My current quest with the snake is "Slay as many primates as you can, and then come back to me for your reward"
I've had this quest before, and I'm usually able to at least kill a few primates. However I noticed that attacking and winning against a human in explore doesn't count for this task.

Humans are primates, so why doesn't it count? It should.

***It was suggested by someone in the comments that Lions should also be added to the attack big cats quest; though I somewhat understand them being separate, since there is a quest dedicated solely to lions

This suggestion has 236 supports and 39 NO supports.

I believe that since many people do not count humans as primates, it is safer just to... not do that? xD lol
personally, I've never even noticed this, an i don't really see the point in changing this :0
for these reasons, i give no support.

I feel like that would fringe on the controversial because a lot of religious sects don't believe humans came from monkeys and such so its kind of best to not get into that...

we're not saying anything about evolution. We're saying that literally humans are primates they literally are in that order its a fact

Humans did not evolve from monkeys; we're on two separate evolutionary branches even though we did evolve from a common ancestor. 'Primate' is just a classification device anyway, which means humans are definitely considered this.

Controversy aside, I don't understand why there isn't full support considering that including humans in a quest benefits everyone.

It's not meant to be incorrect, they just have humans in a separate category, like they do the lions. So when you are asked to slay felines, lions don't count as felines. So its pretty much they are in a class of their own, I guess, would be a good way of saying that. Its not to say they aren't primates, its to say they aren't the primate, that they are asking you to slay. Also, I do believe this quest was made before humans were introduced, so instead of rewriting the code to suit, they may have made a slay humans quest, or may not want them to be included in the questing. (I have not noticed a slay humans quest, at least.)

Maybe you can add the idea Lions should be counted as felines

actually, I believe Lioden's world in in a completely separate dimension that our own real-life world.
I'm sure that the admins have thought this through, so I believe that the original system should stay.

Humans are primates so it'd make sense to count them. No matter what your personal belief is, that's still scientific fact. Support.

Lions are separated from the large felines quests because it'd make the quest too easy I believe.

Maybe the humans are separated to make the quest harder as well, Lamm :0
