RP Thread OOC Thread This is a small group RP. Spots available are listed. Spots may open again in time. Spots Open (5/8) Werewolves: (2/2) Vampires: (0/2) "Alduin has fallen as had the war between the Imperials and Storm Cloaks. The Dragonborn gave their life, dying in the process of defeating the dragons. They remember them as they were, a monument stands in their memory in the middle of the rebuilt Helgen. Skyrim is now in the hands of King Ulfric. The land remained peaceful in terms of war and the people live there lives normally. It's been seven years since the World Eater has fallen and a new threat arises. A dragon by the name of Yol'Va'Nir has began terrorizing the land, recruiting other dragons for a new a war on humans. Parthunaxx, the master of the Greybeards has warned his following dragons of the threat. While some want peace with humans, others want to rule them. Yol'Va'Nir is a powerful foe, even going as far as to learn the shout Dragonrend to take down his own kind that oppose them. Will you fight to protect your home? I couldn't find a Skyrim RP so I decided to make one! This is a literate RP group, meaning at least five sentences. This will also be a small group. The spots available are listed above. Rules: All Lioden rules apply! 1. No godmodding 2. Only canon races please (Nord, Orc, ect.) 3. There is no dragon born just yet. It is possible for there to be more than one. Later in the RP someone will be granted or "realize" their power. As to who will be picked by me. 4. Cussing is allowed, but keep it tasteful. 5. There are sexual themes and gore involved like the game, but any sexual scenes must fade to black. 6. For now, you are allowed up to 2 characters. 7. Put your favorite animal in the "other" category. 8. Wait for at least 2 people to post before you do. 9. Remember to be mature. We are all adults here. Well I am. But yeah. You get it. 10. Violation in the rules will result in warnings. After 3 you're out. (Honestly I hate having to put this here, but I've seen some immature whack jobs on here so it's just a precaution.) 11. You are allowed to use screen shots from the game. 12. Do not use someone else's art. Any stock images, please link the source. 13. Also put "Fus Ro Dah" in "Other" 14. Use proper posting format: Name || Age || Gender || Groups || Location || Mentions: This is so we know what character has been used. ---------- Application Form: Name: Gender: Species: Age: Personality: Appearance: Bio: Groups: (Dark Brotherhood, Thieves Guild, ect.) No conflicting groups. Meaning, no being in the Guard and the Dark Brotherhood. I know you can do this in the game, but not here. If you wish to have two conflicting groups, please ask and make sure to provide a good backstory as to why. Strengths/Resistances: Weaknesses: Weapons/Armor: (You can use any armor or weapon so long as it's not a legendary item; ex: Mehrune's Razor. Nightingale armor is allowed so long as your character is in fact a nightingale or stole it.) -(Light or Heavy) -(Primary Weapon) -(Secondary) Spells:(If your character uses spells. Max 5 for now) No shouts - - - - - Other: NEW! The Oblivion Crisis: Mehrunes Dagon: The Daedric Prince of Destruction, attempted to merge the plane of Oblivion with Tamriel. Oblivion is the realm in which Daedra live. The Mythic Dawn was a cult who worshipped him. They assassinated the emperor Uriel Septim, breaking the barrier between Tamriel and Oblivion. The amulet of Kings was a royal artifact only wearable by the Septim dynasty. Only a Septim could wear it and restore the barrier between oblivion and Tamriel. When Uriel Septim was killed, there was believed to be no more heirs, but there was one by the name of Martin. The only hope to sealing away Oblivion was for him to wear the Amulet of Kings and light the dragon fire in Imperial City. Gates to Oblivion began appearing throughout Cyrodil, the Daedra used them to invade. The main hero of the story was able to close the gates, and with the help of the last Septim (Martin Septim) heir, seal Oblivion from Tamriel. Martin sacrificed himself in the process, saving the world from Mehrunes Dagon. 0 players like this post! Like? Edited on 03/02/16 @ 15:57:11 by Honey (#55910) |

