, it was a nice new name from a nice little girl. Soon enough, she put a collar on him, clipped him to a much nicer leash than the one he'd been brought from the kennel from, and they were out the door. He padded next to the little girl, even if her father had ahold of the leash, which Teddy was fairly certain the male human eventually just let go of, so that he could walk beside his new person. Perhaps he wouldn't mind this new life, since he'd obviously been given the important job of caring for the little girl, he once again had work to do, a purpose, and he'd never have to deal with the horrible Wild Fangs again...

(I wanna write more about Sam/Teddy and his girl now... ;-;)

Natasha | Female | 3 yrs. 8 m.| Belgian Malinois | Pet/Guard
Mentions: Layat, Drake :c

One moment, Natasha was listening to the quiet sound of her companion's breathing, and the next, she was leaping to her paws at his stuttering breaths. "Layat? Are you alright?" He stared at her with wide, panicked eyes, like he couldn't bring himself to respond. Natasha hardly noticed that Drake had gotten to his paws as well, and was slowly backing away, ears down. The black and white male seemed to choke on a breath, and the sound that left his muzzle had Natasha whining in a similar pain. When Layat's head suddenly dropped to the snow, Natasha froze, and then crept forward a few inches. There was no warm cloud of breath leaving his muzzle any more. The Belgian, suddenly frightened and confused, turned to look for her larger companion, but found him no where. "D-Drake?" she called out, ears suddenly folding back as her tail drooped. "Drake?!" Whining, she circled Layat's body, starting to tremble. It wasn't from the cold. She leaned down to lick the dead dog's cheek, torn between looking for her alive friend and moving Layat's body out of the streets. Confused and alone, she finally let out a small, broken howl.

Denahi | Male | 4 yrs. 2 m.| Alaskan Husky | Sled-dog/Pet
Mentions: Wild Fangs

Only a few minutes before, he and Sitka had parted ways. his larger friend was heading home, knowing they'd be going for a run in the morning with their team. Denahi, however, had felt too restless to return just yet. So here he was, walking side-by-side with the forest. That was exactly when he heard the first low screech. It sounded like a pup, and his heroic side jumped to action; before he could think of how forbidden the forest had become, he was crashing through the snow and trees towards the sound. When he finally stopped, he was panting, and watching as a wolverine glared at him and dragged a small fox kit away. Blinking, he took a few steps back and let the animal continue on; he had no reason to pick a fight with the brute over a fox kit. He had thought it was a dog. Suddenly aware of where he was, his legs stiffened. "Shit," he cursed under his breath. In his haste, he'd crossed into the Wild Fangs territory. Glancing around slowly, he wandered whether he could sneak back out unnoticed... or if he'd already been spotted.

NORTH | MALE | 4 YEARS | BEAUCERON
Location: Forest, Approaching Camp
Mentions: Alaska, Ashira, Dax, Vegas

He watched the husky retrieve the quail that lay lifeless on the ground before them, her movements light and graceful in comparison to his large, lumbering form. He had the sudden urge to remain in the forest with her, pushing any sense of duty aside and spend the rest of the day enjoying her company. He knew that wasn't something that could be done right now, because although he wasn't aware of the perils that had occurred while they were absent, he sensed they were needed back in camp. Waiting for her to come up to his side, he silently leaned down slightly to give her a light lick on the cheek, before wordlessly stalking back in the direction of camp. It would be up to her to interpret the affectionate exchange.

The speed of his gait quickened as quite quickly he detected the faint scent of blood and adrenaline pheromones, the fur immediately bristling on the bridge of his thick-muscled shoulders and a low growl rumbling through his chest. He instinctively began to take on defensive body language; were there intruders? Was anybody harmed? He'd tear the throat out of any soul who dared to make one wrongful step towards his most loyal of pack mates. He was quick to spot the rather pitiful, bleeding form of Radjika, making a mess of their camp. With the remainder of his associates acting rather nonchalant towards the shepherd, North merely curled his lip in disgust. Fucking mongrel dirtying up their land. Stealing a silent glance at Alaska, he hoped she would take the initiative to remove him from the lands and do something with him. Heal him, he supposed, and then hopefully someone would toss him out. His eyes naturally began to pick out the familiar form of his superiors- Silaluk, Ashira, Dax. Something didn't feel right, and that feeling was confirmed when he spotted Ashira stalking through with a solemn look plastered across her features. He wanted to bound up to her and ask her what was going on, where the alpha was, but he did no such thing. Instead, he respectfully hung back, not making any sort of move until the ridgeback acknowledged him.

