Intro

Location: A Native American Indian Reserve in Northern Canada.

Life on the reserve can be rough on a dog. Canines run free throughout the reserve, often left unbothered by humans. Unless you have an owner to take care of you or a pack to watch your back it’s every dog for him or herself out here. Lone strays are liable to get roughed up or even worse, murdered. With so many dogs competing for land and food it’s best to stay with a group for your own protection.

If that wasn’t bad enough, the woodlands on the outskirts of the reserve are occupied by the hostile Wild Fangs, mainly led by a stern ridgeback by the name of Ashira. She rules with an iron paw, keeping her pack in line and on the top of the food chain.

RP plot originally created by NightSky01 (#52637). It was then taken over by Potatopaz, who has now passed it on to me! (Hopefully I'll be able to keep up the responsibility of running this and CoF!)

Vegas - Mentions: North, Ashira, Dax

Vegas shifted uncomfortably as his alpha exited the den, leaving the three brutes in silence. Was Silaluk really dead? North broke his thought with an oh-so-lovely speech about the raise of Dax as alpha. As he felt North's gaze shift upon him for a moment, he stifled a harsh laugh and spoke, ears pinned against his skull. "Aye, the position is yours. I'm happy with mine. The pack wouldn't be eating with the new hunters without me." Vegas rolled his eyes before looking back to Dax and grinning sickly, speaking again. "Yes. Congratulations my friend."

Dax - Mentions: North, Ashira, Vegas

Dax wanted to protest against his alpha and say that they could still look. His hopes were still high. But should they be? Dax stared after her and never unlocked his gaze for the odd moment when Vegas spoke and North congratulated him. Dax looked to North with an unreadable expression, nodding before he exhaled heavily and stood up. "Thank you, both of you." Dax again nodded to them and looked to North is if saying he agreed it's be better for the Beauceron to take the position.

Dax exhaled heavily and exited the den, trotting after Ashira. The larger make tapped her flank with his large and wet black nose, looking at her with a hard expression. Ashira was broken, Dax as well. But with his partner down, the pack needed a stronger leader as of now. Dax looked over the trees for a moment before looking back to Ashira and speaking. "We... We can still look for him, Ashira! We could send dogs out at times.. Groups! Like hunting parties! You cannot truly give up on him, right? Ashira?" Dax's eyes softened for a moment before they turned back to emotionless.

Ashira // 3.5 // Female // Rhodesian Ridgeback // Wild Fangs Alpha Female // Bi
Mentions: Dax
Actions: *Flops around like a fish*

Ashira had already gone for a short swim in the river to wash off the blood, and she was sitting on the shore, just watching the waves when Dax approached her. She flicked her ear to acknowledge him when he tapped her, but didn't react much farther than that. His words almost caught her off-guard, though she quickly regained her composure. "It wouldn't change the fact that he's gone Dax." She sighed heavily. "When you're around a dog for that long, when you get to know every little facet of their personality like I knew him, you form a connection, one like no other. It's like your souls move in sync after that, Silaluk was everything to me but a mate. He was the father I never had, the brother I always needed... a best friend like no other... We truly were tied together by everything but blood. When a bond that strong is formed, a dog knows when it is broken, and the only sever that can do it is death." Ashira's explanation was quiet, and though she stayed stoic, the emotions she truly felt were all painfully apparent in her eyes. "He's gone Dax, I felt it, I could physically feel the bond breaking. He rests with the great one, and hunts among the stars now. She looked up at the moon forlornly, as if wishing that he would come back, or that she could join him. She glanced back over at Dax. "Though I ask one thing of you Dax, don't try to walk in his pawsteps. He was a great dog, and a great Alpha, but you must make your own path, just as he did. I'm sure you'll be a wonderful Alpha as well. She nudged his shoulder gently, an almost playful aura surrounding her, as if she was hoping to dispel a bit of the sorrow that clung to the air around them.

