Nyu nodded and saw the lion leave. She screwed up in water and rubbed her head. Nyumbani moved her tail happily. '' King Haku, uh? It's a pretty name. '' The young lioness blotchy said to herself and smiled slightly.

She yawned feeling like she had been up way too long for her liking. Her breathing slowed, as her body was getting very tired, but she wanted to stay up. She laid her head on her paws, occasionally closing her eyes, but quickly opening them.

Leola was starting to get sleepy. "Oh, pardon me. I will let you rest." He bowed down to Leola and turned around to leave the lioness to her rest. He was surprised to see a young adolescent coming to them. "Hello." He whispered quietly, trying not to disturb Leola.

Zync had come to the water hole to get a drink in the first place, but had been distracted by the speech and conversations. He went to the center of the gathering area and stepped to the edge. He bent down his neck and started taking sips. Once he was done he laid down next to the edge. He could see his reflection in the beautiful water.

Ali had strayed away from he friends. She laid under a hooked rock, providing her shade. Her head gently fell onto her paws. She soon drifted off to sleep.

She gazed at Aantreklik, and closed her eyes slowly, and drifted off to a nightmare of some kind. She started to talk in her sleep, with her expressions changing with them. "I don't know what you are talking about," she mumbled as she started to growl, as her expression showed that she was angry, and it looked like she would kill anyone in close range.

Asha glanced around at the gathered cats, counting how meany she believed have joined or promised to join the pride. She estimated that about 1/3 of the lions here have joined. She blinked in surprise. That was quite a few lions. She chewed the number over trying to gage how well the pride would do in the future.

The black lion flicked his tail in a dissmising way as he listened with half closed eyes to the lions around him. He shook his head as he tried to focuse on something els. He blinked before looking at the watering hole. He stood up and started to make his way over to it.

He nodded at the male "Hello, I couldn't help but notice your ears" He sat down and made sure to keep his voice down. "It has been a while since I saw a lion with ears like that" He smiled at the male, he didn't mean any offence. He always thought that the lions with differences were incredibly interesting. "Will you be joining the pride? And what about your companion?" He looked curiously at the sleeping lioness, she was quite beautiful.

In her dream she was about to pounce at someone, and in reality she jumped and hit a tree. She roared from the pain, and scratched the tree, leaving big marks. She was breathing heavily, with a scared expression. "Where shall you be, sharp-tongued brute," she spoke avidly, as she looked around at the lions, avoiding looking at the lionesses as much as she could, her ears pinned back, her pupils dilated, she bared her teeth, ready to strike.

Coahoma accepted the affection kindly, nuzzling him back too. She had greatly missed him too after her sister had taken Dunkel and his two siblings away. When she heard Haku being mentioned, she mused, "Little Haku is king now huh?" Hearing what he said next, she became downcast as she remembered what had happened to her pride. "Oh my..." she began, "Your mother saved your lives by taking you away from that horrendous king. You see, Dunkel, your father, the king, would often kill and...eat lion cubs, even cubs of his own... It was stupid of me to not follow your mother, stubbornly insisting that he was a good mate and will be a good father. But boy, was I wrong when I...had given birth to my two precious cubs. When it was time to show them to the king, he...he" Her voice cracked, faltering as she thought about what had happened to her two dearest children. "He killed the male, and for the female, well he brutally injured her, and she died 1 week later of her wounds." Unable to tolerate the emotions in her anymore, she broke down sobbing, tears flowing endlessly out of her now reddened eyes.

He shook his head. "No trouble at all. I won't be gone long."

Opeyemi was glad to see Erebus relax a little, and wondered what the young male had been through to make him so skittish. Probably nothing good, he thought sadly, and scanned the other lions in their vicinity, as well as the horizon to gauge whether Erebus would be safe while he was gone. He didn't expect the trip to take more than a moment, but his instinct to look after those who were vulnerable or injured in some way, whether physically or psychologically, made him cautious. There was no scent of hyena or other troublemakers on the wind and the other lions gathered had been reacting peacefully to one another so far. He hoped it would remain that way in his absence.

He adjusted his herb bags and supplies and left the watering hole, easily following his own trail back to where he had hidden the remains of his meal. Some of the smaller scavengers had been after bits and pieces, but it was still a nice meal for someone the size of the young lion. Opeyemi got a good grip on the carcass and set off on his way. It wasn't heavy nor as cumbersome as dragging some kinds of prey, so he made good time back to the watering hole.

Opeyemi set the carcass down in the spot they had been sitting and began cleaning his own paws and face, displaying his own disinterest in eating more of it so that Erebus would feel free to dig into the meat. Perhaps after he had eaten, Opeyemi would ask how he came to be all alone.