"Yes, M'Lady." He growled softly as she passed, turning his head to look down at Alaska. "I'm needed to report to the alpha's quarters. Make sure you get some food into you," His muzzle nodded in the direction of the bird he caught for her. "Even if you're busy tending to that brute over there. I'll come find you when I'm done." Running his tail along her side, he pivoted around and stalked after his alpha, glancing over at her face with a glint of concern in his golden brown gaze. Where is Silaluk?

RYKER | MALE | 4 YEARS | GERMAN SHEPHERD
Location: In Town, Alleyways
Mentions: Ruger, Lianna, Piper, Ikkuma

Streaks of scarlet stained his own coat, a few feeble bite marks visible in his coat from his attackers but not nearly as terrifying in appearance as the wounds he inflicted on the other dogs. His rage-induced adrenaline was dying down, replaced with a heavy sense of exhaustion and grief. He was so focused on the fallen corpse of his beloved companion he hadn't noticed Ruger had collapsed, Lianna lingering overtop of him in an attempt to wake him up.

The silence that drew around them finally caused him to lift his head and look away from the black and white form of Piper, his amber eyes widening with panic at Ruger's fallen form. He cannot die. The desire to not abandon Piper made his paws as heavy as lead, seemingly dragging him down, but he forced himself to stand on shaky limbs. The reality of the situation was that Piper was dead. No efforts he made would be successful, she was not coming back. Ruger, on the other hand.. his black and beige form heaved with light breaths, revealing he was still alive. Sore and tired, he forced himself to leave Piper's form and make his way over to his other shepherd companions. He collapses by their sides, his heavy form suddenly feeling very frail and useless. He presses his muzzle into the side of Ruger's shoulder, desperately trying to get a response. "Don't you die on me too, you bastard." Desperation taints his tone, glancing at Lianna with fear in his eyes. First Ikkuma, then Piper.. He could not lose Ruger.

Dax - Mentions: North, Ashira, Vegas, Freja

Dax pried his attention off of Freja from beyond Vegas when North appeared. "Ah, North!--" The large beauceron was cut short when Ashira called himself, Vegas, and North over. "Alpha." Dax spoke, his words sharp and cold as he trotted after her, his head high and back straight as he clenched his jaws together. "I am afraid I may be the bearer of some horrid news.." Dax was about to speak when he heard the footsteps of North and Vegas behind him, making his hesitate to speak. Ashira would speak first. Maybe she had the same news, but confirmed? Dax exhaled heavily and lowered his head down to Ashira's Level.

Vegas - Mentions: North, Ashira, Silaluk, Freja, Dax

Vegas let out a groan as Dax spoke about them having to wait. How could they wait!? In a time like this, Dx was sure acting-- Vegas' thoughts were short as Ashira called himself and the two other brutes to follow her. Did she know? Stars, did she actually know for sure what was going on? Vegas followed Dax and Ashira hesitantly beside North as he stepped on heavy paws. The frosted grass chilled his paws as it melted under his warm pawpads. But if she knew, why would it affect Vegas as well? Vegas pondered on that before he realized he and North were both lead positions in hunting and for him, fighting. Vegas stifled his words of 'oh' as he stopped, waiting for them to speak.

King - Mentions: Kade, Ashira

King's ears pinned against his skull as he raised his head and raised an eyebrow, coughing out a cackle as he spoke about going to somebody else to learn to fight. "I'm afraid you are already looking at the best, my dear." Though King knew he would most likely loose a fight against North, King felt as if he were superior in all ways. Though he did know his limits for being such a cocky thick-skulled prick. King rolled his cognac eyes as the shepherd began to step away, making his spit out his words as if we were throwing ice shards at somebody. "Alright, alright! I'll teach ya."

Kade || Aus. Border Collie || 4 (I think?) || Wild Fang Hunter || Mentions: King (directly), Vegas and Ashira (indirectly)

Kade grinned; her plan had worked. "Good," she said, returning to her previous position by King's side. "When should we start? I've got the rest of today if you do, but Vegas and Ashira have something for the newer hunters to do early tomorrow." In her excitement, she did the thing with her paws - it was common to see breeds of Shiba Inu do it, like they were dancing or stepping along to a beat. Prancing was a good word, though the collie remained stationary.

Learning was always fun for her, and even if she didn't quite admit it to herself, she was looking forward to spending more time with King, for all of his abrasive cockiness and general insufferable nature.