Radjka | Male | 3 Years |German Shepherd
Mentions: Alaska

Radjka jerked awake, his body aching with pain. He bit back a whimper and slowly blinked open his eyes, lifting his head. His wounds burned, but they weren't as bad as before. What had happened? After the fight it was a dark blur. He looked around, wondering when he had gotten here. He caught sight of a female Siberian Husky, and his ears lowered cautiously. "Who're you?" he asked, his voice rough. "How did I get in here?" He couldn't remember if he had seen the female before. Was she a healer?
==
Lianna | Female | 2 Years |German Shepherd
Mentions: Ruger, Ryker

Lianna laughed softly, her heart pinging with pain. She stood when Ryker spoke to her, looking down at Ruger. "Of course I'll help you," she said to Ryker, leaning down and nudging Ruger's shoulder. She glanced over at Piper before looking away. She planned on helping Ryker with Ruger, but who knew what could happen to Piper out here, all alone? She looked at the sky and scowled. Just like she had thought; there was already birds circling like vultures above their heads, brought by the smell of blood and death. If even one of them landed anywhere near Piper, Lianna would be having a bird buffet. She stared back at Ruger, asking, "Do you think you can move?"
==
Ryu | Male | 2 Years |Siberian Husky
Mentions: Snowball, Babael, Sven

Ryu had never felt so powerful, so full of adrenaline, he swept through the gate. Sven swept over to Snowball, and Ryu looked away. He didn't care about Snowball. All he cared about was getting Babael out of here. "Follow me," Babael said, turning and running towards the trees. Ryu, for once without questions, followed after Babael. He knew where she was going - it was their den. Just theirs, at this point. The others were gone. Growling through his teeth, he was half tempted to run back into the pound and kill every human in sight. But the bite on the one's arm had to be enough revenge. For now. If he ever saw another human again...
==
Sven | Male | 4 Years |Panda Shepherd | Guard Dog
Mentions: Snowball, Babael, Ryu

"Snowie, are you alright?" Sven could see dogs racing out, could see the floods of humans running after them. A few stragglers were brought down with darts and the noose-like poles, and there wasn't much of a distance between the humans and their little group. Hopefully they would be moving fast, or else the now-organized humans would be snatching them again. And Sven didn't want that to happen.
He went to the tottering Snowball, pressing his nose to her shoulder. "You can lean on me," he said. It didn't look like she could walk straight on her own. The dazed look on her face concerned him. The gate could have even given her a concussion for all he knew. "Just stay next to me, alright? It'll be fine. We're out now, and those humans can't tell us what to do." He watched Babael start off, with Ryu right behind her. He had seen from her checking on Snowball that Babael wasn't stone-hearted, but that Ryu... Sven didn't like him. He seemed heartless for the most part. If Ryu planned on telling them what to do, Sven wouldn't just sit around and take it.
"Come on, Snowie. Let's go with them. It sounds like they have a place to stay. In the meantime, we can figure out what our plan is." He licked her ear, then slowly began to follow Babael and Ryu, checking back every few seconds to check on both Snowball and the approaching humans. Despite being completely blindsided to the rebellion, the humans had made a huge comeback - they had captured probably around a dozen dogs, at least. It wouldn't be long before they came after Snowball and Sven.

Aksel / Male / 4 Years / Norwegian Elkhound
Mentions: N/A

Aksel was on the prowl. It had been over a day since he last hunted, and it was coming time to fill his stomach again. He was following the trail of a large hare. It was a fresh scent, and he knew he was getting close to his prey.

Striding carefully, avoiding anything on the ground that would make too much noise, the creature was soon in view. He crept slowly, bracing himself for the moment the hare would startle and attempt to flee. Soon enough, the animal’s ears perked and he began to leap away. Aksel sprung into action, weaving along behind his next meal. While he wasn’t the strongest, Aksel’s breed was made for speed and agility. It didn’t take much effort to be on the hare, and sink his teeth into a fragile spine.

Aksel shook the animal, pinned the hare down with his paws, grabbed the back of his neck, and snapped it. As he relished in his catch, the scents left behind by many dogs assaulted his nostrils.

Shit. He knew, suddenly, he had been this close to imposing on the Wild Fang’s territory. Just barely, but here he was. How had he not noticed earlier? In the intensity of his hunt, nothing else had been important. While he had found the hare outside of their territory, he had managed to chase it right towards them. He could have been in some serious trouble.

He considered the fact that he could be already. He was dangerously close to their boundaries, after all. Aksel grimaced and picked up his hare, beginning his retreat, and hoping no one would notice him and attempt to steal his meal.

Snowball
Female - 4? - Rottweiler
Sven, NPC humans/dogs, Babel, Ryu

She looked up at the large black dog before her, but the female was already gone with a snobbish husky following. A snort blew through her lips until something nudged her and came dangerously close to getting bitten, Sven's scent blew over her and she relaxed into his touch, following after him. Every step clearing the fog away from her mind and her pawsteps becoming more and more even, as well as the noise from the human group behind them. Her lips curled up slightly, speeding up as much as she could to walk beside Sven until the fog was completely gone and she could walk properly, thick tail hitting Sven every so often.