Name: Raspoaai Gender: Female Species: Khajiit Age: 24 Personality: Raspoaai is a generally quiet khajiit, tending to stay quiet most of the time rather than speak up. She has learned to stay in the shadows as an assassin, and worships her gods when she wants and where she wants - she doesn't care who judges her for it. She tends to sit in the shadows at every chance she gets, and only speaks when she is required to, which isn't often. She doesn't trust people much, as she has been wronged in her life many times for who she - not to mention the racial slurs she gets often that have ruined the idea of ever going in a city for her. She hates travelling and selling things, like the rest of her kind, and prefers to stay away from those who deal skooma and pickpocket, giving a bad name to her race. She does not distinguish a khajiit from another person when it comes to thieves; she hates them. To those that do get her to open up, she will become a loyal friend who will gladly die for you if need be. Many people who first meet her would call her cold. However, she is very sweet once you get to know her, and can be rather affectionate if she wants to. She isn't really assassin material, which is why she normally spends most of her time outside of the brotherhood, normally minding her own business in the larger cities. She loves kids, and prefers to play with them rather than speak to strangers. Appearance: Unfortunately for me, my computer does not screenshot, so here is a picture of the animal her markings are based off of. Source Bio: Raspoaai was raised in Skyrim, as she was orphaned on a beach when the first khajiits came to Skyrim seeking traders. It was assumed that a few racist Nords killed her family, but her origins are otherwise unknown. She was raised by a simple fish trader in Markarth, who, as time grew, refused to allow her into the actual city. He soon realized that she had a knack for fighting, so he made a bet with a trained warrior; if her father won, the guard would train Raspoaai. If the warrior won, he had the right to kill her father, who was a wanted money thief. At only twelve years of age, her father's loss hurt her badly. The warrior kept his honor, throwing her father in jail and offering to train Raspoaai. She learned quickly, becoming skilled with knives as well as magic, which the warrior knew well. She soon left to find her own path, choosing to join several guilds to rebuild her honor. One day, she hopes to free her father and set things right, as well as find her real parents. Groups: Dark Brotherhood, Nightingales Strengths/Resistances: -Rather good at riding -Swift; can easily dispatch an enemy -Can conduct some magic -Very skilled at sneaking -Has a knack for keeping secrets Weaknesses: -She cannot use large weapons -She does not do well around others -Little arm strength, although she can use a bow -Cannot swim Weapons/Armor: Dark Brotherhood armor (Picture, Source) -Light armor, mostly. -Nightingale Blade -Hunting bow w/ Fire enchantments Spells: -Resist -Flames -Sparks -Healing Other: Wolves, FUS RO DAH! 0 players like this post! Made it home safe! It's really coming down xD Friggin' snow. It's so pretty though. I was able to post on the RP Thread as well. I can't wait to get this rolling :3 Did any of you play Oblivion? It came before Skyrim. I can fill you in if you didn't, but the main villain of this RP will have to do with the planes of Oblivion and what not. I'll keep the rest as a surprise for now though ;) 0 players like this post! Like? |

Ah, my sister had it a while back, but I never bothered to play it. Damn, I wish I had! Could you maybe fill me on it? I feel like I wouldn't be too good at this if I didn't know the storyline for Oblivion. 0 players like this post! Like? |

Oh no worries. Skyrim itself takes place 200 years after Oblivion. And it is a favorite game of mine. It's absolutely amazing and rather challenging. Mehrunes Dagon: The Daedric Prince of Destruction, attempted to merge the plane of Oblivion with Tamriel. Whew. 0 players like this post! Like? |

That's pretty much all you need to know. Most of what will happen here will be new things. So long as you know what the Plane of Oblvion is, you should be fine :) As our characters weren't around during that time anyway, it'd be understandable if they didn't know about it. 0 players like this post!