Ashira // 3.5 // Female // Rhodesian Ridgeback // Wild Fangs Alpha Female // Bi
Mentions: Dax, North, Vegas, Silaluk ;-;
Actions: "What is life"

"I'm aware Dax. Just follow for now." Ashira had a hint of sadness in her voice that couldn't be interpreted as anything good at all. She barely even noticed to blood staining her pelt any more, though it probably looked terrible to her pack. She padded into what was now her den and sat down to face her two most trusted advisors, and soon-to-be fellow Alpha. Once they'd all sat down, the started speaking. "You three know there's a reason I've called you in here. You must have noticed that the warriors are back, but Silaluk is...not." She paused for a moment, as if gathering her thoughts. "He was taken by humans, and I wasn't at all worried until a few short hours ago. Call it instinct, but... I know he's dead. It was like half of myself suddenly left. This leaves me no choice, I must take up the position of the head of this pack. I do not intend to do it alone, however, and the three of you are those I trust the most. Dax, as the beta, you will be the one to be the next Alpha male. I know it is short notice, but you must be with me tonight when I lead the howl. This pack cannot show weakness after this loss..." Ashira appeared as no dog in the pack had ever seen her before; exhausted, with her shoulders slumped in sadness... She could only be this way around those three, who she'd come to see with just the same affection as she'd seen Silaluk. "North, Vegas. You two are the two I trust the most to be the Beta, either of you. You can figure it out yourselves, whether it be by a fight, or by a conversation I do not care, but one of you will be the beta by sunset tomorrow, and choose a replacement for your current position. The hunters have brought us a feast! Tonight we shall celebrate in Silaluk's honor, and mourn together. Dax, we will announce your position tonight. Ready yourself, prepare, you'll need to speak to the pack. Move anything you wish to have from your den in here, including a pelt if you choose. She seemed to steel herself for going back outside. "I need to go wash off this blood." She wandered off, growling about stupid trespassers, though she still seemed to be in a daze of sorts.

(God, so many text walls lately... Sorrynotsorry she's giving a speech.)

Cracks knuckles

Alaska || Siberian Husky || Adult || Mentions: North & Radjka || Actions: all the Affection in the world, healing and eating

The Siberian husky was gazing up at North as he stood there seemingly fighting inside of his own mind about something that Alaska couldn't comprehend. Though, as a surprise, her heart quickened as he licked her cheek gently. The she-dog's ear tips grew hot, inflammation with embarrassment and affection. Her golden brown eyes watched as the quite muscular brute froze up before leaping forward at an abnormal pace. Alaska had to trot to keep up with the bigger dog. Her swift movements kept her just a foot behind- that was before the grotesque scent of mangey blood hit her nostrils. Her heart was thumping even quicker but only this time, it being out of fear.

Images flashed in her mind out of horror at what could be wrong. The sight of dogs lunging at eachothers throats had her stutter to a sudden stop, her eyes were zoned out before she focused back in on reality and noticed the dark shepherd who seemed to be in a bit of a bloody mess. Alaska could sense North's disliking towards the feral dog but her instincts kicked in. Nodding towards North to go ahead without her, she quickly placed the dead quail that was in her jaws, in her den. With care at the most, as she didn't want to tarnish North's gift to her. Backing up, she turned around and raced over to Radjka. Honestly, she really never had to drag someone back to her den.

Placing her jaws softly on a part of his pelt that wasn't basically bitten off, she tugged her head backwards, using her paws as leverage to back herself up. Strength wasn't one of Alaska's perks, so she had a bit of trouble and she had no time to waste. Grunting, the husky finally made it to her den where she placed the unconscious male in a nest. Meanwhile, she gathered up leaves and started to chew some of her herbs to a smooth poultice. Placing the medicine on some leaves, Alaska placed them on each and every wound with a bit of pressure to stop the bleeding. Her needs would have to be tended to later on, for now she had to keep an eye out for the shepherd incase he showed any signs of worsening.

Ruger || Adult || German Shepherd || Mentions: Piper, Lianna, Ryker

The brute couldn't see anything, he was seemingly stuck in his own worst nightmare. There was nothing but pitch blackness, which frightened him. Ruger was running around trying to find some light, his heart raced as he started to panic. The only noise he heard was the voices outside of his head, corresponding to Lianna and Ryker. Then suddenly, a spotlight hit something black and white, Ruger's eyes narrowed until they adjusted to the sudden source. Studying the object that was a mere ten yards away, he couldn't help but let out a howl of grief when he realized it was Piper's decaying body.