Babael || 4 years || Newfoundland Great Dane mix || mentions: Sven, Ryu, Snowball
The path appeared in her mind like she had just traveled it yesterday and she picked up the pace to put more distance between them and the humans. She weaved through the trees and made it hard for the group to be followed through their journey, turning to make sure their new companions were keeping up. After a while she slowed, the sounds of the humans that had been tracking them were gone, but now was not the time to rest. It took a bit longer for the metal den to come into sight, when it did Babael lifted back her head and let out a howl of victory before she smiled at Ryu. "We're home." She said. As the approached the den she showed the newcomers how to enter the den without being skewered. Once inside the large dog flopped down on the pelt that lay inside.

Ryu | Male | 2 Years |Siberian Husky
Mentions: Snowball, Babael, Aksel, Sven

The Siberian Husky raced after Babael, his ears roving to hear Snowball and Sven right behind him. He didn't care about them, though. He just wanted to make sure Babael was okay - not that he would admit it out loud. His eyes were glancing every which way, keeping a watch out for any sign of a human ambush. He half wanted one - that way, he could have a reason to attack more humans.

When they arrived at the den, Ryu lifted his head as Babael howled. He found his own head lifting slightly at her action, as if it was instinctual, but he forced himself to stop. When she smiled at him, he gave her a quirky smirk in response. When she showed Snowball and Sven how to enter the den and went inside herself, Ryu started forward to follow her.

The wind drifted past his nose, and Ryu froze, one leg lifted. He sniffed the air, narrowing his eyes. There was the smell of another dog. A Wild Fang? He looked at the den, then looked away. He couldn't rest until he knew everything was fine, and if there was another dog around, then that could mean danger. Ryu began to prowl towards the faint scent, leaving the den behind and arriving close to the Wild Fang borer. More than a little suspicious, Ryu looked around, and caught sight of a dog loping away from the pack's territory. It was carrying some sort of prey in its mouth. Ryu's tail lifted and he barked out, "You! Who the hell are you?"
==
Togepi | Male | (Almost) 3 Years |Shiba Inu
Mentions: *FLAILS INTENSELY

Togepi trundled along, looking for something to eat. He hadn't seen much life for a while, and he found it increasingly unnerving. Where was everything? No dogs, no rats, not even birds. He had heard a cricket chirp, but that hardly counted as a meal. Togepi paused, sitting down to get some rest. He yawned widely, shaking his head sleepily. I should really be getting some sleep, Togepi thought, but he wasn't sure. He would be even more hungry in the morning. And besides, with everything being as quiet as it was, it felt like something was wrong. The fur on the back of Togepi's scruff kept spiking, as if it was electrified. It wasn't a pleasant feeling.

A flash of a small shape caught Togepi's eye, and he quickly stood. It was a mouse, on the other side of the street. It was nibbling on something between its paws, and as far as Togepi could see, there weren't any cracks in the wall for the mouse to flee into. But there was a sloped walkway, and it was blocked by tons of boxes. The mouse would likely go there. Togepi wasn't the best hunter, but that didn't mean he didn't catch himself food. He just wasn't great at it. Togepi began to prowl across the street, and when he was close enough he broke into a run. The mouse went the exact way Togepi had planned, and it went right towards the boxes. Togepi, not being a big dog, couldn't run quite fast enough to grab it. Upset and annoyed, Togepi continued after it, like he shouldn't have. He was too determined to, at first, pay attention of the precarious tilting of the top boxes. He realized moments later, and attempted to stop himself, but his thrust was too powerful and plowed right into the first row of boxes.

At the incline they were, the top boxes immediately began to topple over. Togepi could tell by the way they slowly moved that there was something heavy inside of them. There a strange sound, a sort of rumbling, and it wasn't coming from the boxes, but he was too frightened of getting crushed to notice it. He twisted around and sprinted away from the boxes, running back into the street. There was the crashing of the boxes behind him as he suddenly became bathed in light. There was a loud shrieking, the sound shattering Togepi's eardrums and making him wince. Disoriented and confused, Togepi looked up in time to see the car's bumper before everything went black.
==
Sven | Male | 4 Years |Panda Shepherd | Guard Dog
Mentions: Snowball, Babael, Ryu

Sven kept at Snowball's side, glaring at Ryu whenever the Siberian Husky paused to glance over his shoulder. He disliked that dog. Babael seemed fine, even kind, but that dog... Sven didn't trust him. We would rather have Snowball far away from him. He affectionately nudged Snowball's shoulder as her tail hit his side again. They arrived at some kind of weird mess of a den, and Babael showed them how to get inside. Sven carefully walked after her, his ears pinned against his head.

