My current quest with the snake is "Slay as many primates as you can, and then come back to me for your reward" I've had this quest before, and I'm usually able to at least kill a few primates. However I noticed that attacking and winning against a human in explore doesn't count for this task. Humans are primates, so why doesn't it count? It should. ***It was suggested by someone in the comments that Lions should also be added to the attack big cats quest; though I somewhat understand them being separate, since there is a quest dedicated solely to lions |

The thing about that is that there are fewer primate NPCs. There is the Gelada (single), Gelada Packs, the Baboon, the Mandrill, and the Mountain gorilla (but the gorillas are nigh impossible to beat.) If you're not able to reach the Rocky Hills yet that only leaves two viable options for the quest since the mountain gorillas are incredibly hard to beat. For large felines we have Leopards, Black panthers, Cheetahs, Saharan cheetahs, and the Smug Leopard. Adding in all the lion npcs to count (Grey, Angry Lioness, Scar, Red eyed, Blue eyed, PLUS event Lion NPCs would simply make the quest too easy in comparison. Then again one COULD just use a snake scent now that I think about it so either way it's easy if you do that. XD 0 players like this post! Like? Edited on 18/02/16 @ 01:06:03 by Lammergeier (#8680) |

Lions are separated from other felines because we are playing lions, then, of course, lions do make a difference between their own species and the other species of felines. As for humans, I am not sure. Sure it is a straight fact that they are primates, whatever religions says about it, a fact is a fact. So I guess the question is "would our lions consider humans the same than apes, or will they consider them different?" And I think they would consider them different, as humans really are not the same than the usual monkey NPC. They are another kind of enemies, because they are true enemies (not an animal you would kill for no reason like you do with monkeys), setting traps and things, so, yeah, I guess a lion would consider them different than the usual chimp ? 0 players like this post! I doubt a lion would consider a human anything other than a weak, hairless ape because the only animal that considers humans different is humans. Frankly humans really need to stop doing that. I support this. 0 players like this post! Like? |

A weak ape? They can kill you without even touching you, they can set wires and fences, they have giant machines that can go over you, I am pretty sure most animals would make the difference between a deadly untouchable creature, and a common weak ape. 0 players like this post! Like? |

In lioden they're weak - I've never struggled to defeat a human on here. Also I'm talking about weakness in a physical sense not an intellectual one ;) 0 players like this post! Like? |

The ferus primate attack boost works on humans; I don't see why there should be inconsistency in quests :O 0 players like this post! Like? |

Yeah, either include humans in the quest or specify "primates except humans" in the prompt. Just the manage the confusion. 0 players like this post! Like? |