On the outside, in the real world, he let out a whimper. It was, infact his fault that she was dead. If Ruger hadn't suggested he was going to hunt alone, they wouldn't have followed him and they wouldn't have encountered the mutts who only craved the death of others. Sobs racked through his body, they seemingly echoed in his mind as he saw himself running for Piper's body. But each step he took, she grew farther and farther away. Until, finally his eyes cracked open the slightest. He noticed Lianna was laying her head on him and Ryker was nudging him quite harshly, muttering not to go as Piper did.

Ruger opened his muzzle, "I'm not going anywhere..." His voice croaked, interrupting the soft silence between the three shepherds.

Radjka | Male | 3 Years |German Shepherd
Mentions: Alaska

(He's still passed out. xD)
==
Lianna | Female | 2 Years |German Shepherd
Mentions: Ruger, Ryker

Lianna shoved her head against Ruger's coat, sighing in relief to see him awake. She had hated the look on Ryker's face - it had been painful, just like she knew it would be. But now Ruger was awake, and everything was going to be fine. She sent Ryker a gentle look, hoping the sight of Ruger awake would help him relax. The poor Shepherd needed a moment of peace - they all did. Then she leaned over and licked Ruger's nose. "Glad to see you awake," Lianna said softly. She hadn't liked the way he had whimpered and twitched - only he had known what he had dreamed, and she wasn't going to pry.

Ryu | Male | 2 Years |Siberian Husky
Mentions: Snowball, Babael, Sven

Ryu was shocked when the female guard dog forced the male guard dog aside and snapped at Ryu, quickly smacking Babael's cage open. When Babael jumped out and said his name, he couldn't help but give her a small, rakish smile in response. Her talking to the 'Sven' dog didn't make him feel good, but he didn't interrupt. She brushed against him, and he gave her that cocky grin again, even though her back was turned and she couldn't see it.
The humans were really riled up now. Half of them were holding those sticks, some with a loop at the end and others ending in a point. He didn't know what the second sticks did, and he didn't want to know. Thankfully, lots of them were still completely shell-shocked, stunned at everything that was happening. He quickly turned back to the guard dogs, narrowing his eyes. He supposed the gentlemanly thing to do was wait for them and help them get out, just as they had done to him. But it was only the female that had helped, and Ryu was just plain-old not a gentleman. So he twisted around and chased after Babael.
One of the humans pointed their stick weapon at Babael, and Ryu saw red. With a snarl and a leap, the man's forearm was in his jaws, and he bit down with a vicious snap. There was a harsh crunch and the man shrieked out in agony. He dropped the stick, and Ryu let go, twisting around the human and continuing after Babael. If another human tried to catch her, they wouldn't get by as easily as a bite to the arm.

Togepi | Male | (Almost) 3 Years |Shiba Inu
Mentions: *flails*

Togepi trotted down the street, his ears lowered against his head. He hadn't entirely wanted to, but he had told Rain and Roi that he couldn't stay with them any longer. He had appreciated their company, but now he needed to go his own way. Find a group that was big enough to create a true pack, to help defend everyone from the crueler dogs of the world. He didn't know if he would find such a group, but that wouldn't stop him from looking. He had promised that he wouldn't pause in his quest, and he stuck to his promises.

Sven | Male | 4 Years |Panda Shepherd | Guard Dog
Mentions: Snowball, Babael, Ryu

Sven blinked at Babael, then she raced away. The Siberian Husky eyed them for a second, then he too followed after her. He slowly turned to Snowball. She had called him her brother. She just had to use that damn card on him. He hadn't ever heard her talk to him so softly. How could he refuse, really? He was brash and sadistic, but he truly cared for her. Like she had called him a brother, he thought of her as a sister. He couldn't just let her leave without him - even though he was well aware that she could defend herself.
"I'll go with you," Sven sighed, shaking his head slightly. "But you'd better have a good plan as to what we should do when we get out of here." He nipped at her ear, forcing a playful smirk on his face. "And besides, Snowie, there's no way you can get rid of me that easily. Sorry, but you're stuck with me."
He turned to look at the humans. They did not look pleased - and they were especially angry with the Siberian Husky. Sven looked at one of the human's bloody arm, and he snorted. That dog played dirty. "You ready to ditch this place, Snowie?" he asked, lowering his body into a crouch. He felt like he was in a race, and he whipped his tail at Snowball.