When he was inside, he lie opposite Babael, lying on the regular ground. He looked at the entrance, looking for Snowball. And where was that other dog? Ryu hadn't come inside. Twitching with suspicion, Sven rose into a sitting position, narrowing his eyes. If Snowball didn't walk through the entrance, then that would mean she'd still be out there with the Husky. And if that was the case, then Sven would be ripping off that mutt's ears.

Alaska || Female || Adult || Siberian Husky || Mentions: Radjka

As the Husky was laying down inside the healing den, she couldn't help but jerk to her paws when the unconscious German Shepherd startled awake. There was an eerie silence for a couple of seconds before Radjka started to question her existence. "Calm down, take a deep breath. I don't want you to go into a cardiac arrest." She spoke slowly.

"My name is Alaska and I'm the lead Medic in The Wild Fangs. I saw you bleeding out on the ground and decided to take it upon myself to not let you die." Her golden brown gaze scanned his wounds as she swallowed. "So here you are, all patched up in a nest." The female settled down, nostrils flaring as the scent of blood and herbs made her nose tingle. "May I ask what happened? Do you remember anything?"

Ruger || Male || Adult || German Shepherd || Mentions: Ryker & Lianna

Ruger grunted in response to Rykers death threat. "Okay, first of all, you'd have to catch me if you can." The broad, black and brown dog teased before flinching in surprise to Lianna's nose being pressed against his shoulder. "Ah, I think I can move, I mean- unless I'm missing something." Ruger searched his body, playfully.

"Huh, maybe I forgot my dignity." He shrugged, trying to lighten up the mood and forget what had just happen not too long ago. Ruger refused to look in the direction that everything had happened, afraid he wouldn't be able to take it.

Slade || Male || Young Adult || Wolfdog || Mentions: The Wild Fangs

A dark silhouette slipped through the forest. Leaves and twigs snapping every once in a while and a squirrel or bird fleeing here and there. The slender Wolfdog snarled under his breath as the aroma of multiple dogs entered his system. A pack... Was all he thought. The muscular dog trudged through the fallen brush as he made his way after the wafting scent. It's enticing call to him made the unknown male walk a bit faster.

He wasn't going to leave this pack alone without a bit of blood on his paws. A smirk lit up the multi-greyscaled wolfdog's face. His icy blue eyes narrowed.

Flapjack || Male || Adult || Long Haired Weiner Dog || Mentions: Open for interaction

Flapjack was scrambling over a rock, which was about as big as the mid-point length in an average dogs leg. Huffing, the Weiner dog was determined to find refuge in the woods. A dog as small as him wasn't safe in these parts of the forest. The slight breeze made his fur start to prickle and raise on end. "God I hope I find some shelter soon."

Snowball paused outside the den as a strange scent rolled over her nostrils the husky seemed to go after it bristling. Her ears flattened backwards, though dazed, followed him just in case. She came upon the Ryu character with a snort, he seemed to be standing against a dog with prey in its mouth. Her lips lifted slightly, walking towards them, "leave it alone Ryu come back. Check on Babael and leave this mutt be." Without a word she turned on her paws and walked back towards the metal death trap of a den and worked her way through it slowly. Feeling a spike tap her shoulder before she went more slowly, eyes looking for Sven lazily.

Dax - Male - 4 years - Beauceron - New Alpha / Mentions: Ashira, King, Radjika, Alaska, Silaluk, Vegas, North, Black Jack, Rest of pack

Dax exhaled heavily, nodding in her direction as he spun around. "I shall tell the pack now," Dax spoke, his loud voice seeming softer until the last words of his sentence where he turned stone cold. Ashira was not fit to tell the pack, no. But she was fit enough emotionally to be there beside him. Dax's warning to his fellow alpha was muttered as he pushed through the stones and leaves on the ground, leading himself to the center of there camp. Dax glanced at Vegas, then to his beta North. He had respect for the dog, and now he would have to trust the Beauceron with his own life as well as Ashiras and the Packs. The beta position seemed a lot more important now that he was leading this pack alongside Ashira. North would pull through, though.
As the dog tore his gaze from North, he met his cognac eyes with the lead hunter who oh so easily gave up the vets position. A smart move. Vegas would be high tailing it halfway through the fight to get out of it. Dax gave the hunter a slight nodas he sighed and glanced to North, motioning with his head with a jerk that he should come join him and Ashira when she came. Soon she will. Dax paused for a second, glancing up at the midnight black sky, lined with clouds and the occasional star. Dax raised his tail higher than it was before, straightening his position and letting a loud and stone cold bark ring through the camp, motioning for all dogs to gather around. "Elders, Warriors, Hunters, and even omega and pups must be listening intently to what I am about to say to you all." Dax paused, raising his head higher as the dogs averted their attention from what they were doing to gather near the new Alpha. For now he had to wait for Ashira to stand beside them before he continued.

N O R T H | Male | Beauceron | Wild Fangs Beta
Mentions: Alaska, Ashira, Dax, Vegas

Golden eyes remained on Dax's solemn face, acknowledging Vegas' words with the slightest flick of an ear. How interesting of him to give up an opportunity so quickly, but North inwardly felt relieved. A spar, one that would inevitably be to the death, was not what they needed within their ranks right now. They needed unity, strength, confidence, which North slightly vowed to provide. With their new alpha male leaving the den to pursue Ashira, he too stepped into the campground to wait for their return. Something tugged his paws in the direction of Alaska's den, eager to make her aware of the news. How would this effect them, whatever they were? A busy medic paired with a beta expected to be punctual and useful- perhaps their time together would be minimal. Nonsense. Abandoning his thoughts, he rose to his paws once Dax came back into view. Solitary, though he wasn't surprised, Ashira needed time to grieve. At his beckoning, the massive brute gave a firm, encouraging nod in return and joined his fellow beauceron. Standing respectfully at his shoulder, he stood with his tail low as they awaited the Rhodesian ridgeback. Despite North's reputation for being rather obnoxious and arrogant with his achievements, the male appeared to be quite humble at his very moment, perhaps even a bit sorrowful. Any dog below who ran their eyes across his face knew quite quickly that what they were about to announce was serious.

R Y K E R | Male | German Shepherd | Loner
Mentions: Ruger, Lianna, Piper, Ikkuma

"It's still there- for now. You better hurry up, though, before I snatch it away from you." Though the shepherd's voice was laced with an irreversible sorrow, he tried to let a playful tone intercept his emotions in an attempt to perk up his companion. His claws clicking on the cold asphalt seemingly emphasized the silence between them as he turned around to lean his shoulder against one side of Ruger, ready to help his friend in any way needed. "Let's go. It's cold, and we need rest." Unsure of what to do, he glanced helplessly towards the fallen body of the small border collie. He didn't remember her being so petite before. "If you think you'll be able to help him on your own-" His teak-coloured eyes flickered to Lianna briefly. "-Then I'll carry Piper. Once we've found somewhere safe to lay low, I'll go off and find an appropriate burial site." Firm, even, low. He refused to let pain seep into his words. As much as this was a painful blow to him, he had to remind himself to be thankful- he was still alive, as was his best friend and their newest pack member. They hadn't stumbled across Ikkuma's fallen form, and they hadn't had to bury her either- perhaps there was still hope. "Let's head back to the abandoned building Ikkuma initially showed us. It's the closest place near by, and I think any enemies we'd potentially have are now dead." His whiskers twitched a little. He was pleased that Piper's murderers had their own lives stolen away.

Aksel / Male / 4 Years / Norwegian Elkhound
Mentions: Ryu

Aksel thought he had escaped without repercussions when he heard the voice calling out to him. Who the hell are you?

He had been so close to escaping unseen, and here someone was. Aksel had smelled the dog coming, and had considered making a run for it. Instead, the Elkhound set down his hare, and turned to face his questioner. He had really, really hoped no one had been this close.

“I’m Aksel, a loner in these parts. I was hunting—” he paused, scanning over the male. This dog didn’t look like a Wild Fang, but better safe than sorry. “I was hunting and got close to the Wild Fang territory. Are you one of them? If so, I apologize.” Aksel hoped he didn’t sound too defensive. He was understandably a little nervous he might be facing the wrath of the Wild Fangs. If he was ever going to join their pack, he didn’t want to make this kind of first impression.