(I swear I replied to that Sae)

-no headers-

Snowball gave a grunt as the pair took off, "Your going the wrong way!!" She felt Sven's teeth nip her ear and nudged him playfully before giving him a wide rottweiler smile and nodding, "Of course! Can't cage me!!" She woofed before flicking him with her tail, lowering into a crouch and darting off, just a blur as she pounced onto, and off of, a human trying to catch the husky. "Guys!! Take a right!" She barked loudly, they were heading for a room that they'd never leave from, "C'mon Sven!" As she ran her tail opened up gates of dogs of all shapes and sizes, most of them rushing the humans before following the group. Snow was the first to explode of out of the doors, the wooden swinging doors splintering under the force of her hit. The vitiligo rottweiler paused for a moment, shaking the fuzz from her mind before feeling air rush past her, they were in a yard. A fenced in yard, she gave a feral snarl, eyes locking on the gates, moments later a few dogs burst out beside her, 2 of them to be exact, 2 large pits. "Rush it." She mumbled before all three ran at the gate, the chain link groaning and giving way under the brunt of them hitting it head on. One crumpled to the ground while the other staggered off, Snow shaking herself with a whine. "S-Sven??" She said dazed, fuzz clouding her vision and judgement at the moment. Though they were free, dogs bursting from the prison that held so many for so long.

Babael || 4 years || Newfoundland Great Dane mix || mentions: Sven, Ryu, Snowball
Babael followed the direction of the other dog, letting her take the lead. She watched as the three rushed the gate and it swung open. She ran out, stopping next to Snowball and stopped to check on the other. She seemed fine other than being a bit dizzy so Babael let Sven take over looking over the other. She quickly looked around, realizing she recognized the area. She had to run through these parts when she fled her old pack. "Follow me." She moved towards the trees, hoping she remembered how to get back to their den, realizing now it was just her and Ryu's den. It made her heart hurt thinking about their lost companions.

NORTH | MALE | 4 YEARS | BEAUCERON
Mentions: Ashira, Dax, Vegas

The golden orbs of North's gaze remained trained on his alpha's form as she exited the den, splatters of crimson staining her coat and filling the beauceron's nostrils with the thick, iron scent of it. The announcement of the alpha's.. death or disappearance, he wasn't sure what he could truly determine it as just yet, seemingly lulled him into a rather distorted state of mind. Silaluk.. dead? The idea of it seemed foolish for any dog to believe. He was the lord of the forest, the big bad wolf of the reserve, and yet so suddenly his reign had ended. The urge to follow Ashira and demand more of an explanation made his forepaw twitch, but he remained planted to the ground. Her words had been confident and her eyes had held an undebatable sorrow; he was gone, and he was gone for good.

The silence that grew between the three brutes that remained in the den reminded North of the task at hand; celebrating Dax's rise to the alpha of the Wild Fangs, and determining who would replace his former position. Though Vegas' presence brought immediate discomfort and a desire to assert himself as more dominant, he ignored the other canine for the time being and stepped forward to congratulate the other beauceron. He bowed his head respectfully to his friend, a supportive smirk playing at the edges of his scarred up muzzle. "Congratulations, my friend." He said in his deep, firm tone, "I can't think of another dog I'd be so honoured to serve. You deserve this, Dax."

RYKER | MALE | 4 YEARS | GERMAN SHEPHERD
Mentions: Ruger, Lianna, Piper

I'm not going anywhere..
Ryker's head bowed over his forepaws, dazed and exhausted as if thrown into an abyss of dreaming in which he was unable to shake himself of, but the familiar voice of his friend made his ears prick forward sharply and his head raise. Ruger's voice wheezed and broke off when he spoke, but he was alive and he would survive, and that's all that mattered. He extended his muzzle towards Ruger's shoulder, giving him another nudge that proved to be much more gentle this time. "Good. If you left me already I'd bring you back from the dead and kill you all over again." He growled softly, though the slightest playful gleam was visible in his amber eyes. Glazed over and pained, he was unable to disguise the look of grief the depths of his gaze held. The left side of his body felt tense and tingly, facing the direction in which Piper's deceased form still lay unmoving. He had to force himself to not look over at her or else he'd lose it again.

A light wind ruffled Ryker's coat and he glanced up, his eyes squinted against the light dapples of white that floated down from the sky. It was about to snow again, possibly even storm, and the temperature was bound to drop. They'd need to seek shelter right away. "We need to get out of here." He said softly, looking over at Lianna. "Will you help me carry him?" Ruger was bound to need assistance with moving. Piper.. should they leave her here? No.. he'd come back for her body on his own time once he was sure his friends were safe and out of his terrible weather. Then he'd find an appropriate place to bury her.