Radjka | Male | 3 Years |German Shepherd
Mentions: Alaska, Dax, Ashira, North, Vegas

Radjka didn't relax much, but he did attempt to take slower breaths as Alaska had commanded. "Well, umm, thank you," he muttered awkwardly. He hadn't expected anyone to actually help him. It was strange to think that someone hadn't wanted him to bleed to death right there, because he was sure he would have if Alaska hadn't taken it upon herself to help him. He felt like a mere 'thank you' wasn't enough. It didn't express his gratitude well enough, but he supposed it would have to do. Radjka wasn't the best when it came to words.

He lowered his ears. "Errhhm..." he trailed off. How to explain that he had been over his head and had gotten his ass thoroughly beaten without sounding like an imbecile? The answer of that question was plain and simple: He couldn't. Communication wasn't his strong suit, and as such, he didn't know how to explain what had happened without making her lift an eyebrow. But he couldn't just say nothing. So he opened his mouth, but just then, Dax called everyone's attention. Relieved he didn't have to embarrass himself further, he turned his head to look at the dog. Looking at Dax gave him a bad taste in his mouth - after all, the soon-to-be scar on his nose was from the beta. But he said nothing as Dax spoke, and he tilted his head. What was Dax going to announce? His face was completely serious, and Ashira, North, and Vegas were close to him. What was going on? And if they were having this important thing, then where was Silaluk? As soon as Radjka thought that, his ears lowered further. He was almost one hundred percent sure what Dax was going to say.

Ryu | Male | 2 Years |Siberian Husky
Mentions: Aksel, Snowball,
slightly Babael, Adsila, Tarra

Twisting around, he bared his fangs at Snowball, but she was already turning away. He turned back to Aksel as the dog spoke to him, his eyes narrowed into thin slits. "No, I'm not one of those disgusting Wild Fangs," he growled, relaxing slightly. So he wasn't a Wild Fang. That was good. But that didn't mean he wasn't capable of bad behavior. He opened his mouth to threaten the other dog, but then an image of Adsila popped up in his mind. He flinched at the thought of the way he yelled at her, and then vice versa. Him, Adsila, Tarra, and Babael would have been just fine if Ryu hadn't been so foolish. So brash. And he was doing it again, right now; he could practically see the three females shaking their heads at him. They would want him to handle this in a better way than the arrogant way he was used to.

And so he bit back the words he was about to say, instead frowning at Aksel. "No, I... I should be the one apologizing," Ryu said, his ears lowering. "I shouldn't have immediately snapped at you, I'm sorry. Look, you said you're a loner, correct? Would it be too brazen of me to suggest that you could stay with me and my friends? After all, safety in numbers. The Wild Fangs are dangerous when it comes to lone travelers." Is this what it's like to be nice? It's horrific. Ryu didn't understand how someone could be kind all the time. It was hard enough to come off as hospitable.

He growled deep in his throat. She still hadn't come inside. He was just getting up to race outside when he finally saw her prowling her way through the spikes. Sighing a huff of relief, Sven plopped back down on the ground, eyeing her up and down. She seemed fine, but he had no doubt she was talking to Ryu. He knew she could handle herself, but that didn't mean he wouldn't flip out when she spoke to a dog like him. A dog who didn't seem to care for the welfare of others - Sven could tell that that dog was more or less out for himself, and would seldom make exceptions. Sven couldn't - and wouldn't - stop being protective of Snowball when he was around.

"Thank you for your hospitality," he said gruffly to Babael. He wasn't used to thanking others, and it made him uncomfortable, but he knew when a thanks was due. "Really, it's very kind of you to have let us stay here, especially since..." he trailed off. Especially since we were the guards that were to keep you trapped. He felt slightly bad about that, and he looked away from her, unable to look Babael in the eyes. Instead, he looked over at Snowball and said, with some terseness, "What were you doing out there?"

Babael || 4 years || Newfoundland Great Dane mix || mentions: Sven, Ryu, Snowball
Babael watched Sven as he seemed to grow anxious, most likely worrying about his companion Snowball. She did not worry for the other so much as long as she was with Ryu, though she could see that offered no comfort to the male. "You two are most welcome, I would never turn a blind eye to someone in need, though I regret the same might not be said for my companion." She chuckled but continued. "I ask that you forgive his grumpiness, we lost two friend recently and he is taking it rather hard." She gave them a curt nod before she turned back to the entrance, waiting for Ryu to join them.
